#Adding An Option to Downgrade Item Quality

As title suggests, adding an option in game to downgrade item quality. When crafting small talk fodder or precrafts, you get a large amount of low(er) level items that makes a mess of your inventory. It's also very tedious to have to click on a confirmation screen every time you want to spend a precraft, but that precraft item is a higher quality. Having an option to lower the quality of certain items would be a very nice QoL for both of these situations.

I actually thought of the reverse fusion thing, but I figured that would be just really bad for the economy. So I made this suggestion instead because I see no realistic downside for the game here

If it was like 1:2 even if would be great for the book and pre crafts.

Well, more so if you did reverse fusion, 1, it would be bad for the economy, and 2, you can use it to abuse item recycling for KC, since you can just buy a bunch of greens off the market and reverse it and dismantle it for resources

I can't tell you how many legendaries I've found in chests or on quests and need epics for the book.

Even at a 2 to 1 ratio I feel like that would be really abuseable, because realistally greens aren't that much more expensive than white off market usually

Just end up like Scotty at that point.

I think odds of getting a green is high enough that it might not be an issue

Alternatively if you're really against an increase ratio, then why not just sell the greens and buy an equal number of whites?

Because that's a lot of extra effort lol

It's to simply have lower quality items for QoL, so you can bypass the precrafts confirmation screen and make your inventory look better

#

Moreso that I wanted to present the idea in a way that wouldn't really affect the game beyond a QoL

So I guess counter to that. If you are using precrafts that fall under the talent tree mass produced, you'll never get quality items. For higher tier though wouldn't the effort to open the inventory and search for the items to downgrade take more effort (clicks/taps) than just saying yes to consume an item of quality?

That would mean you have to put 11 points into a tree that you might not even be building in, on top of that, if you have like 10 or 15 items that you want to downgrade, then finding the item, doing it all at once would be way less clicks than confirming 10 to 15 times.
