They recently took people with bans off the leaderboards and rankings.

1 account per player. Multiple steam accounts (assuming they're operated by separate people) should be fine.

Yeah that can get tricky real quick. I got temp banned from an online game because my friend had a sleepover in the early 2000s before mobile platforms were capable of gaming and we both got banned because he used my PC to log in.

Those no multi account systems are something fierce.
