Looking through the Talent Trees, there is a distinct lack of talents that benefit the guild. The only one I note is the Bounty trophy Bonus talent. There are other potential talents for guild focused players, for example:

-Investment tick cost reduction
-Increased Guild Help time reduction (i.e. how much time you give to guildmates when you Help their Upgrades/expansions)
-Increased number of ticks % bonus in investments
-Chance to give guild request without cost to you
-Increased value of Guild Event points for just the guild total (personal points unaffected)
-extra guild member slot available (perhaps not to exceed max, or perhaps permitting a double sized guild)
-increased Friendship level
-Increased benefit given for a friendship act (more energy for cleaning shop, more time reduction, etc)
-Increase friendship xp for friendship acts
-bonus to renown points earned

This could potentially be done as a 4th tree (pulling trophy bonus into it), or be added to existing trees.

Some items sound ok, some don't
Investment ticks are meant to be the major gold sink. So unlikely to reduce those more.
Guild reduction on upgrades, sounds good but might mess up in the long run (Might have to rework the whole reduction system to account for further reductions)
I don't see a cost involved now for giving an item minus the time cooldown. And this probably wouldn't go through because of potential abuse.
Extra guild member slot? Ouch, probably not. WC is still loaded down with recruiting as it is. 😦
I like the Friendship bonuses. Those seem good.
Hmm, I don't know about a renown bonus. Might work, might not.

I think you are referring to the chance to have no cost when fulfilling a guild request. You may be mistaking the intent. this would be like the chance to have a craft not consume a component.

So fulfilling a guild request for 20 Bronze Fang ordinarily reduces your stock of them. This would be a % chance that the guildmate gets the 20 Fangs, but you also don't lose them.

With the 24 hour cooldown and a reasonably low % it would also avoid abuse.

Ok, that's what you meant.
You'd have to exclude non components from that list then. As a randomly refunded Legend/Epic/Flawless, etc would be way overpowered.

These are all rough ideas and would need appropriate balancing. The main point is to open thoughts to giving talent type bonuses to players who tend to focus in on the guild, whether for growth, team aid, or just helping out the little guy.
I know of several players that have more or less finished the game in terms of their own goals and only stick around to help other players. They often find themselves as leaders in smaller guilds, training new players, or even bouncing around to different guilds giving them temporary investment boosts so players can level up heroes. I think it would be nice to support this play-style.

I'd disagree, I'm not of the mind to help out with items. The game is designed around a grind, many games I play are. So the joy comes not from giving, but from achieving on your own. No matter how long it takes. I do think the artificial nature of achieving goals on a fixed schedule causes the burnout, and most of the problems. This is why it is great to be able to leave an overly fast or slow guild on the search for one that is a better fit without penalty to your investments. Yes, the previous guild loses out, but its also an opportunity to find a better fitting guildmate as well.

I am not saying that wouldn't be a way to balance that particular suggested talent. I am just saying there is a play-style not being offered bonuses in the talent trees. Just like some people prefer the questing, crafting or bartering sides of the game and so specialize in those trees. There are players who prefer finding ways to help other players out.

Probably because talents aren't easily shared between others?

I mean, the shopkeeper is either a cashier at the register/counter, playing the Market or diving into questing adventures.

I suspect that it was just overlooked as a specializable area, since it is not specifically a mechanic of the game, but has been treated as a side benefit of playing in a guild.
