#Locked/Enchanted item can't be used for Hero requests, and cancels the request

Sorry if this has been reported before...

Example:
Ashley just came in and asked for 6 warlord plate.
I bought 6 from the market, and one of them I enchanted with element and spirit, then locked that one enchanted item, leaving the other 5 unlocked.
When I try to give them to Ashley, I get a popup asking if it's ok to use a locked item, I say Yes, but then the transaction appears to be cancelled and she walks away.
I didn't get Ashley coins, and I still have the items in my inventory.
