I have noticed that the drop rate for platinum components from chests seems to be extremely low (I’ve only gotten components from less than half of the 9 chests I’ve opened) compared to opulent chests. Not sure if it’s my bad luck or if other people have noticed it but I think the drop rate should be increased as keys r already extremely rare.

I agree on this. The new LCoG Keys and Chest drop on New Difficulty 11 are extremely low compare to others

It's 45% chance for components per slot so, uh, about 9%? chance to not get components (if the math I did in my head is right)

For instance you'd do 6 quests and get 7 chests once then 0 on next 6. Would need a whole lot of data to be able to say odds are better or worse.
And yes, I had both of those scenarios this lcog. The 7 chests from 1 rotation of 6 quests (2x 2 chests, 3x 1 chest and 1x no chest) and the 0 chests from all 6.
