#dragon event too grindy

Or…craft ahead of time. Like a week or 2 in advance
too grindy/labour intensive. boy your are going to love Kings Caprice then ^_^
but as Hamchi said prepare ahead of time perhaps during KC which happens right before dragon invasion???
They can't run multiple events because of technical reasons
I don't even craft for DI... I just have the 4 best items locked all the time. Villagers and workers come in and sell me stuff, it goes into my inventory and stays there. By the time Di comes around I've got enough to get through the event.
The T13 gear took a lot of the grind out of the airship. As long as you can craft those and some matching elements/spirits then you're in a great place for the airship. You do have to craft stuff ahead of time, but I managed to prep my gear and gear for two other guildmates in just time between the Tower and the Airship. We're just a casual guild with several low level Free-to-play members, and we were still basically done with the airship with a full day to spare.
Also, if your chests are high level or you have some spare marketplace slots to store stuff then don't be afraid to buy stuff off the market in advance. Prices tend to bottom out around the end of the airship, during the Caprice, and during the Tower. You can buy stuff at around the base price, and only worry about crafting elements and spirits.
I love this event. At the worst, it cleans out your shop and gives you massive XP boost as a lower level player AND expedites your furniture expansion.
they should reduce it to 2-3 days... and likewise with caprice.. there's too many events.. i hardly have time for myself.. it gets hectic most days.. and i get pity from other shop keepers, who sweep my store for me.. like im hoarding rubbish or something...
At risk of being a filthy "this game is fine the way it is" person that isn't open to changes, keep in mind that A.) the top results of events are supposed to be impossible or hard if you're not in endgame and B.) DI in particular was meant more for end of game than other events and C.) for the grind part specifically, you should be able to bank items throughout the month if it's very difficult for you to equal about the same reward track in DI compared to other events.
Also...it might be time to upgrade your heroes. While I'm trying not to have endgame blinders on, my heroes alone give me more points per day than I need for our guild to reach max and I'm far from hypermax.
does it help to know that in endgame all events only take 1-2 days?
not really, i don't think i'll reach 'end game' anytime soon perhaps if i stay invested in this game for another 6 months or so, already spent over 700 hours and i think i reached my peak.. i guess it's my fault treating it like a typical game when its not, once i reach my personal milestone i'm hoping to move on.
