The game is becoming unplayable on my tablet even with my settings set to no sound, no vfx, lowest quality, etc. It locks up for 10-30 seconds at times, assuming it doesn't crash and want to reconnect due to 'no response'. Even the Epic PC version is using around 23%+ CPU on my system and I'd rather reduce that.

I don't need to see flying particles whenever a shopper likes something, or a crafted item flying to a rack or storage, or items bouncing around in the background as a quest ends, or even shoppers wandering around my shop, etc, etc. I would rather be able to play the game rather than have it freeze or play at a crawl. Please add a 'no frills' mode that allows us to speed past the unnecessary delays so that those that don't want or need them can just play.

Agreed that "no animations" should be a basic option on this sort of game, specially since it has a big mobile userbase.
I also have to add that I have my doubts whether the freezes are really caused by animations or just their servers, since I run the game mostly on PC and get them all the time when there are no reasons(on my side) for it.

Repeated, unskippable animations can be a game killer for someone like me with ADHD. Animations are cute the first time around, but the forced repetition is agonizing. From version v0.1, ALL games should start with settings allowing the player to disable ANY animation. I like the elemental animations when I open an item from the inventory and I'm expecting it, so I'd probably leave that enabled and disable all other animations if I could. The v14.4.0 update is a step backwards with reintroducing the Collection Book progress animation. The reward track animations and the 'you just crafted an item above normal quality' animations (slash unnecessary screens) are the worst.

I'd like the ability to toggle the quality screen to a colored background when collecting instead.

So you know how multicraft makes show two and kinda shake?

Well in this mode the background would turn the color of the quality and shake then you tap again to claim.

Exactly. That 'you've crafted an item above normal quality' screen is entirely unnecessary, and it just gets worse the further you progress in the game as it procs more frequently. It even feels malicious in that I can't tap anywhere to dismiss it before it finishes playing out, I have to wait for it to finish and then tap the button. stFaceFrown

The visual effect when you craft 2x normal items is ok-ish, because it's short and I can double tap it away faster than other animations take to play out. However, I think both double crafting and higher quality crafting should be indicated by a background visual effect as the item(s) move to the shelves/trunks, much like the background visual effect for when a customer views a decoration and grants energy. The item could easily have a colored dust/sparkle trail to indicate quality, and have 2x of them either taking slightly offset paths or one delayed after the other.

My detest for that celebration/punishment screen is part of the reason why I'm specializing my shop into fusing - to avoid crafting. I craft the minimum needed to master a bp and then I'd rather buy items and fuse higher quality ones because the result quality is never a surprise and so there's no need for a celebration/punishment screen.
