Hey, I know it has been a hot topic for some time, and it's quite a money pool, but I thought this might be an idea, that both: give f2p players a chance to taste some paid content, an still not waste their value.
Make them go with a subscription. E. G. 100 diamonds an you get to try the baker for a week...
Numbers can of course be changed.
Any interest in this kind of subscription? 🙂

Waaaaaaaay back in 2019 when we had the new workers introduced then they did a free trial for a couple of days on them so in theory it's possible (though this was before the introduction of ascension tracks and stuff which may prohibit that.)

For a week? I think that's fair. I'd have said 500 per month per worker.
for 4 workers, you'd have to spend 2000 per month. Compared to 1500 for a CP, that seems relatively comparable.

I was thinking though would you really keep them rented all the time?
Like you could just rent Roxanne during lcog weekends for example, so 100 gems per lcog? It'd take 40 lcogs before you'd have been better buying her (based on how much 4k gems costs.) Whilst from a player perspective that'd be cool as fuck I don't think Kabam is gonna see it the same way. 😛

That's 100 gems they're removing from the game as opposed to 0 dollars the player is spending. They might still prefer that.

Guess it'd come down to if they feel we need another gem sink but I'm pretty sure it'd be at a price point that might go "okay it's cheaper for the first couple of hits but we'd really prefer your money"

The number would need to be way higher. The devs probably dont want you to be able to get them with just the gems from events.

Thing is you get like 500 gems every 4 weeks from events alone, not counting RM

I am aware, that you get a big amount of diamonds every month. So far I got as much, as I needed for the content passes. Should really just be an extra way to get a taste. Not replacing a payment. But sure, it's a though thing to decide. Probably not really worth for the devs.
