Everything they said is coming in 7.0:

Added 3 British light tanks (tier 8,9,10). These are pretty average light tanks, except they have unfairly huge gun depression and the best view range in the game. Like TDs aren't irrelevant enough already.
Nerfed ATGMs and Sheridan a bit.
Buffed BatChat (not sure which one. The tier 10 one I think)
More realistic graphics: dynamic shadows, tank trails, holes from shells
Can now listen to music while hearing game sounds
Will be at least one event in 7.0
Mad games coming back at some point; probably temporarily
Said they are not planning to remove ATGMs ever
Said nothing about new heavy tanks, at all.
Shot sound changes are coming eventually, but not yet
Said it's a huge update, but it really isn't

Update 7.0 Changes

Better Graphics
Gun Recoil - Will not affect Device Performance, will be part of core graphics
Tank Tread Marks and Penetration/Bounce Marks on the Tanks - Will affect graphics, can be switched on and off
Wall destruction is slightly different, pieces of the destroyed wall now fly in the direction you ram it in
TDs with turrets will have their turrets blown off now

BRITISH LIGHTS
Will have the BEST SPOTTING RANGE in the game, base 260 metres. (Just the tier 8)
Tier 9 spotting range not known
Tier 10 will have 280 metres of base spotting range
They do not fire HESH rounds, but have the high pen HE shots
65km/h top speed
Good depression angles, but not known exactly what they are
Their penetration seems to be broken, Tier 8 can penetrate Tiger 2 front plate depending on elevation difference
APCR pens tiger 2 front plate any range

I expect this to be nerfed
The tier 9 and tier 10 fire HEAT instead of APCR
Extremely high DPM for these tanks, Tier 8 has 180-200 alpha for 3.9 seconds reload
Tier 9 and 10 have about a 7 second reload for 350 alpha

Balance Adjustments
Engine Power of Sheridan decreased: (650 horsepower: BEFORE) to (485 horsepower: AFTER)
Literally 1/3 of it's horsepower gone, acceleration and turning is gonna be slow now

RIP Sheridan
ATGM Behaviour Changes
Rocket Range decreased from 350 metres to 300 metres
Missiles will have decreased maneuverability - Details not specified
Batchat Buff
-Better gun handling on the move
-Even more horsepower, + 25horsepower to the tank
STB-1 Nerf
Minus 10 metres of view range
Apparently it was working too well as a pseudo light tank, so there.

Events and Misc
There will be a birthday event added during the update.

I’m rather happy with this 7.0. It will add a lot of nice things to the graphics. But I think they could have changed the sounds too. Personal notice, but I think it’s time to change the sound effects, especially the cannon sounds.

The eight looked like a legitimate 160 alpha 75mm to me. It maxrolled at 230ish at one point, unless I’m completely insane, that’s a bit low for a 190 alpha 20pdr-style gun. Also, with the Caernarvon rocking 190 alpha at 4.5 seconds reload, that would be pretty nuts

Just saying, I don’t know if they’ll change the velocity, but they didn’t mention it, so I guess no. Flight time will be four seconds only if the velocity stays the same

We dont need artillery in blitz. None of the maps were designed with artillery in mind anyway, they would have to rework the majority if not all the maps to suit artillery.

That’s a self propelled gun, and an anti-air gun at that

But the T18 and T82 are self propelled guns that used to feature artillery guns (not just howitzer for anti-bunker and anti-personell use but guns that were actually meant to be used in an artillery (indirect fire support) role as light artillery (they are actually artillery tanks in WoT PC)

Hey so I love the pass, great addition WG. I was wondering if crates would be a possibility in the pass? Maybe a tier 7 crate, but I never really do crates as I only want to spend money if I’m sure I’m getting something (which is why I loved snow globes), but I’d be happy if there was a crate or two in the next pass. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I would still rather have the tier 6 tank at lvl 35, but maybe where the boosters or credits are or avatars, because 9/10 players don’t really care for avatars as we have 1 we stick to.

Still nothing with the stamps and free exp as compensation, ive been in level 40 for the past 12 days and i have done atleast 9-12 daily missions every day, and it gets boring to do missions, you only get trash containers which contains 5 boosters which lasts five games, nothing like a t3 premium tank even in the best container, only boosters, boosters and more boosters

You'll also get used to it over time, most tanks generally have modules in the same place as others, the only thing that generally varies is engine, ammo rack, and sometimes crew placement

@sacred belfry They can change them enough to be heavies. Maybe they are still working on it. Also note that in PC the tier 6 med is STRV 74A2, not just STRV 74. And I'm not sure about leo

What makes me think it might be fake is the order of the two lines. Normally (though not always), heavies are on top, and mediums on the bottom. It also makes more sense I think if the swedish line branches "directly" off of the swedish tier 5, and the italian line is the "secondary" one.

@brisk thistle heavies don’t really tend to have any specific place in the tech tree, and if they did I’d say they’re usually close to or at the bottom
@hoary flame in all the trees except the Russian, I'm pretty sure, the heavies are above the mediums and lights and below the TDs.

@brisk thistle british are on the bottom, chinese are on the bottom, russian are on the bottom, in the American they’re separated, but your theory works for french and german and kinda America

@hoary flame In American, the actual heavy line is above the med and light lines (T-57 is the end of a med line). In Russian, T-34 branches into SU-85, so they had to switch it. In British, same thing with Crusader going into the TD line and also into the comet line. With China I think it's a case of T-34 going straight into the line that makes sense from it, instead of going straight into the IS-2 line (same as the Swedish should go straight into Swedish line, not straight into italian line).

Update 7.0, judging from touted ATGM and Sheridan nerfs - will actually fix a large part of the problems regarding ATGMs. T92 will still be broken OP vs Tier VIII but I'd rather Tier X tournament game play is fixed first. If it goes the way I think it will, I'll be happy. It's just a shame it took WG 6 months to reach/implement the same conclusions that the expert players had since ATGMs were first rolled out en-masse @prime gazelle

Last month I couldn't buy the bundle X (don't need to tell name of bundle, X is just an example) because of wargaming's network corruption. It suddenly disappeared. Me and many of players couldn't buy any of bundle because bundle disappeared quickly and didn't come back. I quickly created a ticket and told my problem in the ticket. And wargaming personal said that WE KNOW THAT PROBLEM THATS WHY WE WILL RE SEND YOU THE OFFER SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO BUY. That's what they said to me. But after 1-2 weeks I asked them what happened to bundle that you will offer me again? And they exactly said that we can't resend same offer again. So basically I couldn't buy a bundle because of game's fault+ and wg said I was right and they said they will give me a second chance to get that X bundle + and finally they said they can't re send and they have nothing to do. What should I do now? I have screenshots of every ticket I can prove it. Wargaming is not taking any responsibility of their attitude. One of employee is saying we will resend offer because its our fault to you don't be able to buy, and the another employee is saying we can't resend. I'm playing for 5 years and I have never been so angry like that before.

I remember that because I got most of my Chinese premiums from that. It was the Lunar New Year event of 2019 and you could buy crates for credits and got ten of those tokens you need 100 of to get the tank for a random Chinese premium tank (it included the Type 64, Type 62, Type 59, T-34-3, WZ-112 Glacial, WZ-111 and the WZ-120-1G FT). I wasted 150 million credits on that event

@spice horizon that's correct but the devs aren't supposed to recommend third party stuff because they are representing wargaming the company, and doing such recommendations would go against most if not all company policies out there. Even though they allow it and they explain it explicitly that all mods that do not involve cheating are allowed, recommending any mods or third parties that produce them would be unfair to other creators, on top of that they have no reason to do so.

This leads me to think that he is in fact reaching out to game developers through the platform, perhaps expecting having his question brought to game developers with the assistance of the moderators. It is highly possible that Starset had in fact made a typo, and meant to say "mod" instead of "dev", but until he states that it was a typo, or if he edits his previous message, I would maintain what I said.

Hi I have 330 tanks in my garage. Currently I am pinning all the tanks I have not yet mastered. Mastered 38% so far. I have a number of tanks I am “working on” ie still need camo, top guns, missing equipment, etc. It would be great if there was a filter with a spanner/wrench icon for tanks that need work that would be a great help.

Also I have had a problem with audio getting “stuck” when I am in the garage getting a tank ready (checking equipment). It is basically the airplane droning noise which is really annoying. As soon as I come out into the main garage it goes back to normal.

im talking about the physics and the game mechanics. like yeah, of course you aint gonna have a health bar irl. but your tank isnt going to control like a cardboard box with tracks and a motor stuffed in it. As someone that's driven a tank irl, i can 100% say that PC wot is far more realistic.

Heavies: better armor/hp equipment
TDs: better rammer/c.s. equipment
Meds: better V. stab/refined gun equipment

Probably will be another battle pass, but not immediately after since WG has their hands full with 7.0 launch and birthday event (which might be a battle pass, but it's probably coming second week of June if I had to guess) @carmine vine

The equipment is fine as it is, and all the proposed idea does is to make heavies even more braindead, undo sheridan nerf somewhat, make TDs camp even more and turn the game into a toxic, camping mess, and have Mediums get the short end of the stick (because most mediums already are accurate & accurate on the move and aim quickly

If every kind of tank plays its role in battle than there is no or less toxictety anymore. TD's are meant to snipe while giving fire support. And if that is by camping, fine! As long as the can fire constantly. If they are out of targets than it is useless to camp. It has to move by than. Also if the meds/light tanks are not flanking and/or spotting than they are useless as well. Same thing for heavy tanks camping in a bush near spawn. Play your role of the tank you drive and stop crying about camping TD's as they play their role. A TD is not made for brawling in like a light/medium does or a very well armored heavy tank like the maus. You can't expect a grill or a 183 going to the 1st line of battle. At least not in the beginning of the battle. They have to preserve their HP.

They’re not terrible. The clip and mobility work well. It’s just that the Sheridan was better for a while. Now the Sheridan isn’t as quick, and the Batchat gets a buff, so the Batchat will be more useful now

The Fv215b183 does deserve a hull traverse speed buff and an armor buff at the very least, whereas the Fv 4005 needs to have either the gun nerfed or removed or give the same autoloader gun to the Fv 215b183 as well. Pick your poison, they all suck for someone.

The chance of getting a tank is actually about 48.5% which for crates isn't an absolutely terrible deal, but then again you may spend 10k gold and get the brom which was for sale much much cheaper.

The chance of it dropping a tank that's rare (eg not chimera, lowe, gravedigger etc) is about 33%.

If you take the average value of the tier 10s to be 25k gold, the average value of the tier 8s to be 12.5k and tier 7 and 6s to be 10k then the average value pf what you will get back is 9081 gold. This is an average based off buying the crates a huge number of times, it's still likely that you will get no tanks at all. Even if you do get a tank, chances are you will have lost money based off the value of it using my rough figures which are overestimates imo.

No it isn't. Say the chance of getting a tank is 5% for all of them. The chance of not getting a tank from one crate is 95%. The chance of not getting a tank from one crate and then next crate as well is 0.95*0.95=0.9025 or 90.25% That means out of 2 crates there is a 9.75% chance of getting a tank. Scale that up over 16 crates using the correct percentages and you a 51.573% chance of not getting a tank from 16 crates, so a 48.427% chance of getting at least one tank. @crimson harness

probably later on, about the heavy tier 10, apparently it had some different guns, which one is it most likely going to have? 105, 120 or 150 mm? 150 might be op ( since it was an autoloader) but if its like 120 its just gonna be like and amx 50 b (both in appearance and dmg and stuff) but supposedly it is fast (medium tank mobility) but with kinda bad armour

its also supposed to have -12 gd which seems really good

@brisk plover Kranvagn is a 120mm gun, and also, you have it backwards. The armor is amazing, and the turret is basically impenetrable, but it’s pretty sluggish in its p/w ratio.
Originally on PC, it had a 4*400 autoloader, same as T57 and AMX 50b, but that’s been changed to a 3*440 autoloader

Right now, I see two possibilities for the gun for Blitz:

3*400, which would give it a similar gun to the T57 and 50b, but it would likely have worse DPM/pen/accuracy to compensate the extra armor
2*420, which would be in line with the new gun it has on PC. All I have to say about this is ugh.

Battel Royale would be a bit difficult to play according to the size and lay out of some maps. But I would be interested in some sort of storm mode instead. A game mode where a timer counts down to the arrival of a thunder storm, blizzard, or sand storm. At this point the game, it would make it harder to spot other tanks.

Actually… there's some talk on the Russian forums that the Kranvagn is being tested with an autoreloader system like the Italian medium tanks.
3 shells, 400 alpha each, although nothing is set in stone yet.
@wicked yoke i'm hoping this don't happen. Will destroy the tank. Seriously... The fun in it is the great turret and the Autoloader gun.

The autoreloader won't destroy the Kranvagn, it still has a clip to mow down tanks. But as Poocho has pointed out above, an autoreloader has the potential to make the Kranvagn OP, if we consider it's role as a hulldown clipper in PC. The AMX 50B might see some use for its mobility, but the T57 Heavy might actually be replaced by the Kranvagn.

@wicked yoke considering how strong the pen and the gun on the t57 heavy is, i think making the Kranvagn a reliable hulldown tank with an average mobility but with a much weaker autoloader or autoreloader if it comes to this, might be a somewhat good idea, giving variety in the clipper tanks’ world.

Imo giving an autoreloader to a tank that can hulldown effectively is a bad idea tho, all the current autoreloaders are (somewhat) balanced by bad armor.

Blitz post - Kranvagn and Emil 1951 are about to enter testing on general server soon.
Kranvagn is a tier 10 swedish tank and emil 1951 is likely a tier 8 premium swedish tank.
Also a new map has entered development . Do not expect to see it anytime soon. Not unless I misread this.

Thing is, in PC the Krav turret has almost 400 mm of armor. It's literally impenetrable. Also it is one of the best performing heavies because wot PC is very heavy meta oriented. I think the Krav in blitz, if it's as same as PC version, will actually be great as an anti TD meta tank because it's armor profile will be a challenge for any TD. However, it could make a lot of heavies, especially the T57 and hull down heavies like M103, IS7, etc redundant. It cannot be allowed to have 12 degrees of gun depression in my opinion since ridge line battle is very common in blitz. Thing thing would be broken with that armor+ 12 degrees of gun depression+ auto reloader.

the thing is it doesn't matter if u get downvoted, even if u diserve it. And often it is used for the wrong reasons, just becuase seomone doesn't preform as well as you does not mean they blocked you, sent hate or anything else so why downvote? I mean military honor should actually do something imo. Someone with 1 star should be extremely close to getting a temporary ban. 2 stars should be close but not as close as a 1 star, etc etc. WG should also probably reset everyone's military honor every update to make it more effective and accurate; rather than letting people accumulate thousands of upvotes.

not sure where to ask this, but would there be a way to implement into the game a way to spend XP from two tanks into one? for example: XP from both the RU 251 and Indien-Pz to research the Leopard PT A? because i have already upgraded all the modules on both but still have to upgrade the crew and don't want to have to waste the XP or spend gold to convert to free XP for one of the tanks.

The point is that he doesn’t want op tanks to become to common. He wants them to be expensive so that few people buy them. This way they aren’t common and wargaming still makes it’s money. That’s why selling the obj252u for 8500 messed things up so much and why not selling the action x in crates might have been a mistake imo.

the module damage can be low enough to not shift the engine into a yellow/damaged state, but it will still roll the 10/20% chance of fire from engine damage

both are good additions to the garage. fast aim time and surprisingly quick mobility means you can really get shots off when enemies make small mistakes for the 121, whereas the 113 specializes in leading pushes with its decent armor and best in class DPM

I don’t like realistic because the markers still show up on tanks when you aim at them. They should never show up.. EVER, so you can never tell how much HP opponents are on. Would be far more interesting.

@midnight spindle Rn I think it prevents a lot of cheating being possible. I don’t fully understand how it all works but I think with the server deciding it, cheating is lowered, since you can’t just teleport all over the map, as the server decides how fast you move and whether you’re being blocked by an object or anything else. I think with the client side movement, you could just tell the server you moved from one end of the map to the other, and the server would just agree and thus cheats are possible. Same for other aspects like shooting etc being server-side

Graphics are cool and all, but how about shell marks on destroyed vehicles or possibility to see the shells after the game like the "battle hits" mod on WoTPC? During the battle looking at the markers is the last thing you should be focusing on, but still it is good tos see. Best type of new content actually, second maybe only to maps.

WG should make the waiting like this: You click battle and you can be in garage while waiting and when you're about to enter battle, it gives you a notification that you're about to enter a battle in 5 seconds

People might be changing ammo setups or equipment, consumables etc. Allowing them to change their setup after they have joined the Queue would lead to some people being caught out without their tank ready and they’re just given 5 seconds or whatever time before they are thrown into the battle without really being ready

So... Used to play sometimes with a Bluetooth controller. With limited use (couldn't change ammo type or autoaim) but now it seems no more (7.0) is this something you guys did ? (Android 10 on Realme X2 pro)

Phones have always smaller edges, What about being able to move controls everywhere on the screen?? some stuff is "stucked" into corners, like consumables and its really hard to press them because they're basically sticked to my hand, the fingers just cant reach that

no dude u cant move them, they're trapped in a box into the corner, you can just move it up and down @midnight spindle

Not really, the only tank that has more armor than the Tiger 2 is the VK 100 and maybe the Lowe. The tiger 2 is more mobile than these tanks so it does not near more armor

Honestly 9 seems like more than enough. If it keeps an autoreloading gun than it's balancing factor of 1° of depression really isn't a big price given 8° is more than enough for most areas

Kranvagn was ultimately made for fights like blitz and if it doesn’t get 9 depression or more we riot, it just has to be good or they might make it very Shît given that Sheridan has been only getting nerfs ever since it came out, u never know what to expect

10 is a absolute must for a tank that's renowned for its gun depression and hull down prowess. on oc its 12 I think. but 10 is fine for blitz too (maybe it'll be 12...hopefully)

Imo 9 degrees of gun depression is sufficient for the Kranvagn. It could hull down quite efficiently on maps like Mines mid, or Dead Rail, with 9 degrees.
