Sure, ping can be manageable with low packet loss. If you added 60% intermittent packet loss in the middle of the game you will be creamed even against Asian server teams.

We changed 3 guys not 2 , Hidde was a sub during the onlines @pale finch , except rg romka vent niko and the 3 guys that were changed were the best in the team
But even tho we performed so much better in training , even vs Rgn feast wombats , Event day was messed up after we played 6v7 the first game because hidde had like +600ping and the lady from wg was like we cant restart , it's only one guy ....and then from that point team spirit just went down

FYI Click on Announcements and select ALL (which I have just done). Just as a point, mine was set at Server default settings... and I wasn't getting announcements prior to this. Maybe worth changing these defaults so that people are set to automatically getting the announcements, and have to choose to turn them off (if you see what I mean, and if that's possible, and if I have understood correctly how it's supposed to work)

Dear tournament participants.

Unfortunately, some of you faced technical issues during quick tournaments on November 6, 8 and 10. We apologize for any inconveniences you had. In order to avoid Operation Twister progress losses, we'll provide compensation.

As it was announced on November 7th, Operation Twister is extended by 1 day, event timer will be updated after server restart tonight. Every player will have an opportunity to earn more coins by completing missions regardless of taking part in tournaments.

We have to cancel today's tournaments since we need more time to restore tournaments stability.

Active tournament players who had issues mentioned before will receive from 24 to 36 coins as compensation for previous and upcoming tournaments. At the moment, we're forming a list of such players. Coins will be credited in a few days.

Please keep in mind that quick tournaments were an extra source of gaining coins. Players who followed the news, watched our live streams and completed missions on a regular basis have already received their FCM 50t.

The tournaments were never originally mentioned when the event was mentioned so they were probably introduced as many people would otherwise not be able at all to gethe fcm. In regards to Wg saying they will give the coins to active players, they never specified the criteria that this is based on so there isn't much of an argument to make.

Apparently this game is booming in China. In 2018, the EN and RU Twister streams got ~400 thousand views combined. The Chinese got 1.3 million.

There is a huge, growing market for this sort of thing, and if Wargaming doesnt take advantage of it then they would need leadership replacement in addition to a new logistics team. Thats your guarantee @vital obsidian

You register your team and once registration ends you have 2-3 opponents you face and you get about an hour after registration ends to know the maps aswell as the team you face. Win 2/3 or 3/3 and you get a gold ticket which you use for the gold tournament for that specific tier. If I missed anything out feel free to correct me as it’s been a while.

Honestly WG... stop hiring kids as DB programmers and get some professionals to sort the Tournament stuff out properly. You're even managing to crash the PC client this time (when trying to search for a named team)... plus all the other known stuff that should have already been fixed. How do tournaments work, because I can't play with other tanks

You can only play tanks from that specific tier in which your team registered in for the tournament. If your team registers in t7/8 tournament you can only play tanks which are tiers 7 or 8, if your team registers for tier 9/10 tourney they can only play tier 9 or 10 tanks. @cursive coral

If you want to play random battles you can play them before or after your match ends unless it’s a quick tournament.

Once quick tournament starts you can’t play random games until the tourney is done/you’ve lost both lives/your captain dismisses the team/and ofc if your team wins the whole thing. From what I know that is.

@chilly terrace I didnt find a channel where ideas for new tanks can be dropped. I ended up at ideas for new consumables.

My idea involves that every gun is its own tank with its own name. Leman Russ Demolisher (a kind of tier 7 KV-2), Leman Russ Battle Tank (that is a tier 6 magazine), Leman Russ Executioner (tier 8 drum loader), Leman Russ Punisher (tier 7 20 shot magazine gunner with leopard dps) and Leman Russ Nova with double barrel turret

So this blue and yellow monster (I play cadians but went my own way with the colour scheme after I saw how ugly the cadian colour scheme looks. Also didnt have the executioner plasma cannon so got one from chaos marines)

@leaden belfry I did it differently: everything is magnetized. All the parts have magnets so at location I assemble it. Makes it possible to transport it to tours without it getting wrecked before it sees battle

I think there's no idea for new tanks channel mainly because of the spam it'd cause and the generally unthought through ideas people would post. Look at how #613362846717181963 turned out. Most of it was spam, or trolling

and most people don't think of the impact or how it would even work. Just randomly spouting whatever popped into their heads

it takes a lot of work to think a tank through, to balance it properly and to make it work in the game, especially when it comes from somewhere else altogether with very different classifications and details there than would be possible in Blitz

Magnetised parts on a tank is not something I see happening soon in Blitz, to use your tank as an example

I have thought it through completely. (The magnetizing is just for my tank. It is not standard at all, but at location I assemble it so no one sees it)
The battle tank will be a six shot magazine. Every shell has an 95 alpha damage. Top speed would be 25 km/h and magazine reload 20 seconds. Shell reload 1.5 seconds. Armor would be focussed frontal but both sponsons would be weak spots, specifically between the side mounted bolters and the hull. Magazine near the back of the turret in the hullm engine under the yellow striped cap

At tier 7 the Leman Russ Demolisher, with slightly improved armor but the same weak spots. Also at tier 7 the punisher with leopard like damage per shot, 20 shots a magazine and shoots the entire magazine in one go. 24 second reload to (so basically the idea behind helsing) and Leman Russ Nova with 2 double shot cannons. The Nova will be the one with the high pen gun, but lower damage per minute in exchange for that
The executioner would be an drum loader. 6 shots with 200 dps. 6 seconds per shot reload going up to 12 seconds for the first shot to load. Can be incredibly powerfull if you can keep the opponents in the dark about how many shots you got left

You'd still be missing a lot of data, even with saying this, and no guarantee that it'd work as intended and wouldn't be overpowered. My only point with this and with what I said is that that is why there's not a tanks-idea channel
