I have to face the same RGN team every single time in the bracket somewhere in ascent as well. So qualifiers is actually going poorly for us, but I will say this, its a excellent scrim practice- and we'll need it, since we don't have much scrim time before or after the games.

@fringe galleon it’s not an actual solution, but my best advice is to start the game like half an hour early and keep it running. I do the same for streaming - and I make sure I'm on P1 and will reload the game a few times if I'm not until I am
@oblique pewter my clan sometimes plays tier VI for fun because it's not that exciting and it basically just becomes a fun clan night. We mainly use Arl and Cromwell B, with the odd su100y or kv2 in there if we think the enemy won't give that much opposition.
Kv1s has too long a reload imo, and too troll a gun. Cromwell B's out play any other Med, especially if they're in a pack of 2 or 3.

We should be allowed to stream more Clans in 1 day. My team was TN_MN and they lost. So people can't see finals if the streamer to that team is not assigned.
-Streamers should be allowed to stream to finals, (All Stages), with special permission to join all tournament rooms. We show our viewers our replays to just pass our time and there and meanwhile Viewers wait for actual stream. It's boring for viewers too for such a long wait.

@chilly terrace Is it possible to have a two week prof tournament? This current schedule isn't good for anyone in my honest opinon. I can speak for many players and viewers that a tournament with daily scheduled games result in a bad experience. I personally, got exhausted and broken from comp after every pro season (I played in 2018 twister, and 2019 spring) and I needed cheering up from my clanmates to even touch the game. I don't know about streamers handle the schedule, but for EU streamers like amanuet and rolling. It sounds awful to get up (early or noon Idk when asia is streamed live), stream eu at night, than at 3 am to stream na comp. When people have lives, this is destroying behaviors.
I really appreciate more rewards for the tournament, especially the gold. I appreicate having a tenth member of the roster. (Can we have three spectators?) I appreicate you trying out a different format (although I don't like it very much) And I appreciate your presence on the server, it's helped me out a lot. @chilly terrace

You need to find a clan that has a team for tournaments. The lowest tier tourney is tier V and VI,. Then theres another one that allows VII and VIII tiers. And the biggest one is for tiers IX and X. If u are new u can start from tier VI tourney and keep improving @thorn shale

If clans don't follow the rules, and abuse the rules they don't expect to win the prize. We are doing tournaments for the community and we expect from Clan leaders to respect the host and rules. The reason, K1NG is not getting prizes is "ABUSED HOST" after loosing the tournament(K1NG leader was abusing in tournament room too, but I didn't took any action, but he also abused on DM and Discord Server of KoK than I took some action).
The score was 0:4, K1NG with 0 score and E7 did 4. But, it was not the final decision about prizes, we later changed it.
I am host and owner of KoK 7vs7 and with me I had 50+ staff who was helping, and we made rules and implemented WG rules too. If a clan no matter any, don't follow the rules, KoK will not send a list of them to WG because WG have strict rules too about "ABUSE".
K1NG said, CANAL map was not listed, it was listed in announcement section of server(Announced on 7th sept) but KoK_Maps channel was not updated. For the finals it was NO ONE KNOWS THE MAPS. If they were not happy with CANAL, why they CLICK READY? They can click not ready and ask me to change the map. But, they played 2 battles in Canal, and played 2 more battles in other map, ones they lost the tournament they started abusing me. If they mentioned the issue earlier that they don't want to play in CANAL map which is the good tournament map, I could have changed it.
Other issue of K1NG was about timing, so here is the data for time:

Time limit to start was 30 seconds after watching the map.

So, map was visible for 103 seconds. So clans got extra 73 seconds to prepare for tanks.

Dynasty's pearl map was visible for 123 seconds. So clans got extra 93 seconds to prepare for tanks.

When u say "abuse" you mean backlash from a salty clan ie fans. Which is expected for any tournament, even twister will gain some salt.
As for the maps issue, the semi finals and finals were poorly planned and with your high amount of channels in your server you cant expect busy teams with confused schedules to read every single one of your messages. If the fault is to be on your admins you should have consulted with them more thoroughly. To end, I hope that you can see the flaws in your thinking and tournament hosting and I hope in the future if you choose to host another tournament you will be properly prepared to avoid such drama

Yes, I agree that there was valid information in the announcement channel. A point I have to bring up is that the tournament was poorly managed, although I agree i had some parts to be blamed as well for mess ups as I was in your staff team. There were incidents of steamers getting left out being undable to stream a battle due to poor planning and with the large amount of channels in your server with TWO different map compositions I can see a busy stressed out team being confused on which composition was the correct one. For all you know the team leader could have seen the wrong comp and miss out the correct comp adding to my point of poor planning and bad communication with your staff.
But I do believe the main issue or removed prizes have been solved. So let's put this drama behind us

It was a large scale tournament Asia ever seen,we had a lot of Streamers but place for 4 only to spec, so we were not able to put all and we just put famous Streamers. KoK staff tried level best to make it perfect. There is always room for improvements, and I am sure we will learn from our few mistakes that we did in Finals. Next time, we will buy a website for KoK, so everything will be easy to access. On 31st August and 1st September, our tournament was delayed because Asian Server had ping issues, so this was not the fault of KoK management. We contacted WG here #585464171349409811 to fix ping issue too that day. If you say, that's why we are poorly managed than I am sorry I don't agree wit this, if Asia had good ping that day, we might be seeing only Finals today. Because of Ping issues, we had to change the format too, it was only 3 stages in start, but we made it 4 later. Clans decided to postpone the tournaments, it was not KoK decision, but still we said yes, we worked for more days. In short, Ping issue of Asia created problems for our stage#1 . We created everything new because of ping in 2 days. We tried our level best.

Firstly, you were the one who did not follow the rules that you set out yourself. You did indeed say that No One Knows the Maps. But then you updated it such that there was a map pool included. Canal was not in it after you updated it a second time. Thus, the team was not ready as they were not aware they will be playing on Canal.
The reason the team protested strongly against your decisions was because you used your position as KoK host to Bully And provoke the leader of the team by ignoring his protest and then FORCING them to ready up. So how dare you use the excuse 'Why they click ready?"
Then after the score is 0:3 you embarassed the team even further by setting an unlimited countdown on the preparation part. Also please look at yourself as the HOST of KoK before saying my Clan is bad.
Our actions were not without warrant, as PK's indifference to our complaints, which were very valid, were ignored.
Insults and in-game banter are part and parcel of any online game, especially when the tournament is conducted so loosely without any clear timings or information before matches. PK outright announce that " K1NG has been forfeited" in his own public server and stated we will receive "nothing". This only further provoke us, as he did not gave us any warning or opportunity to apologized. To clarify, he immediately forfeited us after we decided against a rematch with E7.
Then after messaging me to try and solve the issue, i go to sleep and wake up to him sending message after message trying to solidify his position in his server and WG official server. We know our position though, the only thing bad that we did is my deputy saying stuff in the heat of the moment. Right now PK is moving on to EU to Conduct his tournament there. I strongly suggest everyone to reconsider joining it without having everything set perfectly, because if there are any issues, it wont be handled professionally by both parties.

@low badger as a streamer I'd also prefer a more spread out schedule, BUT this format will be better for audience retention/engagement (in theory) - also, at this point in time, it is probably impossible to change the plans.
@vital obsidian - that's a great point re: money. Other games with these kind of time commitments pay out enough to cover the cost of the time invested for top level teams. 1st place pros get $200 per player for one week full tiem engagement. That is objectively not that much for many players on the EU server at least.
@thorn shale @chilly terrace - the point re: spectators (other than streamers) is important. It can give a huge advantage to a team having their commander observing plus other spectators can free cam and see destructible cover being pushed over = abnormal tacticial info.
In general, having the clan decide who goes to professional/challenger team seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But it will be on the clan leaders and players to figure it out.

Exactly, this game should be played by the 7 players only in the team playing the actual tanks. So, by all means, why would there be need for additional spectators? Imagine for a very important game your team‘s reserve players cannot come and you are left with 7 players, which is enough. In this case, you will still have a disadvantage since the other team may have 9 players, 7 players focused on the game and the commander leading as a spectator
At least for me, being a commander distracts me quite a bit and deteriorates my individual performance, but it has to be done by someone anyway

I m not quite sure there is actually any risk for Rolling not making the offline event. The guy is clearly op commentator and have shown amazing commitment to the game and CW and clans more generally (covering some community events like KRKN gala) for more than a year.
Same goes for amaunet - so we have a duo that I believe to be complementary.

@velvet dome This tournament will be held if some clans in Top or/and Middle Echelon will be on the same place, otherwise this tournament will be cancelled. Only these clan which will be placed in Top or Middle Echelon will be able to participate in Last Chance tournament. The seeding will be organize by this way that clans which have the same amount of cups will fight at the first round. The amount of cups will help to win any clan with the same amount of cups, but this amount won't allow you to get round the clan with bigger amount of cups.

imagine 1 extra team messing up everyone's seeding, since there is only 8 teams, having a 9th team on 1 of the days mean 2 of the lowest wr team will get kicked down... and meaning the losing team will earn less cups that they probably would need, and maybe even winning that match wouldn't be enough at all. so this is extra hardwork for potential some of the teams that are trying to secure a spot at top 8

You have to dissociate decision from which clans are involved, and noting tiem constraints/other logistical issues which cannot be overcome - WG had (as far as I can see) had limited options...
- Both teams get tickets
- Leave it as is
Re-running that tournament group is not an option due to time and logistics issues.
Not awarding a ticket to one team due to a technical fault is clearly not viable.

^ Noting thse results @silver vapor and that EA have secured a ticket previously, giving both a ticket is fair. AFAIK, ACT-1 and MOON5 have not acquired tickets before (/ are highly likely to have lost to FEAST) so I would not consider offering those teams a ticket.

If there is a clear top 8 (i.e., no clans tied for 8th place and only 8 clans in the top 8) - no Last Chance would be held for them. Same goes for Top 9-16.

The reason for havign a length Ascent is to avoid overlaps. There are 8 separate cup scoring tournaments. The odds of there being teams tied for cups by the end is EXTREMELY low

@silver vapor yes, we understand. They receive tickets, because in this match 2 of 3 battles weren't played due the technical issue. They lost the chance to advance to next round (it was quarterfinals). That's why they receive tickets. It's not unfair to other teams, because all teams also get extra cups dur not full bracket, for example.

Not the amount but how they give it to us.
When we win a few round and it says "congratulations you have won 400k" and you look at what you receive and it 50k.
I know the reason is they split it between the team and you lose some playing the game.
But I would rather know as soon as we won those few games how much I got not the whole team.

You have no idea how hard it is for me to grind stock tanks , remember back then in eros I played grille 24h/7 because I didnt have 268 , in EG- when I finally grinded 268 , wg buffed foch and niko is like , yeee rg grind foch, heck no @gentle sierra
