The tournament did not end tomorrow Saturday ?. This tournament adds drinks for the Top Echelon ?. To get guys to suddenly book a whole extra weekend fri-sun is not easy, many are in exam period and every evening counts irl. The only unfairness in this system is bringing only one team per clan to echelons, which was not the case for professionals and twister.
For example there are some 2nd teams of the top8 clans who would also be able to make it to top echelons or to mid. But they can't because it's most likely that their top team will attend there.

Mechanics are different between pc and touch. Autoaim mainly and how aim works in general. This makes it two games in one in some ways. But if you want to compete at higher levels you can't have such differecies between players.

US demonstrated phenomenal focus fire and discipline - plus they had some masterful pincer moves and re-positioning on Fort Despair. They deserved all of their wins IMO - the other teams also played really well though. Very encouraging for the EU scene to see so many teams playing at such a competent level ❤

In many FPS games FF is typically always on unless it’s a game mode or server that specifically has it disabled . Team kills (TK) are just part of the game if FF is one of the game mechanics.
Even on a casual CS server it’s expected that you control where you aim. If you accidentally TK someone and don’t apologize for it and do your best to avoid doing it again, typically you will get booted ASAP.
Of course in Blitz some of this is not applicable since the games are single battles and not best-of-X or first-to-X-wins and there are no admins to boot a misbehaving player.

Well the Max amount of timer per battles is 7 mins and there are 5 battles with a 2 min break between them: 5x7+2x4= 43 mins
- 3 mins extra for battle countdown.
So 45 mins per stage and if there are 3 stages it will last 2 hours and 15 mins
I have most likely made a simple mistake somewhere
My guess is there will be no break and we play non stop for over 2 hours if every game goes to a tie breaker

Hey - a bit of a “doh” question, but... can a clan mate who is NOT participating in the Echelon tourney donate their ticket to a clan member who just joined last week? It looks like everybody in the clan got tickets.

so so so sorry for no stream tonight, I've no idea what went wrong and why it wasn't working. Tried streaming through restream like normal - didn't work. Tried streaming to youtube directly - didn't work. Restarted everything - both sets didn't work. So now I created a new live event just to test it. And it worked perfectly. I've no idea what went wrong.. but hopefully that does mean it'll be working right when I stream NA tonight.

All wins between the 3 teams' head to head will be counted. The team that wins more games will have a higher ranking
For example
A 2-0 B
B 2-1 C
C 2-1A
A - 3 wins
B - 2 wins
C - 3 wins
And because C has win A, the sequence would be C > A > B
