Amazon doesn't sponsor - they run and oversee tournament with $100k prize pool featuring a number of mobile titles. WG have had issues with Visa in the past for this series for participants, plus Amazon also leave notice to last minute so it isn't well promoted. PLUS WG with Twister 2018 already raised the prize pool bar higher than MM would allow (Blitz was 10k (2017), then 20k (2018) out of the 100k annual MM totals).
It's probably more hassle than it is worth for WG, and now they are getting better at running these things in-house they probably feel more confident they can do a better job/get better value for money by running another tournament themselves. (I hope)

satellite is a very limited resource, so the chances of Wargaming able to utilize it for "gaming purposes" would be slim, not saying this idea isn't viable at all, but rather the technology right now is still an issue. No one in this world currently would have enough resources and permissions to construct a high speed low latency network that only belongs to them, especially across continents.

Tournaments is supposed to be an end-game game-mode. It's not that you are always using all of your credits into buying new tier x. If that's the case, your garage is too small for comp. Putting your credits into tier x tank is a 1-time investment. Not an infinite loop. Once you get all the tanks, it's where the true profit comes in
I have almost got all of the tier x that I need, and at this point I am just earning credits, and nowhere to spend them... It's about identify your role and get all of the tanks related to that role

To my understanding, when the hour goes forward on Sunday, the tournaments will also be an hour later, i.e. still 6pm in the UK. This sucks. It's that simple. Daylight savings move your clock one hour, but the server timer doesn't get affected as it follows a set time zone without daylight saving, so your time move 1 hour earlier. But other countries that doesn't have daylight savings doesn't get affected.

Pay attention that schedule for Qualifiers to Professionals Tournament was changed for EU and NA realm. You can find current schedule in the game client.

As I understand it, speaking from a position of zero authority, WG are currently in the process of optimising the group structures to reflect the registered number of teams. It appears this is being actively refined, so may seem to be buggy until they conclude the work from their end.

in Asia's Tournament tab for Spring Season Qualifiers, the web display has several bugs that shows only 1 player in the team, also the team numbers are off compared to the in-game figures. idk but tournament system is really screwed up recently I guess
