Caernarvon action X is broken, more than 252u which isn’t broken imo, It can somehow sidescrape due to its buffed 90mm sides which are about twice as thick as the regular Caernarvon

The ax isn’t even op. Maybe it’s turret is good but if u just switch to pramo you can easily pen it. Not to mention, cupola is really big and easy to hit for good players. The 252 is better considering nothing can pen it during sidescrape and when it is face hugging, it is nearly impossible to pen it when they raise their gun.

62a feels faster, and turret is good. 140 is just a meh tank now :/. It was supposed compensate but having an extra degree of depression. But use that to an advantage. The hull is meh if a tank is a bit taller it can shoot down at it. The top of its hull is vurnerable

Tier 8 is 5/6 heavies per team, with a few more meds at high ratings (prog and chimeras) and tier 10 tends to be more balanced but I've only experienced it over 4k

Cause it works by having the teams have the same overall ranking, not having diamonds with diamonds, platinum with platinum, gold with gold, etc, kinda how practically every other game has their ranked matches

kill a specific tank type gets annoying but if you can play mediums or lights and picking up kills it doesn't end up being too bad

personally the ones like "win so-and-so games in [tank class]" are the most annoying because it pretty much limits what tanks you can use to get done with the mission

The issue with allowing countdowns in ratings is that it is unbalanced no matter what.

If you play against each other in voicechat, there isn't really any difference. This means you aren't negatively affected at all

But if you play with each other, then you can do so much more in voicechat. You can just convey so much more information which helps you win many more games.

In both cases you are trying your hardest, but you still have a definite advantage by doing countdowns, so they should be banned.

The next issue is that the game cannot tell when people are in voicechat. When it's from the same clan, it's kind of obvious but I've met clanmates in ratings many times by accident. You don't even have to be in the same clan to do countdowns though, and unless someone makes it blatantly obvious that they are doing a countdown, it's hard for players in that game to tell as well.

In short, there is no way to enforce a ban on countdowns but it is still unfair. The community obviously do not care about fair play as long as it within the rules (look at the big tournaments except RGN who deserve huge respect) and so we can't rely on them to "do the right thing".

The best thing WG can do is make a rule against it specifically and hope it discourages people and makes it a smaller issue

The simple fact is that everyone at the top does spam battles, because that is the only way you ever get to the top. If WG plan on keeping the fearless so everyone that gets to 5k can get it then ratings will just die, as it's been said the hype is almost gone so just imagine what it will be like in a years time.

The points system needs to be changed to be harsher on losses and bad performances, otherwise you end up with the limit being where a win gets you +5 and a loss gets you -5, which is in exactly the same place for every half decent player. Everyone from ~55% upwards can get to 6k and above if they just play enough battles, skill doesn't have any say in who is at the top

@wind whale In the season (assuming the stats are correct and up to date which might not be the case because if what's happening), and yeah it's pretty small but when there is the cr that's perfect for gaining points as well as being op it's pretty easy to go up. There's also only 1 person over 6k too which is about where it starts to get really tough to go up so the battle spam isn't required too much.

A WHEN A BALANCED MODE BASED ON THE LEVELS OF THE PLAYERS AND NOT ON THE CHANCE FACTOR. A player’s actual rating is based on the 10 balancing battles, then the chance of hitting the right team to up the rank.....

I can’t get why players from one league meet players from higher or lower league in ratings battles. That’s really making rating looks like regular random mode. No any sport mixes pro players with juniors - you must achieve some result with lower league before come to higher and you will not play with players from another league. Why we don’t all start from low points zero rating at the beginning of season? Again, calibrating is a lottery - I have done nice proof of it with two accounts last season.

Getting more players into ratings is very easy: just give them more credits, XP and gold. But WG don't care, so they don't do this.

Also limiting tiers would help a little. Drop tier 7 and possibly tier 8 too. It's certainly enough to have tiers 9 and 10 for Rating.
