You might get terrible teams but if your top of the team every game you might only lose 20 or 30 points for 3, 4, or 5 losses in a row. If you don’t have skill and get terrible teams you will lose a lot more as you won’t be consistently getting top damage, so you’ll end up losing 100 points in only 3 games as an example. I mean how’d you manage to lose 33 points average for 3 games in a row? That is nothing to do with teams, that is from you playing terribly.

Btw, I can say i have quite a high rating, and the only tier i have used premium tanks the most in is tier 8, because i dont have many tier 8 tech tree tanks, i sell them all. Tier 9/10 I’ve played mostly tech tree tanks. Tier 7 is the worst tier to play for ratings, since you’re always bottom tier, and the tier “gap” between tier 7/8 is pretty big.

Those players with a few battles, they don’t have the experience so they also lose but that doesn’t mean they don’t get more wins than otherwise.

Oh I'll tell you why. Mediums and lights will have a significant advantage over heavies and tank destroyers. Tank destroyers would have a significant advantage over heavies. It just wouldn't work. Whoever has either got the most dpm, better armour, or better camo/view range will win. For example, all a obj 140 or 62a has to do is circle and out dpm, done. All a 252u has to do is facehug, won. All a rhm has to do is camp harder than the opponent, and surprise them twice with a big 640 slap, or more. Team reliant tanks will absolutely suffer, while tanks that can afford to be more versatile and are less team dependent will dominate. @ember osprey

Basically there should be another bronze league player, preferably in a heavy, on the enemy side for the best balance.
The rating system should work correctly in this way. Otherwise they might balance the rating of teams on the whole but that doesn’t work in practice as a diamond league player can’t carry 2 silver league players against 2 golden and one platinum league players in most games.

Proof the points system is completely and utterly stupid: after an awful day of 42% WR in ratings I have managed to lose the immense sum of one whole point.
I should have lost loads of points but because it's literally impossible to lose if you just keep spamming games I still managed to stay at the same rating. It is literally just a measure of how many games you can play in ratings not skill at all.

If there’s a problem with too few players in the upper leagues then they need to be resized. And not based on points but on number of players. So each league becomes viable and other leagues are not seen. For example merge platinum and diamond if necessary and thus avoid mixing diamond and gold players.

It's not impossible but those thousand players who are going for 6k now have the incentive of the IS-6 fearless and are constantly grinding ratings. They get a losing streak of 15 and keep playing, but for players who play the game for fun that's just trash. I could get back up to 3k maybe even 4 or 5k rating, but it would be boring, because it's painful to have to try and carry games. The people with 6k are decent players who know what to do when the morons on their team make stupid decisions. But it makes ratings so boring for decent players to play.

Nice balanced teams again, 2 wins in 10 games. Of course the 2 won games were 4K ratings while the others up to 3.5. So it clearly means the system doesn’t balance itself. If you’re lucky to get a higher rating you won’t meet these teams and keep on winning.

@cunning jay the higher you are the less you lose but also less you gain. In my opinion they make it like that to compensate for the MM that you will get when your rating is super high

so you would need to play 50 at t7, 50 at t8, 50 at t9, and 50 at t10 if you wanted to get a camo for each tier
keep in mind you only get the camo for your "favourite" tank (most played)
it is 250,000 credits compensation if you already have the same camo, or can't be put on the tank, like a drac or smasher, for example
