Always same problems always same complaints and they can't sort it out.
It will be always a problem because we win rate is individual but is for a score or mistake of all team.
and this is the most irritating think for us.
That's why it's a lot of hate between all players.
Don't get me wrong but I wouldn't be stressful for losing the battle if I will got rewarded for doing a good job in a battle.
In tier 8 I had over 5000 dmg and got mastery badge for it even lost a battle but is still annoying that win rate is going down.
I have spent over €400 in last 2 years on this game and that's over for me. I said no more because I'm not going to take responsible in my statistics for a fault of all team.

It's a shame that Wargaming don't make allowances for differing Time Zones that players are located in. I have just started playing Ratings Battles but can only play for about two or three hours each day that I actually have some spare time to play. This is because I live in NZ (which is about 4 hours ahead of Singapore time) and play on the Asia server. For me Ratings Battles become available around 9pm each evening. With work commitments meaning I can't stay up all that late, I am heavily restricted in the amount of time when this battle mode is available for play.

Two issues here:
- Nine is just as balanced as ten. Rating seasons could alternate between tier IX and tier X, if for no other reason than to provide variety.
- OP tanks, like certain tier VII and tier VIII premiums, should just be banned outright from rating games. And also apply this rule to any new tanks until their balance is well known.

Does anyone know, is there any consequences for being afk in rated battles? Of course, your team will probably lose and you'll lose credits, and even maybe you be reported so your star rating will go down. But from legal point, wg can't ban you right? Or I'm wrong.

If you repeatedly afk rating battles and get enough reports then yes you could get banned but it is very unlikely

Well, funny thing is, that if someone is unsupporting team, or went afk, and you text him after using... Well, bad language, it's more likely that you can be chat banned, but on other hand "unsupporting" player will be totally fine. That happend to me. Now I'm chat banned. So, I'm thinking now, maybe I should follow rules, and go also afk every battle. Or just play dumb. My rating is high, so I can't go under 5k. Right now I'm on 18th place in Asia server. I really couldn't care less about rating. I only play ratings battles to get missions done. Too much arrogance and insults. Insult me at the start of a battle and I will either do nothing or try to lose, since Military Honor means nothing and losing hurts the guy throwing the insults around. Get rid of ratings missions and maybe we will all be happier.

Here is the only problem with rating missions. At the end of each season, there are 1-2 days on which rating battles are unavailable, During that time you will not be able to complete the missions at any cost related to rating and that is the only problem there is.

Another thing to look at would be - increase the profitability/ rewards for all (more credits would be nice and attractive that simple rating points or avatar that we get after a month)
- limit premiums in rating battles... todays premium tanks are only sold if they are OP. We get that. So why allow them to infect ratings where skill of the player should shine not the size of the wallet

To meme out rating battles i climbed into Diamond league with Sp 1c ... and it was fun to show things aren’t that bad with all the Smashers/252U/wz1Foot/another OP tank out there.
The issue is the shift of vehicles from pure credit grinding to pure dominance. Tier6-8 is where players really start to love the game since everything below it barely has a pulse.
Its not just a issue of OP premiums but the long term affect they bring by pushing customers away cuz they cant get to tier10 while some OP flavor of the month kicks them to death

Well you had a point there but limiting the premium mean slightly decrease variation in battle especially in rating when you should use your skill to play and with much variation mean your skill should be vast
Don't get a wrong idea. I too, feel that in tier 8 the rating dominated by premium, I think it's wrong too since yeah you could just spam WZ-120 and climb Diamond. I think there is better solution for it.
Some tank like Dracula or Type 62 have their special matchmaking categories right? unlike normal LTs/Mts if i not wrong
So how about put something like that to more specific premium like that Smasher or maybe WZ-120

only Pz.B2 and Valentine II (Russian) as far as i know that has differential matchmaking
but i don't recommend Pz.B2 since WG nerfed it when that update happens

Can we possibly extend the time frame when ratings battles are in effect. I work 5 days a week on the NA server, and the ratings battles are only available during normal work hours, so the only time I can take advantage of the ratings battles, are on my 2 days off.

I don't get the censorship when I'm asking legitimate questions. It doesn't make sense to lose 7 rating points on a loss with 1200 damage, and 6 rating points with a 3.4k Valiant Effort.

@inland oyster as i said earlier damage is not the only factor to gain rating points. Check what he did and compare it to what you did. I bet he had capped base(s) and got more victory points from them making him to gain more rating points

I still don’t get why I started at 3100. I just aced the Lowe again in rating, I also played 15 battles in Lowe and I got 424 points. Even in the few losses I gained 30 points XD

Calibration should take in consideration the last rating of the player... The starting rates all start around 3.5k / 4k, which is such a small interval ! It simply feels like a random battle... Kinda frustrating as this is where we should be playing if we'd like to see an improved matchmaking...
