@zinc scarab you can very easily load a 105mm gun with one loader and generally speaking one you get to 120mm and up its usually what's known as two part ammunition which is where the warhead is separate from the case and to load one of those you would put the warhead first then put the powder charges (you can vary depending on target distance) into the case then you slam the case into the breach being careful to not leave any gap or risk detonating the whole thing

as for weathering, you can use weathering chalk, grind it into powder, and then just dust it all over the tank

If you want a mud effect, then you put water on the powder, and then take a piece of paper. then, you put the paper near the tank, use a paintbrush, dip it in the water and flick the water at the tank

Looking at the AMX 30 1re Proto., AMX 30 B, Badger and so on I’d actually say that it’s the other way round

And most of the tier ten non-techtree tanks they have there are actually reward tanks,so it’s very much possible to get a good number of premiums for free with some commitment

The main issue about WoT (PC) is that it has very poor balancing, questionable map design and massive economic issues, partially due to the poor balancing and the +/-2 MM which causes a lot of prammo-spam

So, I gave it some research, courtesy of wargaming.net / worldoftanks.eu (the official site for WoT (PC)) and Blitzhangar (because it counts for me) and the results are pretty clear.

WoT (PC) has 628 tanks listed in it's tankopedia. 204 of which are either premium or reward tanks (which also includes those removed from the techtree).
This means that just under 1/3, or around 32.5% (not that if I'd round it two two digits it would be 32%) of the vehicles in WoT are premium or collectable tanks.

Blitz has about two thirds the number of tanks in total, amounting to 411 tanks in the tankopedia. However, 199 of those are either premium or collectable, resulting in almost half (48.4%) the tanks being in that category.

There is one particular reason for that, and it's called 5.5. But since similar changes are planned on PC, I would like to rerun this calculation with the five higher tiers; starting from six up to tier ten.

I'm still using the same sources, by the way.

So, Blitz has 273 tanks in the margin, that is more or less two thirds of all tanks in the game (66.4%). and is split up into 118 premium and collectable tanks and 155 researchable tanks. That constitutes a percentage of 43.2% of premium or collectable vehicles.

PC places 403 tanks in the field, making that a slightly lower percentage of 64.2% of the total vehicle pool, and those tanks include 149 premium or collectable tanks. Those are 37.0% of the tanks in the regarded area, making it 6.2 percentage points less than Blitz.

Additionally, a number of those tanks are permanently available in long lasting campaigns, in clan wars, frontline and other game modes, which actually lowers the number of tanks behind a paywall. It should be noted however that Blitz does the same with very temporary events, so I would judge that this evens the scores and that in the end PC significantly wins with (relatively) less paywalls

They couldn’t do without their team - even if they are just meatshields. So they obviously rely on them for taking the hits, exposing themselves, driving with them, etc.

One really good player could at most take on three enemies, and he most likely won’t survive it, regardless of the enemy’s skill

Two are manageable when they don’t play together. And anything beyond three can only be hindered, but not stopped unless they stop themselves

So even with +/- 2, good players have to work with their team and rely on their team. I don’t see how the matchmaking spread influences the show of skill, because almost anyone can dominate tanks two tiers lower, and hardly anyone can compete with a tank two tiers higher. Skill just hardly matters with such severe differences in stats

One thing that would actually benefit from +/-2 is position finding skills, good overview and strategic thinking, because that’s literally the only way how you can overcome your enemies with a way worse tank

Maybe the T-54... it's a bit debateable, because if you went through the T54 Ltwt line you have to deal with grinding another gun to get to turret. If you went through the T-44 line you only suffer grinding the turret.

the churchill I could just print out a lot of credits though since it used to have a 143% credit coefficient before that was nerfed down to around 90
