@tired anchor chemical means all rounds the explode not just heat. HE, HESH, HEAT, and ATGM. I WT for top tire chemical rounds are mostly garbage with Kinetic being the only good ones to use so i was wondering if WoT was the same way.

@tired anchor @coarse terrace you both are wrong. Chemical rounds rely on a chemical reaction to penetrate or deal damage to an enemy vehicle. Not all chemical rounds explode. HE/HESH/HEP rounds all explode on impact. An explosion is a chemical reaction. Therefore, they are chemical rounds, because they rely on a chemical reaction to deal damage. HEAT rounds are chemical shells because they rely on the Munroe effect to penetrate armor. By focusing the energy of the inner charge forward, it creates a jet of metal particles (usually copper), that is forced forwards by the pressure behind it and punches through the armor. Because it relies on a chemical reaction, HEAT shells are chemical shells.

AP/APCR and any of the sabot/fin stabilized/ballistic capped variants are kinetic rounds, as they rely on the kinetic energy generated by the explosive propellant to be able to penetrate armor.

Yeah chemical rounds are Basically Heat, high explosive, high explosive time fuse, high explosive grenade, rockets, shrapnel, HESH, heat fs, Heat fs proximity fuse, atgms, high explosive anti tank grenade, and surface to air missiles.

Chemical energy shells deal damage based on a chemical reaction, and unlike kinetic shells, their ability to penetrate and deal damage are unaffected by the shell's velocity. This means that target distance often doesn't affect the round's effectiveness. However, this also means that enemy tanks spaced and composite armour can be way more effective at preventing the damage, depending on the shell type used. Many chemical shells utilise extremely sensitive fuses and will detonate upon touching anything, while almost none of them can be fired through solid obstacles. Many chemical rounds have a very low muzzle velocity, reducing their effective range but allowing the user to launch them over terrain.- wt

More people to kill + more time to do it + a larger map, yes there is room to progress faster but if you are a new player it is gonna be slow like blitz since most people you are playing against already know the mechanics and good spots to hide depending on your map

Not sure what it’s specifically called. But I just use this. It’s pretty old now but still works good, not that much flaws with it.

I may have to abort on the working tracks, I’ve been thinking about it and the tracks wouldn’t even work. The cardboard wheels aren’t strong enough to pull cardboard tracks, plus, nothing would be even moving the wheels for the tracks to even move.

#

The only option I could make the tracks work it to get technology into it.

@vapid swift i don't think so. their are many games with the iron cross but not the swastikas'. As the iron cross was a German symbol before Hitler it was just Hitler brought back the iron cross from some time or something like that. HOI4 for example has the Iron cross on tanks in the game but its still allowed in Russia. And Russia doesn't have anything Nazi related. I think what I'm getting at was that the swastikas' was a specific Nazi symbol while the Iron Cross had historical significance before the Nazi were a thing.

how optical sound works is even cooler

#

It works by imprinting a small section of film with an image of the motion pictures soundtrack via means of a small lightbulb that flashes to the beat of the sound,

To play the sound the projector has a light sensitive photo-cell that picks up the movements in the light coming through the gaps in the sound wave and then an amplifier starts reproducing them into an audio signal!

Okay so just saw this guy in a battle with 70.89 winrate having 13k battles played. But looking at his profile i see he played 1 battle on t22 medium but he have 29 mastries and some 49 ist class on this tank? Can somebody explain to me this. Thank you

You need 25k battles, and 50% winrate minimum.

Contact a Moderator in game on your server (In this case Iraik, Spartacus, or Frostbite for example)

Then they'll pass word up Wargaming staff to give you the role @shut moth
