The T34 bundle is pretty decent. If you don't have much on your account, 5500 for a tier 8 premium is a fair price, especially since it comes already decked out, and 30 days prem is a nice bonus
The tank itself is ok if you like hull down tanks. It's nothing special, but it'll get the job done, and high penetration means you won't have to shoot gold

If you like to be more aggressive, then german mediums are perfect, decent armor (mostly on Panther 1 and E50M), good max speed and very nice cannons
But if you prefer something more focused on speed or hull down, then Asiatic mediums are good options

Front turret , middle turret and back turret designs , turreted tankhunter design and fixed tankhunter designs
Some turret designs where tested on bunkers to test the war ability of those designs
How about a nice premium version E100 with a rear turret and the 170 mm pak , the turret design may be more like vk90.01 , weak from the backside but hard to take from the front
Perhaps give it a bit better reload time as the jpz E100 to make it an alpha predator

If you want a medium, go for E50M, it's simple and very good, fast, precise, well armored and with a great DPM
If you want a TD then it depends of your playstyle, but Grille is a good option for snipers/campers, while you can be a bit more aggressive with Jag E100 @shadow vortex

Grind through the pain that is the Cent 1, and overtime just save up the credits to restore the T26E4.
It's not really worth selling one tank to get another back because you'll eventually grind out the rest of a line anyways.

@pseudo heath relly depends. KV-2 is a really good oneshot tank if you're lucky. KV-1S probably one of the most awfull DPM with the big gun. The armor is pretty easy to penetrate. And KV-2's can HE your lower plate and your sides. Meanwhile KV-2 is slow. Long reload and bad armor as well. It's really up to you. KV-2 is more fun KV-1S is more like a fast medium tank, not so much fun

It's not broke in my opinon. All you need to do is to use gold for the turret. Because the turret is pretty strong against most of heavies AP shells. The turret is around 230mm. Most AP shells can't penetrate it. But gold can easyilly penetrate it as AP shells doesn't have 20mm extra pen. This is for most heavy tanks. The armor is good at the front but not broke. Sides are one of the strongest features with a good gun and gun depression. I noticed it's really easy to track and damage the tank. And the blocky turret makes it a little tricky to play it against more than one enemy.

Well the Chinese definitely require some finesse, and the Russian heavies, specifically the IS7 line, are regarded as the easiest line to grind in the game for an average t10 heavy, and the IS4 line is a more difficult line for arguably the best t10 heavy

@rapid orchid Comet is quite a capable medium, high rof and good mobility with some armor, not that much armor but its good when angled, coupled with good gun depression angles it becomes a capable medium in the right hands, i played the tanked and i loved it, especially in uprising
Challenger is like your usual glass (but not really) tank destroyer, thin armor but a good gun and quite nice consumables that allow the tank to do things others would dream of, like absorb more damage than before, reach positions faster, its all up to you which line you should choose
Comet for medium tank gameplay, or the Challenger for TD gameplay, depends on what you're good at

Both AMX 50 100 and 50 120 are deadly. They can annihilate any tank with less than 1k health in seconds. You just need to play them more like supports rather than classical heavies and most people who play them aggressively think they suck.

Really depends on the line you want to go down, but the 1S is a much better tank. Kv-2 has the "meme factor" because of the powerful 152mm, but it is massive, slow, unreliable, and gets focused. Kv-1S is faster, has better armor, and a much better (but still powerful) 122mm gun.

just curious about what everyone's thoughts are on the VK 30.01 D? I won't say I am an AMAZING player... (54.5% on 6500 battles) I also don't think it is THE BEST medium tank in its tier... but I do love how it has a decently well balanced gun... (the 75mm guns at t6 are a nice balance USUALLY of damage and rate-of-fire) and pretty great mobility.... or it feels like it has great mobility.... so I definitely like it.... but I wonder if I am an outlier on that...

Skipped the top turret with free exp (12k) since I had already unlocked the L/70 by researching the VK 36. Felt a bit sluggish at the start but fully upgraded the mobility is good.

I spent my last game in it chasing a Y5 Firefly around... he kept trying to get around the flanks of my team but as soon as he'd pop up I'd be right on him and eventually he just sat in the open shooting (and missing) at me, and just let a KV2 get an easy shot....

@brittle atlas depends on the tank destroyer, the american tank destroyers generally Frontline/second line support, and almost always are within spotting range.
Jageroo is effectively the same way but is Frontlining more often.
Grille 15 is just gross because it doesn have enough of anything to do something, you should try to snipe in it, but be warned about the camo rating and dispersion upon hull traverse.
The FV215b 183 belongs solely on the second line the camo is bad enough that it can't snipe and it should be close enough where accuracy and shell velocity are not an issue. But you can't Frontline in it due to the reload and lack of effective armor.
268 is a balanced tank in where it can be, it's effective as a sniper (though the shell velocity is a tad bit low), it's mobile enough and has good enough armor for second and Frontline, but I would recommend only Frontlining against medium tanks.
263 is just awkward right now, it doesn't have a place in the Meta and didn't really have one before. The best bet is to aid mediums on the Frontline with it but that's about the best it can do.
Ho-Ri is effectively a better 263 as the alpha is much better and the penetration is the best in the game, not the highest on paper but in practice the best. I personally do any of the 3 positions and try to go for the heaviest armored target possible since Ho-Ri specializes in anti-heavy.
Foch 155 is an aggressive tank that should be Frontline or second line depending on personal comfort, the gun is a bit innacurate which can make long range a challenge if chosen. The armor is fantastic as is the mobility.

@pliant viper Just play it like you would any medium with a troll turret. You have the mobility to flank, high DPM, and ofc the autoloader, it's a great support tank, just don't try to frontally brawl heavies. Also, you'll have to spam some HEAT
And since the clip reload is like the same speed as an IS-3 or 252U, always reload, and always make sure you have 3 shells. No point in holding shots

Jg Pz E 100 is worth it, imo. It's not absolute crap/needs lots of experience to play correctly unlike Grille, but compared to that tank which is a statistically poor TD on paper, it can hold a spot well because it has armor, and the gun has very good dispersion at 100m for its caliber. Only downside is that it's slow to rotate and can't move quickly.

@simple stirrup I disagree that the full turret is almost useless on the WT PZ 4. Having a turret that fully traverses allows you to be a lot more flexible, and, frankly, is one of the big reasons why the WT PZ 4 is so good. Keep in mind turning your turret doesn't effect your concealment, and that moving your hull in way, shape, or form, does. On top of that, not needing to turn the entire tank to face a target to shoot it means you can retreat a lot easier than non-turreted TD's since you can point your tank front behind you and scoot away once you fire. The problem is that the Grille doesn't have that functionality and doesn't have enough to make up for it. If the Grille had much better concealment and better penatration than what it could currently has, then I'd consider it to actually be on par with the WT PZ 4.

I'm really not sure what your trying to get at here. The gun's elevation and depression arcs matter a lot more in this particular case, and a fully traversable turret has no difference in gun elevation/depression arcs if they are the exact same. The WT PZ IV might have a poor gun elevation with the 15cm, but the elevation on the 12.8cm is absolutely insane.

I am really confused here. The gun is facing backwards while the tank is on an incline, correct? The gun's elevation would come into play while targeting any tanks on an incline in that area where the gun is facing backwards, the fully traversable turret doesn't matter here. Besides, that would factor in any tank with a fully traversable turret. Would you say that a T-22 Medium's turret being able to traverse fully is useless?

You aren't making any sense here. If the tank's turret is facing backwards on a flat field, it's going to be able to shoot higher than the ground unless it has 0 degrees of gun elevation. It will be able to hit a target behind the tank because the gun's arc, excluding it's depression, is unaffected when it is at any angle of the turret's traverse while on a flat surface.

But it still has degrees of elevation on the gun when the turret is facing the rear, it's just highly reduced since the front of the tank is much higher up than the back. Either way, that fully traversable turret has so many advantages that one small disadvantage in that situation doesn't render the fully traverseable turret useless. Besides..if it's an issue, just turn your hull around and wait for your turret to traverse back.

..No? I still disagree that you'll almost never find that situation. Your gun depression still works just fine, so you can turn your tank around, roll up going backwards with your gun facing the enemy, then peek-a-boom and use your tank's frontal acceleration to quickly pull back.

Thats just completely RNG or the player is just too good at aiming and predicting your movement making it that your Cupola got hit by him.
And yes 30B is quite troll whenever people try to shoot your Cupola while you're moving quite a lot, but they're just more focused on it since when they hit it, it'll usually pen quite easily.

For some reason I’ve never been able to pen the flat side of an E75 TS with a Type 62, but it works for other tier 7 mediums. That too on AP. Only the turret is pennable on the side

I defs enjoyed the T1... but honestly.... prem ammo and careful aiming are plenty enough to deal with it even when in a T4 (assuming the decent, for tier 4-5, 76mm's damage output doesn't get you first) I do think it MIGHT be doing a bit too well for its tier, although when it gets into a T6 match it is kinda underwhelming.... so maybe not.... .-.

i dont have the is7 but from what i remember i think you should try to hide your lower front plate
also you can try reverse sidescraping but i dont think it works as well as it does in the is3
