It also has some of the worst survivability at tier 10. It can't use it's DPM too terribly often especially in a Heavy tank meta where heavies focus on trading shots over brawling.

It is a good tank to teach you to be a better player. It punishes you for making mistakes, but can deliver many good games

Leo PTA is trash and that's all there is to it.
Your clanmate likely used free EXP to immediately upgrade it. Without it the PTA is arguably the worst grind in the entire game.

But, once I got it upgraded after playing stock, I found it to be a decent tank

I will admit there are some stock grinds I am unwilling to do (the stock mauschen engine was a pain), but that doesn’t mean all stock grinds are just total pain

@solid gate T34 is not good..It may be effective but its reload time is very high comparing to the normal heavy american tanks like T32, T32 does 350 and its reloading time is 11.5 sec unlike the T34....

T20 and persh are meh or bad really (I liked them both but I'm weird) and the M48 is very much out of its depth at tier 10 rn, it's probably a decent line for learning but not very rewarding
The Japanese meds are a nightmare until the tier 10 so not a good grind, the E50M line is probably the best atm

Panther is just broken, panther 2 is a good teacher about how to play a med and is fairly rewarding, E50 shows you a taste of the E50M but slowed down so you it's easier to learn, and the the E50M which is brilliant

To put that in perspective it has exactly the same reload as is5 and glacial, with a better reload than the is6 pen gun. It also has REALLY good pen, making it almost never need gold.
And the gun on the t32 is pathetic compared to the t34
