Its performance doesn't really change much regardless of whether it is top or bottom tier.
Everyone still shoots reg rounds which bounce often on the mantlet. The hull is paper for everyone. Your dpm is just as bad in a tier 7 match as in tier 9. Only difference is mediums get a higher alpha 310-350 in tier 9 matches

nah even tier 7 td can go through my mantlet. Almost everyone go through except some mediums or lights. It's bad. I realized doing hulldown with pershing just fine with tier 7. In tier 8 just work a bit and need to play it as a support tank like t20. And in tier 9 can't do anything. Being a t20 but just some more armor that everyone can go through and slower bruh

Maus is one of the best heavy tanks at tier ten.
But you need to understand how to angle the hull and turret, wiggle etc to be truly proficient in it

The IS7 is more ‘beginner friendly’ because the line consists of tanks with the pike nose hull. This means that you should not be angling, and you should just keep your front straight on at the enemy
The IS7 isn’t an amazing tier ten though, but its fine for random battles

Honestly, Mauschen annoys me, it’s a decent tank don’t get me wrong but the giant bloody soft spot in the dead of the tank makes it such a pain, but then you have tanks like the E75 that don’t seem to have such a flaw, I’m honestly of the opinion that that weak point needs to have something done with it, especially when you go against other heavies that rarely show that flaw

They already have the Kranvagn line coming. The EU line is the newest nation to be added. It will have a few tanks for some time. They have a bunch of lines they can add though, so it’ll look good in the future
Artillery wouldn’t work so well, and would just be a big nuisance like atgms are. The maps are smaller so artillery get spotted more easily and can’t even do much.

@analog reef You should always be looking to hide your hull on ridgelines. Just be aware that your cupola is an easy pen and can be HE’d.
Also, like other high tier British heavy tanks, the Mk.6 works best as a medium support tank. Look at utilising your mobility and HP by running with your mediums whenever you can, rather than just going with your heavies and trying to fight superheavies straight on.
As general advice, just remember its very easy to HE the Mk.6 via the cupola as stated already, but if you reveal your side armour, your engine deck at the back of the hull can also be HE’d

Either way Helsing was a Halloween tank and is now found in crates normally (special crates) and was last sold for an actual number of gold during the Christmas auction, Smasher has only been sold for crates recently that I’m aware of. Drac is a very fun tank, weighs 30 tons and has the 2nd fastest acceleration for fast tanks I think (LTTB accelerates a little faster) and I don’t own the hellsing or lycan so won’t comment on those.

The lycan is brilliant, same gun as the IS but 10° depression and almost impenetrable turret armour even to tier 8s. The hull armour is also manageable if you wiggle and it can sidescrape a bit too, and it's also not slow for a heavy

The tank was so good, it was common for every tier ten game to have 4 deathstars.
The alpha of the tank will always make it difficult to balance, and its potential alpha makes for obnoxious gameplay - which is why the 4005 didn’t get the 183mm also.

It pretty much is for the most part. However, on Fort Despair I today I was going to camp in the usual spot but moved up a bit to take shots on the person capping B. Could argue I got lucky as ISU-152 missed me once when I wasn’t even paying attention to him. At least I thought he shot at me. Second time his HE hit the hill between me and him. JT 8.8 also missed an HE shell. I did not miss my shots though.

AS in most effective? That would be the Mark V which was a development of the Mark IV with an improved gearbox. Easier to drive and freed up two crew for other jobs.
With two 57mm guns and four machine guns it was quite well armed.
The 330hp Mark VIII with two cannon and seven machine guns was still at prototype stage at the end of the war. So we shouldn't count that. Nor the Gun Carrier Mark I with either 60-pounder gun or 5-inch howitzer as it's self propelled artillery not a tank.

Hey folks. I figured I would start a general thought process of decision making of different vehicles into the game. First, we have the ZiS-30 (which is in War Thunder). I thought this would be a perfect vehicle for a Tier IV Russian TD. The reason I say Tier IV is because it’s gun has one of the highest penetration rates and rates of fire. Because firefly has a better pen than crom, firefly has slightly better armor than crom as well, but the mobilization, crom is in the lead. Both has horrible gun depression, crom would likely have much better view ports, but firefly has more hit-points. Many choose the firefly, like many of my friends, but @torpid venture, I would choose the crom, in fact. I do have the crom

Firefly is more of a passive medium, playing almost like a td. The gun is really the only strength. Crommie has great speed, flexibility, and a decent gun. It is a much better choice.

and if I could do more than 310 with my current module, I would have said okay. But the max damage I've ever dealt was 2.5k damage in a battle. I did 3.5k with a tiger p on the other hand

Just grind properly the german TD’s. The StuG III Ausf. G has good camo, a good gun and good mobility. The Jagdpanzer IV has stupid dpm. The Jagdpanther is simply a medium that gets everything but a turret. I currently am loving the Jagdpanther II and will soon get myself the Jagdtiger

By the way, how is the VK 28.01 bad? I still have it in my garage. It has pre-nerf Sheridan’s mobility, good pen, good accuracy and pretty decent hull armor. The Jagdpanzer E100 doesn’t really fit in the meta imo, it’s slow, huge and any gold can bypass the armor. For the Ferdinand, I simply would play the Jagdpanther II instead. If I had to play it it would be with full modules.
Just don’t play it until you have enough free exp. It’s as simple as that. Make sure you are using equipment aswell

I think I will stop for a while at the T9. I want the Jagdtiger after it’s armor buff, has an excellent gun and 4k dpm. I doubt the Jagdpanzer E100 is as good tier for tier and therefore buying the tank is not in my priorites list. It remains your choice after all.
To get free exp, just use boosters, premium account and watch ads everydays. It makes a difference. Aside from that, just play

Look the historical context, sweden developed this tank because the country is full off mountains, hulldown is the best option possible to a tank survive in those conditions, also, turret is the only strength on kranvagn, the hull and sides are very very weak, so, if u remove the only tank strength, why play it? @supple coyote I had so much fun in my T-34-85 .....for the longest time I was convinced it was better than the T-43, it just seemed so sluggish when i first got it....but now that I've upgraded it pretty much fully I really like it a lot....the super short reload time is amazing, speed is pretty good, armor is nice i get plenty of front plate bounces, and even a few bonus back end bounces....

We are now on tank #2 that Wargaming is greedily putting in as a Crate Tank rather than in the Tech Tree. I think we were quite lucky that we were able to get away with not having to pay for the FV4005. Now the SConqueror and the Badger, two tanks that should be in the tech, are being sold for money. @median vapor Hard to say. KV-1 is harder to side scrape with now than it used to be. In fact they nerfed it a bit too much imo and overbuffed T1 Heavy. So with that I’d say Pz IV if that thing wasn’t meh in some ways.

I played tier 5 today after a long time, so I could grind the tanks for the Kranvagn. Didn’t expect the KV1 to be that weak lol. Usually with any medium I just don’t bother firing if they’re angled, and only shoot the sides when it’s quite flat. Now I can pen it quite easily. The front is weak too. Its weird now fighting those and penning so easily

Yeah. They overdid the side armor nerf making the sides as weak as the rear millimeters wise and they nerfed the accuracy to a degree. The accuracy nerf was unnecessary. KV-1 isn’t fun anymore. T1 Heavy is the tank to go for now.

Yea. The front is impossible to pen except for a tiny strip. Prammo only makes that tiny strip larger. Most of the time I just focus that tank because everyone else in the team only bounces it. Even the turret is OP. I thought I could pen it if the turret was turned a bit but it’s not possible. This is with a medium though. Maybe a TD can do better against it

IS6 Fearless (even though currently available) is definitely rarer, Hydrostat is 100% rarer, Hafen and Lozas sherman weren't bought by almost anyone because of their price tag not being worth the tank so the are possibly rarer. I don't really think you understand how many people bought the tank the two (possibly more) times it was available in the store

here is why I think hydro is rarer than KV220. KV220 was sold for a while a few updates before 5.5 when it was completely broke. A crap ton of people bought it because every single youtuber advertised it as OP (which it was). after the 5.5 KV220 was sold once again (if not mistaken) where probably more people got it considering its past glory. Hydro was sold after 5.5 and since it wasn't anything spectacular I doubt more people bought it that the KV.

I think Droodles or somebody has this happen during a video they were making with live battles. Or you just mean they can see without having to turn the camera.

13 75 is way better for it's tier than how 13/90 works on tier 8. Just for a few pen, we have to trade a longer reload. The dpm of the 13 90 is also lesser. The turning speed and the average speed also differ very little. Sadly, even if we get to the batchat, we still have to grind for the tier10 gun. And still it gets outclassed by vickers lol

Being on the bridge is quite risky which is why you dont see people do that.
You can get shot from med flank, you run the risk of enemies coming through mid, then sitting below you and shooting you in the side.
Putting yourself on the bridge also makes it very hard to get out if the enemies start making advances etc
