@regal zealot I stand by my point. Cent 1 absolutely needs to have worse DPM than Caern, by 200 seems ok. The reason here is that Cent is far more nimble, especially the 20kph reverse speed is VERY noticeable. Furthermore, it does have the same turret, and while Caern has better hull armour, it's nowhere near worth the extra mobility of Cent

Having just played the Cent recently, I'll even go ahead and say it's quite good when upgraded. The reason in my opinion why it's So bad stat wise is that there is a long grind for the gun and mobility upgrades

Thinking about this, this makes Panther 2 far worse. P2 upgraded doesn't offer that much over Panther 2 unupgraded, and even then it's the worst stat tank at T8

2. The Type 58 has a second cupola, weaker pen and a slightly lower hp/t ratio compared to the T-34-85
3. The JPanther II, since the Ferdinand is pretty bad
4. They both lead to pretty different tanks, you should make the choice based on your playstyle
5. KV-1S, since the KV-2 line will eventually lead to the ST-I, which will be a horrible grind without the 122mm BL-9 from the IS-3

it has better raw hull armour at 200, but at tier 8 it's kind of useless, not to mention the lower plate. The ferdinand has a flat and gigantic 200mm superstructure, while the JPanther II has a very well sloped 150mm superstructure with a large autobounce zone near the mantlet

Yeah but the problem is that superstructure on JP II isn’t gonna get shot at. The hull will and the hull is ridiculously hard to hide without hindering your ability to shoot back. It’s so weak. And don’t bring up mobility. That’s not a saving grace. Relocate they say. Yeah, get shot up anyway. Both suck to be honest just in different ways.

Ferdi needs better cheek armor while JP II needs better camo rating or better hull armor.

I played the tank and did really well, the biggest problem i could see with the Jp2 was it's gun depression which confines it to flat ground battles, the hull armor is good enough and if you can hull down it's amazing at it.

I couldn’t ever “hull down” that thing worth a darn. Hated it more than Ferdi though Ferdi also sucked after my first few battles in that tank too. That is the last time I played the 2.

Also arguably we already have Archer in the Angry Connor. Plus the only other British TDs we lack are Achilles and a couple of premium ones from PC.

You can actually hull down on himmelsdorf and I had my highest damage game doing just that on the heavy route at 3,9k damage 5 kills. When there is no opportunity to hull down you use your mobility to run and be the big damage support for your mediums.

Eh I don’t know. I hate the JP II so much don’t look forward to trying it again too much. It’s one of my worst tanks to play. In all fairness I personally wouldn’t care if they removed it from the game and buffed the Ferdi. In fact Ferdi I think is more similar to the JadgTiger than JP II.

It kinda does but I think LTTB and Drac are slightly worse about drifting.

The only time I had trouble with M41 drifting badly was in Uprising because it went upwards of 90-100kph. Ridiculous.

Well tech tree Hellcat can’t go as fast as irl version because it gets the Jackson’s 90mm gun.

That gun would weigh it down more. Plus it is for balancing purposes. Well the Hellcat turret cannot turn very well but the hull is good on traverse.
