Doctor Clef, the t71 is nice. I loved it before the buff and felt that the buff was unnecessary. Anyways t71 has an excellent gun, like a combination of amx 13 75 and german guns(nearly). it is small and all but being an autoloader it does lack dpm with low alpha. It is great tank but not nearly as good as lets say a bulldog or lttb imo

Definitely the IS6. It is most certainly the best tank in T8 for sure. Most definitely stay away from Lowe, it is absolutely not the best choice for a premium tank

@hollow mango It depends on what you Like to play.You get a med with no armor and the canon with 400 alpha. If you Like meds with high alpha it's something for you because this is cheaper than grinding and enriching a T-44 .

KV-2 is a lottery with the 152mm derp. If you are really lucky it'll work for you. If you're like me and tend to roll low it's horrible but put the 107mm on it and it's actually quite good.

KV-1S is good when fully upgraded. Fast, Not very well armoured.

Depends what do you want first?

Ru 251 isn't very newbie friendly, and I don't know how much you've played.

VK 100 isn't as good as it once was but it still has its applications in tier 8, and has decent hull armor and a good Turret.

E 75 is a great tank, it's a good all-rounder with its mobility, armor and fire power, but the tank after (E 100) isn't quite as good.

I played against some VKs before, as long as that small lower plating is hidden, it's feels like a Tiger 2 after buff.

VK100 is nowhere near good. Terribly slow, LFP gets penned by T7 meds with AP, cupola gets penned by T7 meds with APCR, and your DPM sucks. I say get E75, but make sure to free xp top turret, it makes a HUGE difference

E75 is my second favorite heavy tank. Absolute monster in tier 9. I was wanting to go for the Maus, but when I got to Mauschen, I found the tank to be lackluster and I never had support. The weakened the lower plate a bit much on it and I feel it doesn’t compete well. I could be looking at it all wrong though.🤷🏻‍♂️

@long ether I've been playing the SP IC in ratings this season. It works best at spotting, trading 2 shots and running. The single shot is probably a better gun by itself but it doesnt fit with the playstyle imo. If you keep watching reloads, flanking and making short runs on reds where you get drive by and unload 2 shots you should do fairly well. (Also dont take it into ratings, it doesnt go well)

Sounds like its going well so far. I guess the autoloader vs single shot is mostly personal preference, but i feel like the 2 shot clip fits the playstyle better. There are times when i wish i had the dpm but those are mostly when i am way out of position.

Yeah looking at stats the stock gun doesnt seem too bad. Just one thing to watch out for with the top guns is the horrific shell velocity, especially on HE.

Play it like a single shot tank, the VK28.01, I have faith in you that with time you can improve.
This may be a barrier at first, but trust me I went leopard 1 line as my first line, not really recommended in general since it's a harder tank, but the RU really helps in setting me up for Leo 1, better than the indien panzer line.

Your penetration is decent, but you work best flanking and hitting the sides and back of tanks, there is also where you can use the HE.
You can poke ridges but just do it for spotting, not to do damage, unless you can angle your tank such that your tank is sideways when poking ridges cause your gun depression would increase a lot, try to find targets that are not looking at you and you can do that by pulling back wait a few seconds and going a long way since you have speed to flak the enemy
