As for the topic on how a maus player angles his turret, it's pretty simple.
Sidescrape around a corner and turn your turret at an angle to ensure no shots go through. Move the tank back and forth, and wiggle the turret a little. This will bait the enemy into firing a shot as they think your armour is at a flatter angle, but the movement of the turret ensures your turret is angled the before the shot actually hits, giving the maus an opportunity to fire. Same goes for the E-100. The maus can do this better due to the smaller lower plate.

@median oak I struggle with it. My lowest win rate Tier 9 tank. Tier 9 is a struggle anyways, because it is underpopulated and you end up mostly in T10 battles. The problem with the K-91 is the huge front plate they is an easy pen and the long clip reload time, they makes it difficult to use the autoloader as such against mostly superior tanks (Tier 10). . At least that’s my take of it.

Mathilda tier 4 needs a Shell dmg Buff. Against tier 5 heavies it is useless. It is dealing out 40-45 dmg alpha and gets back 120-160 dmg alpha.

I am pleasantly surprised by the Type 59. I got it recently taking this 7.5k golf offer and while many consider it get power-crept, I found it to be better than I thought. I think on increase in pen would help it a bit against the more heavily armored tanks around, but overall I found it to be quite effective.

it has decent armour. The turret is strong, except for the weak cupola on the left side of the turret that is really poorly protected. The hull is (meh), LTs and MTs might struggle to pen you but equal tier tanks will cut it open. The side and rear is just sad and weak

Kpfpz is to be used like a TD or support since WG insists to not buff the reload. Cut at least one second off it for heaven's sake, the gun is ok enough (too many low rolls anyway). The point is, a German 128 mm does better than its American 152 mm gun. The armor consists in the gun mantlet which can repel anything but the tank is to be used smartly. People shoots always prammo to pen it anyway. I suggest to WG this: is this tank a hybrid American/German project right? The American driven one was armed with the 152 mm gun ok, but there was a German version armed with a Rheinmetall 120 mm, so it could give more pen and DPM at the price of less alpha. Two guns, like the Jagdtiger 8.8, IS-6 or KV-5

I think I'm going to wait until mad games before grinding anymore on the tortoise. Past 17 games I've lived once, and have lost 15 of them. (Spread across days). I just cannot get this tank to work right. I'm mostly against tier X and get shot before a single enemy is spotted (often from across the map. And in some games like dead rail I'm smacked before i can leave spawn.

As long as you keep an eye on what you're shooting at, 181 pen is actually pretty workable for a tier 8 MT. Anything that shows even the slightest hint of red I'll either shoot at another place or load apcr. The type 59 also has garbage dpm with a 8.3s reload with rammer and full prov, so as a MT I'd rather boost my dpm as much as possible

Hey, will chieftain T95 every get a buff to that huge cupola?? It basically negates the playstyle of the tank, as it is a gun depression heavy... It should become smaller, like that of an m103 or T34, so that it is at least hidden while hulldown..

Its already got fantastically armoured turret and a pretty good armoured hull so I dont know if it really should have its main weak point removed when hull down using gd

Not exactly removed, but could be made smaller, like tiger P size, so that it is hidden while at -10 degrees, right now T49s can HE pen it across the map, and I was able to snapshot it twice in a row driving the Obj252u, and that tank has horrific gun handling lolz😂

The 128 seems useless to me. Just less DPM, worse alpha for intimidation, apparently worse depression and the extra pen is a bit over the top

I gave it try. Noticed immediately that taking out big tanks took too long. Low rolling in the 300s in a tier 10 game is just ridiculous. The big boy turns the game into your team’s favor which tends to be a massive benefit. I liked the immediate accuracy and penetration, but lacked to assist teammates effectively. The 150mm just does the job better.🔥
