@solid gate Basically stop shooting HE at tanks with armour.
Use your sniper mode if you’re unsure if it can pen or not. It wont do full damage if the tank is bright yellow

HE shells have really low pen, but if they don't pen the armor, they'll usually do some minimal splash damage. way better to shoot AP, its more reliable. only shoot HE at very low armored tanks like the sides and rears of light tanks, at German paper TD's, the rears of most American tanks, the rears of most mediums, and so on

dont even think about shooting HE at a heavy unless its a British or American heavy, and you're shooting at the rear. you'd only shoot HE at the front of a heavy with a big derp gun because you just need to finish a really low health tank, where the splash damage will also get the kill

Amx cdc is a bad tank? lmao, one of my fav tiers 8. Ru251 is 1k times worse than amx cdc for doing peek a boom. because ru251 is a flanker. it's made to go straight at 80km. amx cdc has amazing closely instant acceleration speed for both forward and backward, also super huge pen gun for a light tank, and also very nice min. accuracy. most tier 8 meds are less accurate on the move than cdc.

all tanks are different. you dont know how to use amx cdc.
if you know how to use ru251, doesnt mean you can use every no armor tank. surely not.

Ohhhhh. Well personally leopard 1 is considered one of the worst tier X’s atm. It just doesn’t have the survivability the other meds have. Tier 9 has trash gun depression, 5 degrees. ROF is ok and pen is great. Tier 8 RU is really good if you know how to play lights. The sides of the RU have more gun depression btw. Tier 7 is absolute garbage if you’re going to free xp anything make sure it’s that one. Vk28.01 isn’t what it used to be. But it’s ok I guess.

@near forge I’d say the Jackson is a better tank overall, but it can be a bit difficult to play, the hellcat is a bit easier, but it’s definitely a weaker tank, all in all it depends on your play style, if you want a faster and maneuverable tank, go with the hellcat, if you want a sniper/support tank with some armor get the Jackson. They both have good guns. But the Jackson can aim better.

There’s 2 ways to add it, either add a camo making system in the game itself, or let them use external sources. You can guess the problem with the external sources. Hitskins and unfiltered stuff will get in the game. Some skin mods are already there which are allowed in the game.
As for an in game system, again my first point comes in, the effort of adding an entire camo making system, which will still be limited because WG will decide what goes in it. And that made still be unsatisfactory for people.

Indeed the fact that people won’t buy it comes in too. And the fact that you’ll have 14 randomly colored haphazard as hell tanks driving around. Imo that goes against the aesthetic of the game too. But that’s a personal thing.

But who knows. Maybe WG will add something like that. I don’t think there’s anything close to that coming soon though.
But I’m just a player, the Devs and experts know better.

@jade nimbus i mean its not totally useless. You can bully tier 7s with the hull. But unfortunately nowhere else. Its really the same case with the is8 except the sides of the hull are more trollish. Its only until is7 when you dont get a pike nose that isnt that effective.

If you wanted a truly armoured line you should have probably done the maus line.

Also looking above the channel, the t-34 didnt have a good cannon really. The gun quickly became ineffective against german tanks, hence the fitting of the 85mm.
Honestly its overrated not really ‘legendary’. Horrible reliability issues with badly skilled crews. They were only successful because they produced so many as it was a simple tank and easy to manufacture.
And of course if you’re going to fight a kv2 you’re not going to come out well. You’re going against (most likely) a 152mm cannon.
Its best not to compare real life to blitz.

Training rooms are made by players themselves to do certain things. I don’t think there’s dedicated training rooms for you to go to and learn anything. And I don’t know about EU, but no one in Asia is nice enough to just set up classes. That being said, you can ask a friend who’s a good player to make one and help you learn something.

@brisk spear Use the gun depression and try to go hull down whenever possible. Frontlining on the tank on maps like mines can be extremely effective.
Just always keep your front to the enemy and never try to fight two flanks.
It has a good gun with good frontal armour with enough gun depression to handle some ridgelines
