E-75 is definitely better than the VK 45.02B. I ground out the VK 45.02B during the mad games event in preparation for the new VK 72.01k. That grind drove me mad. The VK B is so slow at everything. Slow movement, slow traverse, slow at killing stuff, etc...

For the KV-1S, the preferred playstyle is the peek a boom. Pick your shots wisely as you have a very long reload. The gun handling is really bad, but it’s manageable. Gun depression is unusually good for a Russian HT. Only poke out when ready to fire, then pull back. It’s quite a mobile tank and can fill a pseudo-medium role if the situation calls it.

It’s a tad bit more sluggish than the T-150. Stock turret is quite trash, upgrade to the top turret ASAP. Side hull armor is the same as the T-150, so you need to be more careful while sidescraping. The 122mm gun boasts a lot of alpha, but suffers greatly in terms of gun handling and DPM. The 100mm gun is much more stable to use, but loses 120 alpha off the 122, but gains in DPM

Good for you. The tank, while not that popular, is a powerful tank in the right hands. Rely on your turret for sidescraping, it’s conical shape makes it quite troll and bounces shells with relative ease.
If you like the KV-3, you’ll love the KV-4, aka the KV-Fortress, as it is a very viable super heavy.

Best line to grind for starters would be the IS-line. They teach the basics of Heavies.
What I recommend to avoid though are the British tech tree and the Japanese one. They require very good situational awareness and a great deal of patience, particularly the British HTs from tier V to VII and the AT line. Japs have no armor and have rather lackluster mobility.

That’s not a tank destroyer definition. KV-tanks tend to be more of a fortress. Good armor to absorb shots, can dish out good Alpha too.
Exceptions to this are the KV-1S, KV-2 and the KV-13

The KV-4 grind might be different tho. You might want to either grind with the ZiS-6 107mm gun or the D-25T 122mm gun. Both are viable, but the 107 plays pretty similarly like the top 107mm gun, only that it fires faster and has less pen. Recommend getting CS for either gun, the 122mm gun having better standard shell pen while the 107mm gun has better prammo pen.

For specialization, optics is a no brainer for HTs. I’m still divided between camo and optics on LTs tho. Not necessarily. The Maus is the most armored tank in the game. Despite not having great firepower and shot effectiveness, it’s the armor and HP under survivability makes it a very good meatshield.

It’s not the best tank actually. But it can be a meatshield in a pinch. It’s DPM can burn its enemies to a crisp, it’s long nature prevents it from getting CoD too often. If reverse sidescraping, it can bounce a lot more shots than you expect. It traverses surprisingly quickly too.

No. The rear of an E 100 has 150mm of armor while the hatch of the E 100 has only 100mm. A BT-7 will struggle greatly against it, especially if it looks up on it, making it 110mm effective @pine mason

The tog has a fast turning turret combine that with your hull traverse you can easily catch up with a circling med. unless you’re in water of course.
