Everything is strong, the matter is how you drive it. My opinion is IS-5 and Lowe for Heavies. Jp2, ISU, and AMX AC 48 for TD. Mod1 and 59 for MT. Ltwt for LT

In the open, you really need to watch out for that lower plate. It’s very weak at tier VIII. But you need to aim properly, lest it hits the tracks instead.
It’s a monster sidescraper, especially if it can hide its cupola.

You really have to hit that very centre of the cupola to even guarantee a pen. Even my Lowe struggles penning that with regular AP, since I was a grub and didn’t want to use APCR...

The Chieftain is basically a medium tank with the mobility it has, it's pretty much the most mobile heavy in the tier and it's as fast as some of the slower mediums

Yeah the M6A2E1 has a turret almost as strong as the T29 but has frontal hull armor stronger than the Tiger (P). Watch out for the side armor though, the 122mm guns can easily pen the sides with HE

It's a scam, but a smart scam. Because they can't flat out nerf prems because selling vehicles for silver isn't worth that much. Thats why collector vehicles are sold for gold. That way, you buy a tank, don't like the nerf? Fine, you can get your gold back

@thorny echo the chieftan is a very good tank. The capola doesn't weaken it as much as you think it does, it's gun is incredibly accurate and the tank has great mobility for a heavy, plus the upper glacis plate is super derpy

Hafen has stupidly good armor for a med, better side armor than front armor. Edelweiss and Nameless have tiny turrets that can bounce shots, Lupus has crazy gun depression

Frontally, the VK 72.01 (K) has more armor than the E 100 and the Maus literally has the same pen as some tier 9 heavies. The E 75 and Mauschen have the same gun as the Maus. The Maus is known for having a bad gun, stop pretending it has a good one. The VK 72.01 (K) doesn't even compare to the Maus as it's just a different tank.
