I’ve never been to Nashville so going to make this a vacation!! So if anyone from there has any good food spots or hotel spots that aren’t stretchy lmk!! I’ve never been there before.

I’m about two hour drive from there, but haven’t spent a ton of time there.
The hot chicken sandwich originated in Nashville at a place called Prince’s Hot Chicken Stack if that’s your thing! I’m a vegetarian, but my hubby went once and loved it.
I know there’s some music related museums. Probably more country stuff, but I imagine that it’s fun.

if you come into/out of nashville via i-40, mckay's is right off i-40 at the edge of nashville! they sell used books, CDs, records, games, movies, electronics, etc. i don't go to nashville super often but i always try to hit mckays if i can!!

The venue has a fair amount of parking garages around it. We saw MGK there in December. I can’t remember how much it was because it was bundled in with our tickets.
I decided to get us a hotel this time though because the time change back home is brutal. We’re in eastern time but the venue is central.

Ok!! Since it’s vip, it cannot be transferred. But! However, that person can enter at the same time as you since you have two tickets and it’s all good.
I went in Dallas and they had me show my ID at the door before we even got in

I was told they did wristbands for both at this venue. This was from someone who saw a show last November and had vip. They may have changed their process in that time. She said it was pretty unorganized because they had everyone line up in order but then realized that there were vip and had them all go up to the front but honored the wristband numbers with the vip. If that makes sense.

I didn’t know what I was getting into. Atlanta wasn’t like this on the last leg. People weren’t as pushy (I expected craziness later not as early as Amira’s set), and Bridgestone security wasn’t as prepared as State Farm. People fell onto security. Security wasn’t properly catching everyone. There were lots of short girls at the front including myself.

Ah I see. Security plays a huge role in maintaining the front of the crowd. Lackluster security definitely attributed a lot to your experience. I've been to a lot of metal shows and festivals and usually the security knows what they're doing and there isn't much drama at the front. I have a few friends who go to Bridgestone a lot and told me after the show that it's the biggest pit they've seen at Bridgestone. Which surprised me because I was in the pit and it was just slightly bigger than the average pit (compared to other big bands)

It surprised me a ton that they weren't handing out emergency water to the pit. I've never had an arena not do that. Very irresponsible imo

So they handed out water to anyone at barricade and not behind. Which was odd to me. I felt really bad for everyone behind me and tried to get them water when I could but they literally didn’t even have space to hold a water most of the time. A lot of us couldn’t do the shoulder thing for Follow You because we didn’t have space for that either. I felt really bad for one of the girls behind me because she really wanted to but it wasn’t happening.
