Biggest issue I see in PUG groups with boss 3 is destroying the third turret too quickly. The pressure knobs should be completed prior to destroying the turret so the tank can engage the boss on the ground before he makes it to the platform.

A pretty good strat my clan ran into was having the tank pick up the boss and throwing decoys on the tank. Having the tank then move towards the outside wall, allowing a break from the oxidizer spam.

As each decoy runs out a new one is thrown between the old decoy and the tank, ensuring the backpack is always facing the center where the raid can easily target.

@royal valley for odh all you need is a dps build, for Ih it’s more mechanics heavy and a variety of builds are needed, to prepare I’d say make a dps, healer, and tank build, and also read up on the mechanics. I’m sure there’s lots of yt vids that provide good info about that

The fact that world difficulty still affects the amount of ads and boss health

#

Normal - challenging, same
Heroic - a lot of ads in one foot and the colour they are

I ran a test last week when someone said that and it proved to be false that the world difficutly doesnt affect any parts of the raid

#

mob veterancy is more random then it is based on world difficulty. Just play heroic in game and you will still see lots of reds/purples

Question : I missed a raid key right after Boomer. I have a total of 3 Keys and have the Razorback CP. Will I get another key after Razorback and have I missed any other keys on the way? Also if I complete Razorback and do not have enough keys, can I then join another group for the boomer key and use the checkpoint straight back to Razorback to open the chest? How will that work? All help appreciated.

You will get a key after EVERY razor back kill no matter how many keys you have. Yes you can do boomer again and get the missing key but you will HAVE to kill Razorback again to open the chest after

Out of certain doors in DH they amount that spawn out on heroic difficulty and in IH in C side at fieser there’s a lot of ads once once crucibles at 50%, during phases on 3rd a lot spawn out of different doors at same time being purples +, can’t see a difference on 4th boss

But on challenging it’s only a couple that spawn out doors and are less elites

and your gonna need a larger sample size, just 1 or 2 runs based on feel isn't a way to provide data

and you will also have to provide ALL spawn counts, not just from 1 door

#

prime example is razorback, the spawn counts out of the spawn areas is random sets

Well I can see a difference between spawn times and rarity of ads. Will see and time how long it takes for ads to come out spawn doors

If you spawn trap doors on dh the ads can spawn from other doors. Doesn't mean more. Boomer room doors can sometimes spawn more ads sometimes less, depends how quickly you kill them before the nodes are taken down.

spawn time for adds is again random, just look at the 4th boss, the phase 2-4 adds are 1 shotgunner and 1 medic and they start coming out at the same time but then teh time between each coming out changes

#

and like it stated, its an entirely different server so any changes on the DC or NY servers doesn't affect the raid server

That’s why I’m usually on a skill build when my mate sets up the raid. It’s faster to kill them and they can stay in one spot. His difficulty is on heroic

My first raid was hilarious and awful. PUG and nobody knew what they were doing (myself included). Spent an hour and a half getting bomb-wiped at the Razorback before I quit. Two separate experienced players had dropped in during the raid and just lost their minds at how terrible everyone was. Good times 😄

Yes it will jam them. If your jammer isn't strong enough it won't destroy them, but that's not actually an issue so long as nobody is within their radius when they're jammed; after they're unjammed they will just go back to Williams. It may be that they have to be jammed long enough for them to do that - I am not 100% sure

You can actually shoot them with foam chem launcher and if you have vile mask on it will kill them after they roll for 3s. Honestly demo grenade launcher works way better and an extra dps is far more useful for the duration of that map than a cc

it's really strange with Neg bug though, they all screw up the final boss but they have different symptoms. Sometimes she doesnt say final lines, sometimes she does, the health and armour on Iron donkey gets all wonky...

It's basically a chain quest. First, you beat the raid. It asks you to donate the FI and FB full sets, along with some materials.

#

Once you finish either, you get another quest with additional pieces of brand gear that you need to turn in.

#

Once you finish those two, you unlock the final quest, to get the pieces for Regulus.

On the first weekly clear after you get the Regulus quest, all the Regulus pieces drop from the bosses. Then you just need to craft a Magnum and instant Regulus.

you can roll different talents on the classic M1A but you can't on the baker's dozen. Talents such as rifleman and boomerang

baker's dozen is really good if you are constantly firing in cover, but in raid settings that is not always the case

only last boss drops a key the rest you need from boxes that can only be looted once a week

#

and you need 5 keys to open the box you can farm the last boss for extra keys so you can open multiple boxes each week

#

and the exotic drop rate is around 1/8 to 1/10 from the boxes and prolly around 1/1000 or more from bosses

Question about Raid checkpoints: I have a checkpoint at Razorback. I join another game that is fresh and complete it. Do I still have my individual savepoint at razorback to do later (before reset)? Or did I lose the razorback checkpoint when completing the raid with another crew/save?

@fresh moon normally no. Although there is a way to drop the parts again and again etc, but it may be considered as glitch/exploit in the future, so I wouldn't advise to do this.

the parts DO drop again if you move the gun to an alt character. And its NOT an exploit/glitch as its how its ALWAYS worked for all of the crafted exotics.

If you have completed the regulus project on a character, you get the blueprint. As long as you've bought the perk to share blueprints, you'll get the parts

@wanton beacon Yes. The FI chest is a must have. Just tag along in fresh raids and tell everyone that you need it for your healing build. When you pair it with Safeguard, everyone gets 25% more damage when they are at full armour, and you do 100% extra healing. i.e. its like up to 2 extra players in the group. If the group is struggling in any IH boss, it may be because the healer isnt using this build. imo its viable for boss 1 and 2 in the Dark Hours raid too.

Ok, this might be hated or disagreed on but what if the best way to introduce players to the IH raid is by boss 4 farming?
I feel like certain teams that fail to do Fieser and Williams can actually do Boss 4 within a few tries, its way less mechanic intensive but still requires coordination. Its a way to show dps players tank/healer builds are needed, helps them obtain the gear set pieces

Boss 3 is tough. We tried a few different ways and now can do 15 min. 1 tank 1 CC 1 healer, 5 DPS move together. Boss phase tank face boss all DPS shot from up top.

I just want to say, why give damage caps on Dark Hours? AnI no shock on boomer.... Like i farm for my builds, to make that one special build u need.. Now u guys took away the farming with the map and the loot pool.. The raid doesn't really matter as long as u have basic dps.. Because damage stays equal.. How to destroy your fanbase in 6 Months.. U sold us out for casual crybabies.. I'm really upset.. U destroyed my favorite game.. Content is weak.. The whole game is a joke..

Weird then. We first also thought it's because of exotics, but proved it works with the exotics we tested.
So we thought it might be NegDilemma then since it also messes with boss 4, and never had probs since we started to ensure no one runs it there.
I assume since you speed run you probably mainly run GC DPS, so there's also no one running anything else special that could transfer marks/damage by accident like EP or Vile mask or skills hitting a box, hm 🤔
Maybe just a glitched session then, when we encounter too many weird things we usually leave and let someone else start the raid.
Oh other thing that comes to mind, think I read that the codes might reset if someone enters the boss pit, never kept an eye on it though.

@wooden hazel oh I stopped playing after year 2.. Bought a pc for change and to go top10 on ps4 and pc.. Now it's impossible.. Like I omly speedrun.. Will still speedrun but they screwed the leaderboards again.. So for me there is almost no need to farm... Maxed out on ps4 and pc..

Game is already 1.5y in, at this point half devs are probably already working on Division 3. Like we knew on Division 1, the bugs and clitches never went away, the game went more unstable every single update and they didn't care. But don't forget that's what business is, they gonna give us about 2-3 years content and then new game, where everything starts from beginning. Well people are killing the bosses wiping to clear adds at boss 2 you enter next phase with snipers after wipe so you shave time that way

The rocket spawn roughly on a 15 second interval if there isnt one on the ground. Your need quite a few specific builds pre saved. After the third boss, you switch to those build and the turret will never spin and attack in the first and last phase of the fight. You can also dps 2-4 two mortar cannon things in that phase. Ignoring the rocket spawn timer.

There are 4 SHD caches in the raid that each award a key and are openable once per week per character. The last boss also awards a key on kill each time (no limit). The box can be opened anytime you got 5 keys and theres no weekly limit on the number of times you can open it

basic application: Someone advertises in the LFG channel they are either LFM or LFG. If they have a group they will more often advertise a voice channel to join or to DM them for a private discord channel. When you join that voice, you will add the leader to your friends list in Uplay so they can accept and add you to the raid (raid groups can only be made between friends and clan members). Leader then will invite you to the raid and your set

Watching today's SOTG, I was most shocked to see no mention of the horrible sound glitches that present themselves in the Iron Horse raid (alarm sounds, gun sounds, enemy sounds, explosions, music, etc.). This make an already difficult activity that much more (needlessly) difficult, and waste player's time, as the only way to fix the sound glitch is to close and restart the game. It happens in every run, for multiple people. I hope to get acknowledgement of these issues, and confirmation that work is being done to finally fix them (the sound glitch has been in the raid since it first launched).

I mention this glitch on Reddit, as well as others that are happening throughout the raid.

As long as you have bought the sharing blueprints perk from inaya (i assume you have), you can just complete the raid with your other chars and get the pieces to craft it again. You don't have to do all teh donation projects again

Just make sure your regulus isn't in the stash when you do it. The game can't think that your char has access to a Regulus otherwise the parts won't drop

Calling someone out for stealing really isn't though since its mostly your fault that someone takes a dropped item. Theres no "trade" method in the game, a dropped item is fair game by anyone. If your going to do a trade either do it ina isolated corner away from everyone or go into their session/group and trade there.

@tame pawn When you start shooting the red cogs, everyone starts gradually going up to level 2 or 3 except for the tank. In the final fight only the tank should be on the ground floor, and the tank's job is to aggro the boss so that the weakspot on the back faces everyone in the tower to shoot. I've done it with 7 people like this, and its easy doing it this way. But if some people decide they do not want to go up or the tank decides not to do this, then it will most probably go pear shaped.

@drowsy totem it depends on the team. If you have a top tier DPS team, you can do anything. But with randoms, this is the best strategy I've seen for success

with randoms the tank will most probably die. but this gives you the best fighting chance vs boss 3. you can throw a revive hive to revive the tank and if the healer isn't incompetent they should be tossing some heals the tanks way. dps should be tossing decoys too between the boss and the outer wall.

Out of all the raids I did, there is probably 1-2 people that know how to use glass and the rest of the time you just see the rest of the group ignoring the dead glass cannon user on the floor. No one have time to revive you and see you die 10 secs after

what gets a lot of people on the first boss is that they just ONLY focus on the boss and not the shield adds. The Shield Adds WHILE they are alive add a % Damage Reduction to the boss until they die. If you dont kill them, the boss takes a lot less damage then if you were to kill them.

Having 1 or 2 ND users keeps the shield adds fully in check and allows them to die quickly

The bigger problem might be that we are not yet familiair enough with boss 3 to get everyone on the same page. We ll see on our next run.

So a group I ran with the other day had a different way to handle the cogs on Boss 3. Apparently you can listen for the click at each valve turn for the cogs and the game plays a slightly different click when you turn the cog to the correct setting.

Definitely felt like it sped up that phase as there's less "oops you went to far"

as someone who's soloed the cogs often, there is no way to tell when your at the right cog BEFORE the loud click. Due to sound issues the cog spinning sound has 2 different sounds as 1 part of it can get cut off while turning (and where its located doesn't matter)

What you CAN do is take note of the position of the cogs at teh start of the fight so you know exactly how many turns each one needs. (note they all rotate clockwise if i recall)

first phase we kill all the mortars.
Second phase: we only manage to kill one mortar, otherwise it reappears while we're under the bridge.
Third phase: we kill one more mortar. (so we are during 2 phases with 3 live mortars.) Note that there are lasers at this phase.
Fourth phase: we focus the boss because the train is dead when we get out of the bridge at that moment.
And then it's over, we collect the objects.

Each time I say "phase" it is that we go under the bridge to protect it. The problem we have is that we have players dying from mortar fire during phase 2 and 3 of our development. We wanted to know if there was a way not to get mortars all over us ^^'"?

if you dont want any mortars you have to kill all 4 each phase. But they really are trivial to take a motar hit as your healer with hive should be albe to keep people up even if they wern't behind the shield

but mainly just dont have anyone near the area until the sirens go off at the start of each wipe phase

you don't need to rush under there if the boss in a good position

and if you see a mortar, you can have your group move to a side.

the gun doesn't one shot people and the ticks on it are slow enough that the hive can heal you full before the next tick from teh gun

a) its not needed as survivability is more the issue with the raid, its not a dps check

#

they repop every phase and is intended so its a waste of time to kill them

#

the only thing killing them each phase does is remove getting mortared each time

#

but its not needed outside of the first phase

#

getting mortared while in the wipe phase isnt the end of the world if you have a decent healer

#

just dont be near the front if you are taking a mortar hit

#

but really you shoul just move, you dont HAVE to be behind the tanks shield for the gun shooting at you, a healing hive can heal the damage

#

unless your wearing Glass Cannon, in which case, your using the wrong talent if you don't know how to survive

you will get them occasionally, you cannot prevent that without killing all 4 every phase.

when you're under the bridge of boss 4, from raid 2: sometimes the mortars are fired under the bridge, right on top of the crew. Is there any way to prevent that, please? 🙂

and like i stated as well, if a mortar is coming, move out of the circle of it even under the bridge, the gun isn't going to kill you if you have a semi decent healer

because to explain, our problem is not the raid, we get there, but sometimes we have a mortar falling right in the middle of our line under the bridge, while the turret is firing. And those in glass cannon die (me haha) so I try to find a solution to keep glass cannon because only there I lose my life. Only, it really annoys my group a lot :/

no one should ever be using glass cannon in the raid if they don't know how to survive. There is no DPS checks so unbreakable is the defacto go to as its survivability

@smoky tapir its not that you cant run GC, its just that 90% of the people running it have an IQ of 50 and die every 2 minutes. Using GC is a unnecessary risk if your running with randoms.

@tender hollow if you can't solve the issue just make sure he can't use seekers either by destroying them (fire nade, emp, firstarter etc) or just go to the 2nd floor

Grenade launcher with demo specialty instantly kills the seekers. So does the flamethrower if you face tank him in a hazard build

If you shoot the seekers with the foam chem launcher and vile mask it kills them within 10 meters and you can shoot him at the same time you are hitting the seekers at his feet.
