Ok so, you need two people in each corner, A and C. They will kill Ads for first area, you need two people on each stair, two people in control room, then we had two people going in and out. One shooting rockets and one getting code.

You start doing to crucible first, so it’s four rounds to fill it. Whoever is calling the code, can type or say it. Person upstairs calls out translation, people on either side A/C and the 4 in and out people search for the corresponding box, we hit that and reset, so back to corners to clear ads.

Stairs people are watching for vet that shuts off power and helping one another. You have someone that shoots the rockets when the tank activates, we had one person, we would call out rocket drops when we killed who had them and he would come get them. After the 4 panels, we have to pour it on tank. There’s anchors on top in the room, you don’t have to worry about boss at all. Shoot the anchors up too as they appear, after you have to do water pressure phase.

Second boss. Inside the furnace room above Door B there is a screen that gives an error code. Part of it doesn’t display, so the person inside has to report it to the person in the control room.

The person in the control rooms matches the error code to a picture of a cup with hook/conveyer/empty/moving whatever and describes it to people in the outer ring

People on the outer ring walk up to wifi boxes and check image. If it’s the right image they shoot the box it’s connected to, and it should turn green. Repeat.

Water pressure at 80, the water cannon can be activated to either reduce boss fire stacks or destroy the train. You don’t have to maintain 80, only keep it at 80 when you need water.

crucible first, then water. boss should be at 3-4 stacks depending on speed.

at 5 stacks you should all be inside furnace or controller room to dps boss as temp slowly rises to 204F, prioritizing water hosing the cannon and the boss simultaneously, after eaching 80-85 water pressure.

@eager aspen you can just go through the crucible phase, without doing the water; once the cannon is readied to be cool, then you can just preparing for the water and use it then. It should give the other teammates more time to handle adds in the meantime.

It's to lower the heat that builds up in the Forge so the people who go in don't die too quickly.

#

Also, once you fill up the Crucible and dump it on the tank, you need to pour the water to quickly cool the molten iron.

After every round when you destroy the main cannon, go under the train and DPS her. When the train is at health bar, dont focus on boss dps, focus on killing a heavy to get the key and destroy the train with main turret. After that, if you have boss with 1-2 armor bar, dps her but remember she will again invoke the shelling so keep urself near the train tunnel.. after her last round kill her. After that she drops a RPG which u will have to fire at the main cannon again to finish the raid. Hope this helps!

Some people are using cc builds there @tender hollow green or brand sets, but personally I wouldn't use it there. It would be one dps less.

I have been trying to dispatch Boss 3 and every time the stickies stop the group from clearing ads and we all die - every group disbands after running out of playing time,,,, the strategy to that point is perfect but it all goes to sh*t when we have to kill the boss.... any suggestions? @topaz ice yes there is a cash after the last boss, so it seems the quest to build the gun is locked behind two quest one to donate all 6 pieces of the bulwark and one quest to donate all 6 pieces of future gear.

the keys themselves are limited as the cache keys can only be gotten once per week per character (so after the 4 cache ones, best you can is the last boss's dropped key)

So I know this is a bit of a stupid question but I know that the aces and eights blue prints are ODH raid drops, so they only come from normal mode or can one get them from discovery mode as well? I ask cause when I looked into them, it said online that not only the blueprints were raid only but the backpack and chest were also raid only but I've been able to get chest and backpacks freeroaming/doing missions that the gear allocation was gear sets.

The only way i see them ever changing it (which is doubtful since it was done in ODH with no issue) was that it would require a full clear of the prior 3 each time before the 4th would grant another key. But again, i very highly doubt they will change it since it had no issue in ODH

hmm thats new to me. Quite a few glitches in the raid. Found another one during day 1 when we have to activate 3 switches in the furnace room (after 1st boss) at the same time. There were no adds to kill, no one had key and we couldn't interact with the terminals. Wiping solved that

Yup, one could just replace the one without mics or builds, at least solo players could find some people via matchmaking this way.

I had someone with me (forgot his name) on one of my runs in the control room with 99% hzd and he still lost armor (but he was never on fire) i think, once the boss gets his stacks you'll take dmg no matter what @tender hollow

Also i had a build with 97% fire resistance and i still lost armor on the tower (3rd boss). And yes i saw KingMacho vid, idk how he didn't took any dmg

i believe its immunity for the status effect. The burn damage you take from having max fire stacks is seperate (and i believe its classified as Napalm damage)

farm on heroic, generally the stats will at least be 50%+ and you only need 1 good roll, the other is an automatic god roll based on your recal library

and sets with teh skill tier are always fully god rolled items (since theres only 1 attribute to roll)

Key farming on Razorback was just as prevalent as it is now.

Well i don't know about doing 1 cog before you can do diagnostic again BUT on 2 different occasions i was able to do only 2 diagnostics on cogs phase. No idea if it's a bug or not but you'll have to keep that in mind (i was able to press the computer but my team couldn't find the electric boxes or the pressure valves)

It says one player can use one turrent for once.. Means if i use 45 i cant use it again but still i can use 41... Here Use means.. Interact, shoot his backpack, as soon as he gets down leave the turrent immediately and switch with someone else.

yes you keep the keys you currently have, keys are not lost on resets or for any reason until you use teh 5 keys on the big chest at the end

ive always just done the 3 diagnostics and then the lava phases without doing anymore. If you lock the pressure in the final phase, the amount of pressure remaining doesn't affect teh timer too much (its still around bout 3mins)

Yea, i figured as much. I'm not too keen on efficient strates for the encounter yet, but that's why I'm asking. The group I previously played with took too long and were resistant to the idea you mentioned above. Thanks again for sharing your POV.

boss phase can be kinda cheese with 3 decoys

the main problem is you can't really do more diagnostics after the first 3 till you do at least 1 lava pit so you either loose time doing more diagnostics anyway or have to put more people on tower/daignostic duty while still doing the cogs

As long as you can get thru the cog phase quickly and into the value phase, the pressure shouldn't matter since after the last value, you get 2-3mins anyway regardless of the pressure location

2 people can do it, esp to start at least to get that first one open

At the very basic, you want 1 weapon dps, 1 skill dps, 1 healer and 1 tank.

All builds should be about 80% out of 100% on their overall stat rolls.

@obtuse osprey try using decoys to force the boss to stay in position, or CC/foam the boss to lock it. EMP will also disable the foam seeker mines as long as your allies are not super close to the boss

its not about measurements, its about how good you are at comunicating and performing tasks. Aslong as you have a dps build capable of solo heroic and a tank or a healer setup then youd be fine on the build side

1- press both buttons at the same time, its behind the counter
2- before going into the luggae area, after the 2nd boss, there is a locked room with a window up top, throw a frag nade inside and it opens
3- in the luggage area, after the 2nd key there is an elevator, someone needs to run to it before the doors close and open the doors from the inside for the others, if no one makes it, you cant get it anymore until you redo the raid.
4- before the last boss, go left instead of right and the box is just sitting there
5- razorback always drops a key, no rng

I’m finding in some groupings the jammer pulse will one shot the drones. And then I run the Razorback again later with a different group and it will leave a sliver of health on the drones for them to torment the team. Nothing changed on my build so is it other members specialization I need?

You need a Demo in the group for the extra 5% Damage to targets out of cover. In both Raids at least 1 Demo in the group is mandatory... usually we have 1 Demo in every Subgroup.

@versed swallow if you put an extra ~5% skill damage in your build, you will wont need to rely on having a demo in the group or for other extra damage talents to proc

It's all about adds control. If you do it right only 2-3 ppl need to actually shoot him (since he can only take 2 bars worth of dmg each phase anyway) the rest should kill adds. Pure DPS builds are necessary ofc @uneven summit

Make yourself familiar with adds spawn points and put one person to control each spawn point and you're good

It’s easier to stagger the boss with a sticky bomb if you haven’t got the new exotic

I really do find it amazing how even with a new raid people still try to do the hive BTSU work around.
Work around? ppl will try to speedrun every content, the BTSU buff is legitimate so why not using it. Especially now where it's not really an "easy way to pass first timers through"

Again that not the case anymore. True in the past ppl got used to it too much, but now without pulse stacking and the fact that you have to "sacrifice" one dps guy to procc it - i don't see any problem using it

Still I think that the boss fights should have more than one and only one way to win. The game has a vast number of builds and possibilities. The fights should too.

The fact that the “one and only correct way” in most fights in DH boiled down to everyone using the same exact build with the same talents is disappointing in a sense.

Boomer can be a problem.

Those turrets can at times be difficult for some people to use on console.

4pc foundry bulwark(rolled for armor regen) with pointman and a backpack with protector can kite boomer very effectively now. I tried it and he did less than 1/6th damage to my armor.

@uneven summit Besides a dedicated tank to kite boomer, try having a person on each of the spawn areas and 2 in the center with 1 person who can operate the main gun. Boomer will always follow the person who breaks his heal box, but if you can't do that easily the best option is 2 tanks who use the guns, 3 guys near spawn areas for doors, the last 3 positioned in center to control adds and opportunity fire on Boomer when he goes down.

Adds>Boomer Turret>Consoles>Firing on Boomer when they can.

That is the order of priority in the fight.

BCD in the english alphabet rhyme so use NATO letters in english speeking groups. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta to call consoles.

We tried and dialed
@uneven summit try with 1 person mainly focusing on ads for each of the 5 spawn doors. All they do is ads. They can position in the middle so they are close to the computers too. The person kiting should do it clockwise around the middle and try to get boomer close to each minigun so that his backpack faces the mini gun and it is easy to shoot. One of the people doing the doors can be a healer with overwatch or future initiative. e.g. on doors 44/45 if people are still dropping a lot.

@tender hollow @unborn karma finding teachers is hard and nobody is obliged to teach anyone on lfg. Teaching is ideally done in clan if possible. Don't blame the whole lfg for not teaching

Thanks for your advice, Ill try and find an active clan. That seems a great starting point. I have watched tons of videos, but it always seems there are very unprepared players and also very inpatient players. Not always, but frequently. They have made the raids quite unforgiving I feel

That is a good point. The raids in Div 2 seem locked but to those with the most min-maxed builds.... and the rewards other than the exotics are relatively mediocre. I guess in Destiny 2 you can just head in with the shirt on your back 😆
