What are some minimum stats to run the raid on normal? My armor and health are 283k and 53k, and my DTE is at 104%. It feels like my AR damage and all weapon damage leaves something to be desired, as it's only at 34% and 24.5. I do well on discovery mode, but it's said that playing the raid on normal is a different beast. Can I make a run with those stats and not be a liability? Any advice is welcome. Thank you in advance!

I know ppl say the baby raid (discovery mode) doesn't prepare you for normal mode. It is set in the environment and can get you use to where enemies come from. I ran it a bunch of times and then did the homework on raid mechanics (different from discovery mode) before doing normal mode.

@quiet lion i never once asked for the EB, but i was gifted it on my 15th run by a friend who pulled me aside to drop it for me specifically. i think if you raid enough and show others that you're determined to lead the raid or to put effort into the raid as a member, then people will respect that and they might be willing to give you the EB if it's not their first or being used for an alt character. i still raid weekly even after getting my EB.

It’s absolute 💩 that the eb is getting nerfed. To those here that think it’s just another exotic your wrong. It took me 14 raid clears to get it . You know what? I'm good with the update. Granted I wanted the EB more to even the playing field than anything else and I still want it. But they fixed alot of stuff. Reading the patch notes, I got so many ideas for builds. That is a good start. My build sits at around 360k arm 50k health.
Surprisingly armour is slightly less of an issue since Deflector is surprisingly tanky versus 1 or 2 adds. It's important to keep in mind you're not a fully damage role, rather a support one to draw fire so your teammates can focus on the objectives

you can also put yellow mods that give protection from elites along with running whatever else gives you that

I'd focus on blue and yellow mods almost exclusively, so your red mods are 3 or less and you can use Compensated for that sweet 15% WD
Best spec to use is Survivalist and the Mender Seeker, the green clouds it emits actually can repair your shield if you stay in them.
Also, blue mods with Skill Health will greatly boost the durability of your shield (highest I've seen on a mod is 15% so far)
Main weakness is obviously requiring proper positioning and awareness of your surroundings, never go full ham when you're pushing forward or you'll get flanked like mad.
Other than that, go with shooting with your main weapon until they start depleting your armour or they go into melee range with you, that's when you whip out your shield and laugh, go for headshots with Liberty (pistol headshot is very strong)

I like to play with new players. It's more interesting. But I understand that some ppl want to "get it done". It's ok.
I think the best way is to get an experienced group and ~2 newbies. Experienced group can carry them without a problem and they get the experience on the way.
The only thing that's bad is when newbies do not know what to do - then they can mess it up some times.
So if you're new to the raid I encourage you to watch some youtube videos first about each boss. So you know the mechanics.

fifth key is a chance drop from razorback, but it can only drop it if it’s your first clear of the week for that character @swift loom

There is a misunderstanding to the last key on the raid mission. There is no 5 th key. You have to do two raids....kollecting keys from both raids...in order to open the box on completing the razorback....once. Now...when you have completed the raid, you may have to wait a minute or 2...or 3 in order for the box to "glow" blue, signaling it is availeble for you to open. This will only happen....if you have 5 or more keys. If you open the map...while on the razorback airfield...you can see how many keys you have in your inventory....on the right side of the map. If the chest for some reason does not glow blue....just wait another minute. Give it some time to reset if someone else just opened the box. Good luck 😉

unless you're speed running and aren't using spotter, only skills to use are chem launcher, defender drone or the revive hive. i prefer defender drone with berserk and clutch because armor doesn't do shit for you in the raid. @clear meteor

difficulty is subjective per player and per group. if you have some sort of a brain and are in a group with people who have done it, as long as you listen you’ll be perfectly fine. the only gearsets that’ll work for the raid for the time being is aces and eights and tip of the spear @high heart

This line sorta gave me chills. Without the miniguns in the raid, in a real fight. Boomers prototype would fuck over the whole planet when you put it into consideration.
Real weapons don’t work on it other than the modified minigun turrets.
The real applications that prototype could have on the next raid is sorta creeping me.
Ubisoft have to make harder to beat mechanics. Which means bosses will have better technology.
And it’s the True Sons we’re going against.
Obviously boomer is super easy to kill in game.
But could you imagine trying to face him in reality?
With that prototype armour. Holy hell we would be fucked.

Hi, Im a PC player.Where and How should i look for group for raid missions..never tried raid before..gear score is 499..all weapon damage is 30% AR damage is 36%..DTE 63%(didnt stack hard hitting as its getting nerfed in TU6) and have SOCOM Mk16 AR and merciless rifle.Also have p416 but my MK16 shoots better. I know the stats are nowhere near enough, but been farming for long time...this is the best i could get.

The eye isn’t dependent on the amount of DMG, his aggro depends on who’s closest to him. If you hit the chest, then that’s a guaranteed aggro for you. If you get on the turret and down him, that also makes you get the eye. If you lose it after, then the eye goes to who ever is closest to him again.

Everyone has an opinion . If your experienced clutch is great on buddy and Lucy . Personally I like bezerk with patience in all the fights . Stand up get hit and fire away , then chem launcher healer and repeat . Then during other fights I do both lean and chem . P416 works great as well or mk16 if you don’t have the eb . 51 clears here and it’s dropped once for me .
Oh and btw all of us have goofy tag names referring to movies , mines dragon and my old ad guy was nighthawk from stepbrothers the movie lol . Just FYI

- RV stands for "Raid Voice"
- Gear score doesn't mean anything past 490
- If you don't want to be a burden, watch videos to learn the mechanics, ask questions during the raid and have a good build (if you can do CP4s and Heroic missions while in a group comfortably, you should be fine)

@pale birch you have a very balanced clutch build with good rolls/health/CHC, high CHD, high AWD (with mods that you forgot to add) and decent DTE, can't really see what could be improved, maybe +5% DTE on the mask and +1.5% CHD on the holster?

Yes, it's just the discovery mode of the raid to get your feet wet, see the mechanics and get the hang out of it. The normal raid is tougher and therefore more rewarding.

It's because too many blues and your gonna have a bad time running the raid. Also typically bad players stack blues to keep themselves alive.

You dont need too much blues, it's pointless to make tank builds in this game. To keep yourself alive just kill stuff, so you need dmg for that, if you are going to rely on stacking blues, probably shooters is not for you.

That's my point. It's cool if that's your play style but I ask for low blues because that which is dead cannot kill you. This is a run off converstation from me asking for 4 or less blues in raid groups.

1, No but it can be funny as hell. Imo I only see it as a very basic form of mechanics and getting used to the raid layout.
2, Not to my knowledge, you can not get them blueprints from discovery (not 100% tho).
3, discovery = story mode
Normal = heroic scaled to 8 players

@manic ledge No. There is no video of the 4 minute run, nor will they ever release it. They cheated to get that time. The same cheaters just did a 7:26 completion time, but obviously they cheated again because they were completely incapable of getting anywhere near that time previously.
The cheaters now know Ubi/Massive will do nothing to them, so they did another cheated run right after Ubi/Massive made that announcement.

@pliant dome it was just glitch, some of teammates got disconnected during the Razorback fight, and when they got back online and finish raid it registered just time from when they got back online.. they already sent ticket to Ubi so they can delete that time from Lboard
