i keep hearing skill builds are useless in the raid but how does a hardwired turret healer seeker survivalist sound for situational bosses ie razorback where you can leave the turret on the console like a aa platform to shoot down drones and it will shock the tanks who try to activate them?

and are skills like the turret effected by the gas in the hangar boss encounter or do they have the same damage regardless of the debuff stacks?

i was just asking since it can down a heroic tank in around 1 min and i was thinking that if you mounted it on top of the console it would shoot down on the tank making sure the majority of the shots are headshots

Hey folks. I'm putting together a speedrun team for Raids. We will meet at 10:00PM Central, Monday through Friday. We are searching for individuals with a lot of raid experience (150+ Raids preferred), multiple speed-run builds that are min/maxed and who are generally pleasant to game with.

We already have 5 players who have the gear and the knowledge. When we find our final 3 (plus a few backups, for those who cannot commit to at least 4/5 weeknights), we expect to be running sub-13-minute runs within a few days.

Fellas, gotta ask if anyone has experienced. Running some speed runs (for our clan anyway) and we just beat our best time of 23:01 with a 18:48. However, the game did NOT record our time.. We've had this happen 1 other time when we reset progression at the beach... Is this a known bug or what? Damn shame it happened on our BEST run ever.

just want to thank the TEF clan for letting me run with them last night. valiant effort by everyone that stuck it out that long. it sucks being the player to do the final blunder that caused our final wipe (at 3am my time EST) just want to share what happened. I was helping kill a dog at 4 when the chunga came out at 3. I tried to quick reload with the Dodge City swap talent and think I swapped back to the LMG too soon and ran out of ammo just before killing the the chunga. tried to swap-reload again in time but to effin late. anyway will take serious look at working on dmg, DTEs etc and may try a rifle build. @timid gazelle On your way to kill chungus you can get electrocuted by stray drone, concussed by grenade, be put down by group of mobs that just came out of door, shot by a dog or be kicked in the teeth by EB. It happens, don't put all blame on yourself. There's supposed to be at least one person available from adjacent corners when you scream for help, if you are new to raids they should have put that into account and assume you may not be able to kill chungus by yourself.

If there is only one player on a chungus then that group has made a terrible mistake. Overwatch 4 should always be available to cover for 1 and 3, and Overwatch 3 for 2 and 4. Additional players should be called if a person is down

For Razorback:

You get 8 pieces of GS 500 on Discovery.
You get 16 pieces of GS 500 on Normal plus chance at Raid Exclusive Gear + Raid Exclusive Gear BP + Chance at Eagle Bearer for the first run of the week. If you manage to open the chest with 5 keys, another 4 pieces of GS 500, Chance of either Raid Exclusive Gear or Eagle Bearer.

@bronze loom not sure I yelled "chunga!" loud enough, seems my buddy on 3 and others took a little while to join in trying to kill him. but it was a really long run, we had a tough time in Lucy-Buddy getting our team coordinated and by 3am my hands were actually starting to feel exhausted so I think that contributed to error with Dodge City weapon swap between pistol and LMG

if someone can answer me this please much appreciated, when i run the raid on a thursday and get the keys, there is a chance of getting the EB when i open the chest which i know, but if i run the raid again does the chance of it dropping from any boss go away or is there still a chance it will drop every raid from the boss

once you do your weekly clear, all chances to get the EB drops to zero unless you have multiple characters. each character has their own weekly clear tied to it so if you have 4 characters, you have 4 chances at the EB a week. @paper raptor

for example with 100% DtE you do double to elites right, your damage I mean

but if you'd bring the base damage up, say you have 30k now and you'd bring it to 40k, you could have lower DtE values, but you'd still do more damage that with what you had previously

because DtE multiplies the damage, it doesn't add to the base, I think you get what I mean

Discovery is not used correctly IMO

Someone should explain to newbies mechanics and tactics while doing the discovery before heading into the raid, all I got to do in discovery is follow players around waiting for explanation only to find out discovery is used to get loot

FOR SPEED RUNS Dont forget the Tip o' Spear player is also Survivalist which is going to throw flame grenades giving the group another 10% to status effected enemies. So imo the MOST important person for group comp is a Tips player for 30% dmg boost to the first two bosses. Also for Boomer you want the person kitting boomer to have Opportunistic Gloves for an additional 10% dmg to Boomer raid wide. The kitter is also standing next to Boomer to get him to SWING at him giving the Turret player another chance at taking him down again. Also for Razorback TAC50 players have an AR as you primary and Nemi or what ever other exotic as your secondary so you can get an additional 29% dmg to health when shooting the MAIN HP of Razorback.

And weakpoint (backpack) gets destroyed with minigun. While the one with agro destroys healing plate on chest, isn't it more effective if Boomer gets the debuff right before becoming vulnerable?

Question about chest , new to Raid and what is a better build Berserk or Unbreakable , Unbreakable armor build is around 290K but i lose DPS to around 700K, if I do the Berserk Build my P416 can do over a 1.2 million DPS . But armor is around 250K . Thoughts?🤔

to their core, they're the same. downing boomer with minigun, etc but it's a lot less lenient. things hit for 69 million per bullet, take 69 million bullets. second boss i dunno the difference since i haven't done it. third boss the leniency on keeping the health together goes down significantly. as you get their health down, the smaller the window you have. last boss requires 2 on each corner, one clearing adds and one doing the generator, they all need to be synced up (like discovery) and have a 20% grace period. chungus will wipe you in like 10 seconds if you don't kill him fast enough rather than the 8 thousand seconds you have in discovery. at 50% boss health, two chungi spawn

oh believe me, if you play with beginners, they often don't communicate (properly) in any game, doesn't matter if they have a mic or if they're physically next to you

so you wanna watch youtube videos about the normal raid mechanics before jumping in, play with people who completed the raid a few times and ask questions if you're unsure about something

You can get it as drop from boss with some low rate (1% I think) or when you open chest at the end of raid (10% chance)

discovery is funny because if you stand at the outer corner of Buddy's room, you can pretty much single-handedly melt Buddy with an SVD (I'd recommend one with Lucky Shot, Extra magazine and extended mag) and Aces while Lucy does infinite 360 and everyone is down the whole time, Buddy's heal can't keep up lol

I'm gonna sound harsh and I mean no offense @neon nest but you're totally not raid-ready since you have no DTE whatsoever and your DPS must be low no matter the situation, so the least you could do would be to equip pieces with hard hitting, a mask with DTE, a Fenris chest with berserk or a 5.11 chest with hard hitting, gloves with weapon type damage, a Petrov piece if you're gonna use an LMG, use a revive hive and ditch those seekers (you have 0 skill power and not running a demo build so they barely deal damage) and loot/equip mods (you seem to never pick them up)

just to be clear, there isn't a "best" build for the raid, everyone telling you otherwise has no clue what they're talking about, you have a few builds you can try to reproduce (ex: AR crit headshot, AR spotter, zerk/clutch, Aces, Tip of the Spear), but the rest is up to you and how you'd like to play the game, some things are mandatory though (like +70% DTE if you're not running a green set or understanding the boss mechanics), otherwise you're gonna be a burden for your team

also, like in most games, multi-classing is not recommended, it's better for your character to be very good at something than to be good at 2 things or average at 3 things, so if your build is all over the place, it's time to sit down and select pieces you're gonna be looking for to redo it from scratch, it'll be a better use of your time because you'll know where you'll be heading

@pliant dome Its based on dps of your team. usually its 1-2 bars of armor and when buddy start getting down(360 starting and body getting ready to drop mines) ,you starting focus fire on buddy
as long as teammates stay alive ,everything should be ok

And remember when you start burning buddy be careful of 360. its can easily kill few ppl and its gonna be wipe bcs of overcharge

stack dte and weapon damage. watch the youtube videos and if you don’t, at least listen. make it vocal that you’re new so the experienced players can give you pointers as you guys go through the raid. about 70% dte and 50-60% awd is solid. tank and skill builds don’t mean anything because you get absolutely demolished in two bullets @echo raptor
