I don't think so. If you port yourself into the base before Razorback, for example, that doesn't count as a complete run anymore.

@opal plaza In terms of damage 70% WD, 70% HSD, 70% DTE is a decent benchmark for an AR raid build and not that hard to put together. You will not be a hero but you will not be a liability as long as you understand the mechanics. Armor/Health comes more down to what you are comfortable with and how good your team is. If your team has high DPS you need less survivability, if it is filled with players with 16-20k ARs you better have some gear talents or raw armor/health to keep you standing.

Just had my most interesting run of the raid. we struggled somewhat on boomer and struggled quite a bit on buddy and lucy. Then I was designated shot caller and we then go on to complete razorback on our first try. Huh

Do not forget about defense mods - for Unbreakable you'll need 11 defenses, so you can get some more armor and health there. I usually keep those with 6k+ armor and 8.5k+ health unless they have very interesting other bonuses (like Armor%)

For chests, Fenris is a good one because it has 2 talents + few attributes, allowing for DTE/Vital/Hardened and active talent at the same time. Some weapon mods (scope and muzzle) add DTE as well. But I know given RNG in this game, finding Fenris with desired number of blues and reds, Unbreakable, passive talent and enough health is like finding a unicorn 😑

@untold elk Mk17. But the SVD does everything a rifle does, just a lot better. The only issue can be the limited ammo so you would want to switch to a slower rate MMR when you start getting low on ammo.

@swift owl your health is too low for the weasel fight as the purple phase will kill you. sure, it depends on how often people switch but in the last phase you have no control over it. roughly 60k health is sort of a "must have" (or actually "better have").

the damage you see rolled onto a gun isn’t going to be the BASE damage. it’s the base damage + your weapon damage you have in whatever areas

Very unlikely he hit 15 mil due to boomer having 30% mitigation

#

To hit 15 mil requires a lot of setup with opportunistic, fire Nade + wicked and maybe tip of the spear with aces and a crit

The way to know you are raid ready is if you can take down a chunga on Razroback by yourself before being blown up. At least you will have enough DPS for it otrnot.

Well, an m60, mk16 and m249 should all be above 30k for raid damage. MG5 you can use 24k as the rpm makes up for it.

Look at how people did it in first week... No clue what to expect, what builds to have, etc... Yet many did it. Easy to be snobs now. Some people play it as a sports discipline, others for fun.

@ashen slate wait, something does not add up... How do you verify if you are ready for raid, when you have to test it on NPC at the last stage of the boss? How... do you even get there? You have to go through raid to get there, but that means you are already doing the raid...

some one sneaking in to be carried? Happens quite a lot in pug groups. Usually Buddy and Lucy weeds them out. But deffo makes the ill experienced shine like a star on razorback. Some groups will help them, some will kick them. I am more than happy to help folk through. But if they say they are geared and experienced and turns out they aren't? It's a kick.

I can survive a hit with unbreakable, and since I usually turn off their overcharge, I tend to get aggro. My favorite past time is chasing with Lucy around tables, some hazard protection and stop drop and troll talent helps.

10% from chect and I am not sure of boss drops, it's 0.1% or 1%

I guess I am not enough experienced, and will never feel like it ... I have completed maybe 13 last I checked? May be more now. I do not count times when I was capped on keys because I was sole person with really bad luck finishing the raid. We usually do it in 30-40 minutes now and are comfortable to bring one or even two new people from clan to help them get the checkmark of completion. I can do any role needed (as I work in IT, that usually means "you'll do computers" 😂 I may or may not take down Chungus alone ... if I am lucky, but we still shout numbers and ask for help from buddy on adjacent generator.

@tender hollow Yes, higher FPS usually means better game performance, and better experience. For PC you should aim for 60 FPS and higher.

7 exp players + 1 new player = Normal difficulty

IMO if you get at least 10 raid clears you should be guaranteed an EB. And why does each boss have a 1 percent chance for an exotic or .25 for eB how about a 5 percent chance per week ?

there's a new difficulty being added called discovery mode. it's extremely easy but has matchmaking so you can find players to play with and learn the mechanics so you can move onto the normal difficulty. it own't have the eagle bearer or raid exclusive gearsets. it's a stepping stone into the raids @rose plover

4 snipers (one being aces, if u want it to be faster) if not, just for 4 snipers for shooting with TAC50 at wings.

we are not at the stage of having dedicated specialized builds, so we use 4 people at generators that stay there at all costs untill boss opens, and 4 people roaming areas near generators, supporting people inside by killing drones, adds, etc.

We ran many people from our and friendly clan through raid in past few weeks, so it's safer when you have newbies with weaker builds. But we hope to get "serious" about it and do it more effectively, our best time is just under 30 minutes

I also already got all blueprint gear and EB. now i dont have ANYMORE reason to do grind in the Raid 😟 maybe just to help people every now and then. There are five keys (if you do the right mini-puzzle) you can get each raid. One is a random drop after finishing Razorback. You need five keys to open the chest at the end of Razorback.

Each one is pretty simple. First key is after boomer, one person hits the power room switch, another person holds the power button near the room with the first key

They're on Discovery mode too but only contain the basic crafting materials for the green sets I believe. No keys since there is no chest for Discovery mode.

You can store up to max 15 I believe. You have the whole week to obtain them until the next reset. If you miss them in one raid, you can obtain in another.

Nope, if you get the 4 guaranteed keys, you get them for the week for that character. You can get them again on alts if you have them.

Usually it consists of stacking as much DTE as possible, as much All Weapon Damage and Weapon Specific Damage of your choice. Some survivability comes in handy as well - it is recommended to have at least 80k health to easily survive riot gasses at Weasel stage

usually Fenris Chest because it has 2 talents and few red/blue, select one "main" talent you base your build on - Unbreakable for survivability, Berserker if you're YOLO and confident enough, with AWD as necessary stat as it has highest values there.
Masks have highest DTE you can find, so pick one with hight DTE and additional 10% from Hard Hitting.
Backpack - anything with Hard Hitting and also good choice to have AWD there.
Gloves - your preferred weapon's damage and Hard Hitting/Precise/Devastating
Kneepads - if you go for more survivability, do with Turtle on them (Patience) and some additional Hard Hitting
Holster - Anything goes that gives higher damage output - Precise, Hard Hitting, ...

Look at talents and needed amount of Blue/Red primarily, brand bonuses secondary if you manage to find desired pieces

As for weapons, people use assault rifles and LMGs, pick your poison and stick with it. Don't forget to insert mods into gear, red mods with additional weapon damage of your choice ideally +4 +5 +6%, blue mods with +arm,or or armor%

It's hard to give you link to "this one and only ultimate raid build" because of RNG, everybody runs with what they got and prefer.

@worthy bison you should have excellent survivability over dps or have excellent aim and do dps. I drop the elites in reloading the my ar clip and have combined armor and health of 450k. My headshots when armor is down with my AR do 180k’ish. My build is average. Use that as a barometer.

Crit-50 - Specialized builds specifically for the Tac-50. Consist of max possible DTE (via Hard Hitting), CHC, CHD, and lastly AWD. You also want gear with offensive mod slots. Mod slots should be filled with AWD/DTH. To ensure you are viewing the correct numbers on the stats tab, hold G to cycle to your Tac-50. The standard for measuring damage of these builds is a Crit to the chest of a Named enemy (after shooting their armor off). Keep note of this number as you test. "

Have Aces set in your group that will trigger Aces and Eights just before damaging boss. Have Tip of the Spear set that will give pulse from the set (+20% dmg) just before damaging boss. I think people also run Spotter mask that gives pulsed enemies additional 20% damage, and Wicked gloves or kneepads? for status affected enemies and in case of Boomer set him on fire/bleed him when he's down

Possible Opportunistic gloves for somebody who is running miniguns on Boomer as destroying weak point gives additional 20% to enemy from all sources. Probably does not apply to Razorback.

and what @lyric flame wrote, you need to overdamage boss with TAC-50 from multiple people at once just before his armor/health gets depleted for alloted amount per cycle (2 bars on Boomer, quarter of health on Razorback). Last hits for that cycle do that insane damage.

For buddy and luccy you use also nemesis. You only use the tac50 on the razorback and if you have a lot of ammo, you can use it on the 3 add after weasel, in the little corridor, you can "one bullet : 3 dead"
