If you're on the front side you can actually roll right in front of the razorback and not take any damage. Or there's 2 covers where the supercomputers are you can stand behind. Or just stand near the back so you have enough time to run out of the circles. If you're on the back use the big truck as cover, or stand far back again

@frosty surge there´s a npc at the helipad to enter the raid, but you have to find 7 other people (#lfg-raid-pc) to get a raidsized group (= 8 players), because the npc hps don´t scale down with less players than 8. Two other things: 1. You need to optimize your gear first, because a raid is almost always the most difficult content in a game 2. The different raidencounters have unique mechanics which y won´t see in the other division 2 content before, so you have to figure it out or watch/read a guide before.

SMGs you have to be really close to the enemies to do any decent damage. Since the raid is scaled for 8 people, the damage you do to enemies isn't nearly as quick to burst them down like in missions

essentially if you have to play that close to the enemy during the raid you'll probably die a lot, and there are only so many revive tokens per boss

destroying the second weak point causes the boss to extend and that starts a fresh timer, so you don't lose any damage on the boss by waiting to destroy the second weakpoint

We usually have several jammers -- generally at least 1 with a 10 second cooldown build and one for backup

you can take up to 30s to destroy the second weakpoint, giving you breathing room to deal with the drones before raising the tower

then you don't even need to assign anyone to killing drones during that phase

so whenever the tank opens up all 8 players go to one side right?
because we did this 4 players in front and 4 back the tank both shooting the weak points with 1 from each group shooting the drones so it actually 3 ppl shooting the tank..

so here's what you do: call for people to step into generators after a heavy is killed (they spawn every 1.5 minutes) and after they hit 100%, the front and back weakpoint are exposed - destroy one, but leave the other for now

#

focus on cleaning up any adds up and destroying drones

#

after the second drone wave is killed, you can destroy the second weakpoint and make the tower rise

#

you then don't have drones to worry about

@tall cosmos we had similar problems. The fix is easy but not really enjoyable: Grind for gear, get enough dmg (unstoppable force + on the ropes or berserk + crit clutch) and bust the adds, works perfectly.

I had 4 people assigned to adds - one for donut shop, one for burger place, one for the spawns to the right of the 45 turret, and a 4th on the other side manning the turret and killing any adds over there

you want the two on buger place and donut shop to be your best add killers

so aggro seems to be related to proximity, how many shots you fire on the target (maybe damage too, but definitely just shooting also helps) and special mechanics

ie. destroying his healing weakpoint generates a lot of aggro

#

what I did to keep aggro was start with it of course, be closest to him and fire some shots even when he's invulnerable

#

and when he goes down the first time, stay nearby

#

heal up, shoot some adds

#

he will pause to throw a grenade that disables the turret that downed him

#

once he turns around to start chasing after you, run

i was killed up to 6 times in a row by the dogs while sitting in cover and out of LOS of the dogs, even still repeated 6 times at which time i chose to rage quit the raid. Anyone else had that (obvious) error ?

well, they're not entirely wrong

#

the issue in almost all cases of not being able to complete a fight is lack of coordination, inferior strategies, or not executing mechanics

#

200k is a bit on the low side, but the main thing dps does is give you more comfort room

#

gets adds down more quickly, less time for someone to mess up mechanics

#

as long as you can beat the enrage timers, you don't really need more dps

#

but more dps always makes things go more smoothly

How about survivability contra damage for the raid? Currently managed to wazoo my way to ca 220k armour and 220k health with all resistances at 66% higher, but I figure that at least the health probably is a bit over the top. At the same time I'd prefer to keep to max 5 red in attributes for talents.

As soon as you finish the final damage phase everyone from their corners should be getting rid of drones and getting back into their corner and restocking if needed. Then it's just a matter of burning down your corners console within a certain time frame. If someone needs help you can shoot it from the side (doesn't have to be the console the entire box underneath it is targetable aswell). What I generally do is hover in between two points near the end and if it's on my half I'll try get some rounds in the first one that pops up whilst waiting for my console to start blinking.

Bosses have a 0.25% drop chance if I remember correctly, so you should be able to get it from them after your first clear as well.

If you are talking about the boxes that give you the keys, they are on weekly reset. Not sure about the chest at the end. You might be able to open it two times in different runs

@tender hollow funny fact: 99%of players in nearly every other raid(mmo) wouldn´t never raid 5-6 hours in a row. 5h+ raiding on the same day isn´t normal raiding anymore, it´s hardcore. 😃 If y always total pug every raid and every week, y got problems, because you have always not known players with y. It´s better to find a community who wants to raid on a more regular basis and split their needed time in 2 days, if they can´t clear it in 3h.
