Ravenous is possibly from the Foundry raid, or another crafting quest
The ravenous perk, Geri and Freki, refers to the norse god Odin's two wolves
i assume either next target will be norse themed names or it's from the foundry
or something will release later this season
because they showed it off earlier on
On the flip side since im ddoing rosevelt island, are we sure we actually killed emiline shaw? They literally say that it only appears to be her getting on the boat but is never confirmed.
The ravenous perk, Geri and Freki, refers to the norse god Odin's two wolves
@severe pilot where did you see this kind of stuffs, the perks and other stuffs
@willow dirge you kill her at the zoo?
Ye she makes her final stand at the zoo
Delta 03 is the massive spoiler of this game atm

there was issue with servers throwing a lot of Delta errors after the maintenance, fixed now
I was hoping that our agent from TD1 would make an appearance in the dlc
Are their any collectables that refer to said agent?
just one from DC
we still need to know where the fk is Mayhem tho
Well perhaps she is the biggest shot caller in Hyena's Council?
I want to see how's Mayhem will be
inb4 April Kelleher is the rogue agent Jupiter
What if she is the one who brain washed keener to gather all the rogue agents into a new organization under ANNA
👀 she did know him in NY before he turned terrorist and on friendly terms
Well, Jupiter is blonde and has a name, so definitely not April Kellehr
Jupiters voice makes me moist ngl
same with ANNA, to the point were i wana replace ISAC with ANNA
WHAT IF
i really wana hear Saturn she looks cuter then Jupiter ngl
ANNA is April Kellehr's robo brain
but gotta wait till April to hunt saturn
like april died to virus but keener scaned her brain into a quantum computer network and made it the rogue network's AI
year 3 had better give us diverting options to go rogue 😄
i mean PVP needs to get more better ballanceing/adjustments before more options to go rogue imo
eather that or make it so people will be more enticed to try PVP because right now if your new to the PVP side your pretty much fed, expecally in the DZ theres no like SBMM/ no DZ for solo only gameplay
i mean like a branching story
anyone know whats in the off white box yet or has the last hunter not been found yet
prop a gun and some colors like the ivory key box
i havent hunted the NY hunters yet, still need to kill the hunter that spawns while saluteing graves while faceing the washington monument
my brother has hunted the DC hunters and he got ivory for guns and a named F2000
Be fair, Jupiter's face is half burned :P
some laser scar removal and she will be good as rain
@wild hull Can’t wait to see if she drops an exotic rifle :))
I like turtles
anyone know whats in the off white box yet or has the last hunter not been found yet
@late willow The one in Haven gives you the Golan named chest
isnt that in the season pass too
I'm not sure, the talent is quite good - Perfect Intimidate
so....in one of NGN's videos, he described how the SHD os set up. He said that the SHD is split into 3 separate, self-contained, self-governed command centers, somewhere in the midwest US. so...what if, this whole thing with the Black Tusk and rogue agents, is actually some sort of shadow war between 2 of them, and all sides are just being used to fight it?
maybe one of them decided to just take shit over, and the other is opposing them...?
south of E street NW and 19th street NW causes my isac to static, is there a scripted hunter around there?
right next to The Archive safe house
@indigo gazelle that's the angel mask hunter
Guys it's true that Imperial Dynasty can drop from cleaner mission
So both Pathaway Park and Tanker?
I saw it on the reddit guide but dont know of anyone who has it
I've got it, you can get it from Pathaway and Tanker yes
both missions are way longer than rikers ones
Do we kill Emeline Shaw at some point?
u done every mission?
I think
Manning National Zoo
It was released as part of Episode July last year. That's where we killed Emeline Shaw
OK it because I only did it on Invaded
Yes
Is that even possible? Doing an invaded mission before completing the actual mission first?
it's invaded this week
@cold bramble yup I did it and it took me until I needed some piece of targeted loot to even realize it
Yo does anyone know what the Judge key does? or what it goes to
@cold bramble I think it opens the doors behind the grate, at the end of the courthouse. You use the keyboard at the reception desk by the front doors
ok thx
spoiler alert: matchmaking is broken and half the world is stuck inside. Only ubishit would manage to pull this off.
ah good to know, i have been trying to matchmake like insane
thanks for the affirmation guys
I'd like to ask this now just to check. Did anyone replay Liberty Island/Tanker/Wall Street and got audio logs from them? Cuz I'm short on completing audio logs involving Keener, Conley, and Dragov
Why are we justified in fighting black tusk? If the president represents the US govt, and the US govt owns the division, isn't this just the US govt outsourcing the work of the division to private contractors? So who are we to resist
I've still to complete those myself Hawkster
well, the Black Tusk were the agressors
they never tried to cooperate
they attacked the network
@dim summit we arent, we deemed them hostile because they were fighting the groups we were for no apparent reason
I mean they attacked "us"
but like again if they have the backing of the president
All the president needs to do is sign away directive 51
Just to expand on what Bulan said, by attacking the SHD Network, it made things more complicated for Division agents
well, technically being president doesn't mean you can just piss all over the US, he still has a duty to ensure the US survives, which it won't under Black Tusk most likely
I mean the US will survive
Depends.
but not under current leadership
The federal govt won't under the black tusk - or maybe it's the new govt of the US
also who tf is reacting to all our messages
which goes against what the Directive 51 is all about
@quick creek we don't even know if the federal govt exists at all besides Ellis
well, I think we have to assume it does and continue our duties
Will the U.S Survive and rebirth itself with a new federal government? Or do we decide that we don't need any form of government or live out our days as nomadic communities
it's a mess don't get me wrong
but I feel that if we don't really know for certain, the best course is to assume the initial objective holds
isn't that already the case? Washington DC is just sparesely connected settlements rn
we do know a lot of the WH staff went into hiding
feels like Ellis could just sign away directive 51 there and then
You know, I wouldn't mind if we see Rogue Agents who believe in the mission and help people out but do it in their own terms.
Most Rogues we fight have an axe to grind against The Division and JTF and they're willing to hurt and kill civilians to send a message
if he wanted power he would have been better off without Black Tusk
he has to see just how easily we push them around at this point
Well not after TU8
I wouldn't be surprised if there are officials who saw Green Poison as a golden opportunity to recreate society in their own twisted way
But yeah in game black tusk havent succeeded in anything they do at all
what you say could have been very well possible, but I'd say Ellis just didn't go about it properly
he just up and vanished, he could have manipulated us more if he were more capable
even though its not explained yet, people backing BT aside ellis are implied to be part of the government so some still exist
I'm guessing the president doesn't have the kill switch to SHD or else Ellis would have shut down all our gear
yeah it seems our network is protected against that
requires a lot of effort to take it down
kinda scary to think that maybe not even the president has the ability to disband the division
yeah
Directive 51 as presented in game is very dangerous
as a plan I mean, so many risks
look what just 5 rogue agents could do, build a whole new network and a chemical weapon
I want a division game where we hunt down rogue and former agents exclusively
As the 3rd wave
Well, the chemical weapon was made by a virologist who was forced into it
We're told to hunt down all agents cos ISAC marks them as "rogue" but they've done nothing wrong until we realise ISAC has been fucking with us so we hunt down the remains of the federal govt
I honestly thought that was the story cos the d2 trailer was "what happens when our enemies come from within"
And they panned over the White House
yeah they didn't make it directly, but with the initiative look what they did, they also took over 2 entire factions
and yeah Blue Days, I remember being hyped about that part but it feels they barely developed on it
there's not much conflict within, at most just a betrayal cause Ellis leaves, but what else
They keep alluding to it via black tusk but
yeah I guess there's that but it's barely developed
I thought the new rogue cell was a new raid but sadly not
i dont believe isac is an ai 100% of the time
it's a guy watching all of our moves from a hidden room somewhere far away, speaking in a robot voice all the time
he probably even watches us during toilet breaks

when this is all over, he will have juicy pics of the next big celebrity, The Sheriff
can we have a option to switch ISAC to ANNA?
Its her voice, isn't it? 😛
i want microsoft sam
ANNA is the voice of the watch we got from Keener
microsoft sam will always be the best
Was the Keener fight buffed at all?The dude is NEVER on a cool down with his skills and he's always healing.
it was always like that, if you didnt have it happen to you first time around, you influenced the AI into defense mode
Yeah, that sucked major. The constant healing and and 3-4 skills made it unbearable. Finally got it, but it wasn't exactly fun.
Remember, emp pulse is your best friend
He was surprisingly easy for me to kill compared to how much widdz struggled to kill him.
Granted I did use all my GL's on him. I didn't give him time to heal either, kept the pressure on him.
I knew a cutscene was about to happen when he had like centimeter of health and I just GL'd him.
I had a problem taking him down the first time. the second time i killed him in under a minute by storming him and using my flamethrower and AR to take him down.
I had that fight pretty often before a 2 day break. I came back and this guy was Majin Keener. I never needed to throw EMP ‘nades and definitely considered it, but finally managed the kill anyway.
I was playing with my fiancée and she was equally as frustrated as I was.
I killed him in under a minute by storming him and using my flamethrower and AR to take him down.
@oak frigate
Something very similar ended up happening with us. He rolled into fire created by an incendiary grenade and then got distracted my my fiancee’s drone. After that it, his death was sealed.
I’m sure we’d still be fighting him now.
Nice. I dont have any friends to play with because since the division 2 and those types of games doesn't interest them at all so i usually play with randoms and stuff
May your randoms be helpful and your rolls godlike
I want to be ur friend
@simple rock you too man
Did Hell's Kitchen got attacked?
Keener invested in skill builds
Is the division (aka us) First or Second wave?
We are 2nd waves
What happened to the First Wave?
Died, missing or gone Rogue
Technically, the first wave only refers to the Agents that were activated in NYC.
Our Div 2 agent is clearly not on NYC.
although the agent we play in div1 is part of the 2nd wave
I DO wonder as to why, if we are the 2nd wave in DC, why are our agents are being activitated 7 months later in DC?
I doubt that our D.C agent is 2nd wave. The emergency call to D.C came in when the Network was sabotaged by BTSU
they were activated beforehand, they just received an emergency message to go to dc and restore the SHD network
^
if you play div1, the game explicitly tells you you're second wave
they were activated beforehand, they just received an emergency message to go to dc and restore the SHD network
@halcyon iron
Oh so where were they before? Because our Div 1 agents died in the Manhattan B.O.O
They cant be our Div 1 agents obviously
a random settlement somewhere, that opening mission is where we were before we got the alert
That random settlement you start out in div2 is hinted to be Maryland
That you were just a local agent there that responded to the network going down and were sent to DC like everyone said
That reminds me. I could probably do a fanfic involving some talks between my Div 1 agent and my Div 2 agent. I headcanon that my Div 1 agent stayed in Midtown to maintain things
B.O.O ?
Base of Operations
does somebody knows the meaning of ANNA? or we don't have that knowledge yet
all i know its probably just a girl, opposite version of isac
custom isac for Keeners rogue network?
what does ISAC stands for again?
does somebody knows the meaning of ANNA? or we don't have that knowledge yet
@full pendant
Someone on Reddit made a joke calling it "A Narcissist's Needless Assistant"
what does ISAC stands for again?
@echo acorn
Intelligent System Analytic Computer
Wait when did our div 1 agent die?
our div. 1 agent became a hunter
Thats probably unlikely since we dont know what hunters are.
russian anti shd ? 😛
that is a theory, since they only used russian guns in the first game
thats probably the most likely
Since they never talk either, its even harder to know
There has been no indication whether our Div 1 agent is alive or dead or became a Hunter.
Matter of fact, its up to you headcanon. Hell, you could headcanon that your Div 1 agent died rescuing a group of civilians from LMB.
Thought i missed something 😄
For my example, I headcanon that my Div 1 agent is effectively the acting Commander of The Division in NYC after Faye goes rogue while she's maintaining things in Midtown
my Div 1 agent became a feral man and is running around naked with a stick in midtown
cause of combat trauma
That's one way to headcanon your agent. I envision mine as a kinda strong-willed person. No matter how bad shit was thrown at her, she always stood tall
Somewhat the opposite of Keener 😛
So when is ttbk getting fixed again?
No date yet. But it'll be part of the next update
its appearently a spoiler, cant tell you 😛
whats ttbk
time to be killed
If their outfit wasn't so fucking garish, I would lol
Anyone here ever play City Of Heroes(RIP) a while back? I wish WoNY was like a City of Villians type of expansion where we can turn rogue and go against the division with the Rogue Network.
That'll be cool.
I don’t agree with dudes who are saying that hunters are Russian
nor with a theory that these guys are 3rd wave
u guys ever seen hunters up close ?
their moveset is twitchy as FUCK
like it’s super weird
and with that kind of gear(heavy plate carrier ,weapon and a mask)
they’re doing something really weird
I don’t think that PMC/US Government would hire someone crazy af u know
and in Washington
they don’t even serve their purpose anymore
they just wait for you to activate a puzzle
not going around and killing shit
Guys it is true that the Imperial Dynasty drops from Tanker? Cause I ve done 28 runs and haven't got it
Saaaame
I seen 8 people got it too
I can feel the game telling me one more go and you'll get it but it nearly 7AM
hecc
Rng in this game is something else
they should ramp up drop rates
by a little bit
What if Aaron predicted Faye's betrayal
He probably did
oh he def did, he straight up asks if you trust her
the audio logs in NY in retrospect really did show her fall
especially with her sisters death
someone extremely loyal like faye doesn't change like that in a short span of time
it happened WAY too fast even with the loss of her sister
👀 just an fyi, the "call to DC" happened 7 months after the outbreak and faye's sister should've been alive also (as faye was still not rogue), and warlords happened just a month after
-one month-
hey anyone have a NY world boss map?
I wonder if division maps is updated yet
@inland grotto No but I know many Named Bosses spawn at the Christmas Market and some place called Swamp near Wall Street, it's the ship in the city.
Unofortunately, NYC map didn't update with new audio logs yet. I tried to replay the main missions hoping to get them (IIRC, replaying Pentagon missions did net more Brenner audio logs).
I'm like 1 audio log left to finish Dragov's, 2 left to finish Keener's, and 3 left to finish Conley's
Same here
Exact same numbers
1 left on Kajika too cause I missed it during investigation sadly
Any new hunters so far? Drama/Weirdo, Camo, Carbon, Angel, Psycho/Drip. What’s missing?
2 more NY hunters that are yet to be found
I can't help but wonder how absurd it is that within two weeks of WONY's release, we got locations of audio logs related to other people (Rhodes, Kajika, Faye, Benitez, etc...), but we've yet to get all audio logs for Keener, Conley, and Dragov
Now i believe it's only 1 set of hunters left to be found
actually just the one now, pier hunter is solved
@halcyon iron please tell me more
@wild lion i believe it was a case of "the boy who cried wolf"
So where can I get the info about that? Kotaku writes there is a discord group that tries to decipher the clues. I’d really like to help
I never really understood Theo's motivation to work with Keener. Is it because he doesn't trust the government and believes that the government is pulling the wool over everyone's head? Because that's really ironic given his actions.
If that were the case, I don't know why he'd work for The Division in the first place.
@hollow jolt a gullible kid being manipulated by someone giving what he wants, "listening to him and agreeing"
He does seem way younger than all the other agents.
Also, Keener's not the real villain is he? He's not the guy who released the Green Poison.
Theo is def big gullible
I mean, he seemed the most likeable, if he was quite gullible.
He probably joined the division because he wanted to dig deeper into his father's death
That's probably true.
Which really with the stuff we've encountered really does seem like an actual hit on him.
He brings up a lot of valid points, so I'm not surprised. But I think he fell down the slippery slope of "government officials bad, therefore rest of government is also bad"
Also why would The Dept of Homeland Security have top secret files on the top officials
that doesn't make any sense
When I said valid points, I meant how his father actually died and that there's basically no evidence on his cause of death.
The problem Theo has (like most conspiracy theorists)
Is they have a truth and they look for clues to support that truth
I see.
Still waiting for how the story will move upon the Black Tusk because they seemed to have been sidelined a bit storywise
Like after Camp White Oak it's just ???????????
Well with Wony we now know there are agents deflecting to BT
And it's possible they knew about the division before it was activated
Let's not forget the Pentagon which we set out to stop them from taking the bio-refusion reactor as well as rescuing Tchernenko from BT's clutches
I dont have the expansion so not sure if it talks about it but I'd love to catch that traitorous president 😛
thing is Black Tusk also lost a lot of personnel
White Oak twice, the Zoo competition also
they might need time to rebuild
Schaeffer sounded so sad in white oak and liberty island :(
i somehow have some sympathy for him, has good tech and stuff but his personell is just useless
@lunar night Technically, its only one left since there's still Jack Bonney left.
Hell, we even killed the candidates of his team in Invaded White Oak lmao
I love schaeffer lines
i think its because keener had resources to help him find the guy who killed his father if he believes that so he just decided to join up with keener
plot twist the division are the bad guys
When we were at the part with the messages in the final mission to get keener I was playing with 3 randoms and when the "Do you trust eachother" text came on we all actually spread out and got ready to fight because we thought it would make us fight lmfao.
I totally thought it was about to start PvP
So i was in Dark zone with my squad, then 1 player clearing landmarks with hack that can shoot through wall with crossbow shooting like machine gun then gone rogue and nailed our squad.
and you didnt report him
i reported his profile for hacking ofc. But i'm not sure they will ban him or not. He's SHD level was 907 too
-;+
does the survivalist perk for outgoing healing apply to self healing as well?
yes
Guys
what if I automatically start trash talking when I kill m1a player in dz?
Is it okay?
@upper harness in the dz? yes, keep it "clean" though because you will be reported 100% otherwise
Yerp
ok so im doing the mission in the new york expansion where you have to wait for the crane, how the hell are you supposed to do this because every enemy bullet sponges and the flamethrowers get very annoying because they eat your health and you cant do anything about it
is it even possible to do solo?
...as soon as i ask that i blitz it, im smart L O L
@pale juniper I did all of NY solo 🔫👍🏻😀🌭
yeah i was having some issues, then a rando enemy dropped an aug and suddenly i blitzed
ok i found a room in ny, i cannot figure out how to get inside, the building is on the street named robert f wagner sr place, id post a screenshot but o cant in this channel
Yeah, at this point I really wanna go rogue or join black tusk since they seem to have superior resources
Was having a conversation with a friend few weeks ago and we were both agreeing on how Black Tusk would beat The Division in real life. The only reason we're a competition for them in the game is obviously because we play and control the Agent
The Black Tusk has way cooler stuff tbh
in terms of robotics anyway
The hounds are pretty cool, and they get to control massive drones with miniguns and missiles, and minitanks
although I'd like to play as a proper tank class, with a real minigun like the Black Tusk tanks have
or be a drone controller and just pilot a massive flying weapons factory
that would be cool
Nah sorry, I'll easily bip you with the classic M1A and shield combo :^)
what happened to bringing back the LMB faction?
They've been tied in with the black tusk. The black tusk absorbed the LMB
But I think you only see them in legendary. I could be wrong tho
They introduced the black tusk rushers which are meant to be a take on the LMB ones but they wear baseball caps instead of gasmasks. -Because everything has a goddamn baseball cap now.
BT has their own sweatshop making baseball caps with their prisoners
Does anyone know how to unlock the last 4 hunters?
@stark pollen let's just be honest, you don't really see the LMB, they all just look like black tusk :^)
@runic gyro True but they look kind of LMB-ish when you play on legendary.
yeah, where most players won't be at lmao
😆 only the hardcore of the hardcore even knew about the books mentioning the LMB + BT merging
😔 i consider myself one of the hardcore but i didnt even know about them either, i need to step it up
what's LMB?
Last man battalion from division 1
Black tusk is much more technologically advanced
they have better backing also
True Sons are more like LMB, a local power
Black Tusk have a presence all over the country technically
LMB were hired to guard certain buildings and assets in NY during the quarantine basically, stuff belonging to big corporations and such, but soon they found themselves abandoned
so they decided to try and establish peace by themselves, by taking control of the entire quarantine area
I guess that didn't turn out so well because the Rikers are now squatting in NYSE?
they allied themselves with Keener eventually and helped him take down the Division local commanders
Keener betrayed em and fled with Vitaly and yeah, LMB lost
most of their territory in NY was taken over by JTF and Division
and their commander was killed
now, a split happened
part of what was left joined Black Tusk, the other seems to have joined the JTF, the ones you see getting attacked by Rikers at NYSE
interesting
as a faction though, they were certainly the top dogs in NY
I mean, yeah, they were probably organized like the TS
the Hyenas and Outcasts had to team up to fight against the TS
yeah True Sons were also top dogs in DC
it's a bit funny that
True Sons are mainly ex-JTF, and look what they could accomplish
With Cleaners in DC though, I'm surprised there isn't more lore between them and the Outcasts
but our allied JTF seem to be amateurs
True Sons are mostly former military
yeah, but they were initally part of the JTF
true
as for Outcats, I doubt they'd get along with Cleaners
maybe it's just a small fraction of the JTF that are actually military
there's numerous infected people within the Outcasts
well, yes, but they both have similar and polar opposite mantras
and Cleaners want to eradicate the virus and any infected
yeah true, Outcasts are willing to weaponize it
I'd say, it's more about killing everyone who they deem guilty, which is mostly everyone
rather than everyone healthy
they found proof that JTF isn't really responsible, neither is Division, but Emeline decided to hide that evidence from the rest of the outcasts
so they're being mislead too
👀 outcasts just like fire, cleaners uses it as their main weapon
i.e the cleaner name :x
Outcasts = the edgy emo kids
Cleaners = the edgy but not emo kids with superiority complex
Rikers = the jocks
True Sons = the kids who did ROTC
Hyenas = typical wild kids who are screaming down the hallway
Black Tusk = the nerds
The Division = decently smart people who's tired of all the high school bullshit
fire is the great cleanser, nothing survives it
pretty sure the Outcasts is the byproduct of pre-True Sons Captain Ridgeway
they are yea
they have a reason to be angry, but they took the anger to a whole new level
but that also meant that he was JTF until he was arrested
yes, but he was trialed for it
and then he escaped
Most of what remained of LMB got folded in the Black Tusk as shotgun rushers and supports.
They appear in Black Tusk regardless of difficulty. So if you see a Black Tusk goon rushing you with a shotgun or a Black Tusk putting support station to heal his allies, that's them.
huh, never saw this chat, this looks interesting
What the fuck is the DDP-52 razorback
it's like a big robot mommy full of worker drones
Its a platform that disperses drones. We stopped Black Tusk from deploying one on D.C during Operation Dark Hours
so the off-white chest grants a named golan chest piece and a dye thats full black, should be useful
In any case, I hope they keep the channel open and at least change it to story-lore cuz its looking likely it'll be closed by next month
so the off-white chest grants a named golan chest piece and a dye thats full black, should be useful
@final raven
Full black? Fuck yeah
full black is neat
perfect intimidate is balls, hoping it gets reworked.
makes it an exotic chest piece, gives us enhanced melee damage, or deploys smokescreen when we lose our armour granting like 50% damage resistance in both dz and lz and
nameplate invisibility in the DZ if non rogue.
intimidate might work well with that upcoming exotic rifle
it makes it easy to get bonus armor
perfect intimidate is okay with syscorruption
Upcoming exotic rifle?
2 barels
Its called Two Barrels?
its either ravenous or regulus
1 is an exotic pistol
and the other is a rifle i think
I suppose they're coming in an update that involves the True Sons raid
yeah i hope 1 of them is
if both of the exotic locked behind raid
residentsleeper
Two of the gearsets that were datamined (Which I presume to be part of Raid 2's loot pool) doesn't look bad either
:o where the source
datasheet from the community discord
Talent: Geri and Freki
On trigger-pull, fire both barrels at once.
When fired from the right shoulder, hits add offensive primers, and defensive primers when fired from the left shoulder.
Hits from one shoulder will detonate all of the opposite shoulder's primers when present.
When detonated, each offensive primer deals 75% weapon damage, while each defensive primer grants 2% bonus armor for 5 seconds.
Primer effectiveness is doubled at 10 stacks.
You know, its unfortunate we can't read the bios of Jupiter's other lieutenants until they're available for the Manhunt
yeah honestly i was quite curious
Not really? Most of them are ex-convicts and shady characters who took advantage of the post-pandemic D.C and formed a group
Hell, the only reason there's a Hyena council is because they were getting torn to shreds by True Sons
Did you do the investigations?
Who's behind the black tusk?
We don't know who they are specifically, but we do know they are powerful politicians who are using them to pave the way for a new dynasty
And given Theo's audio logs, even though he's a bit of a nut, I'm more inclined they're trying to transform America into a fascist regime
what was the rogue network that aaron keener activated at the end of the story?
pretty sure it was an "update" to the shd network that theo "upgraded" but i was drunk when i played that mission so I can't be to sure..
It's a system that's piggybacking over ISAC's database.
Basically, ANNA comprises the Rogue Network.
One thought, why are ISAC still available for Rogue agents? why don't ISAC just cut off the connection to rogue agents to prevent them from using all those techs ?
P L O T A R M O R
Unless the SHD have already expected that their agent will go rogue
Anyone lese not miss Manny that much? I went into DLC and realized i basically heard jackrabbit from him and honestly i kinda dont miss him
holy crap the keener boss is legit unfair
is it impossible to do solo
because all that equipment and stuff and then healing himself aswell as teh flashbangs and the flame gets annoying quick when you start moving on your own after knockback
have you tried the EMP pulse skill?
I did it solo quite easy
well, it is maintenance time
DPS glitch is gone
no it isnt
it is not
there is a new way to do it, along with being able to stack talents onto a gun lmao
Meh, glitches like that are nothing more than for boring people who just wanna breeze trough the game like its peanut butter
Once you done it for an hour, it gets fucking boring
Its uninteresting
you'd rather feel like you're shooting nerf bullets?
Yes. If you consider a Baker's Dozen build a nerf bullet
Besides, the last thing I want is make challenging pathetically easy like it was in the previous TUs
There will be always folks that feel they "beat" the game or "dominated server" while cheating - kudos to them, god speed. Not for me ...
^^^ whatever floats your boat, I've done almost everything already so it might be fun to just one shot some bosses
^^^ Cuz that is not possible without cheating - you super player you that passed everyting has all the exotic, maxed gear and such. Cut the crap -
I have a feeling they were too overzealos in their recruitment
they might not have thought the world would come to this
fuck man some of the uhh
contaminated zone echos are really dark
jeez
@wild lion i think the shd actually has good recruiters, its just that really fucking smart people are often mentally ill in some way
Let's just say their vetting process wasn't very through to say the least
I believe there is one audio log of each of the five rogue agent we killed about two recruiters discussing each of the agents, and it's very interesting to listen to
*agents
I don't know exactly where to find them, just that I've located them playing the missions and such
some are found by scavenging outside of mission areas, Vivian's for sure
yeah, Vivian's I remember the girl saying that she needed to be trained to be good, and the dude saying he only wanted agents who were ready to go now, in case they needed to be activated at that moment
really paints a picture of how messy the process was
and I remember on more than one occasion they passed the application to further review even though they disagreed on whether or not they were a good fit
now I'm not on any admissions team or anything so I have no idea how recruiting goes, but that doesn't sound like you should just pass them over because your recruiter partner says so
*-+*3
do you think there's anything like the division irl
The 4 Hunters in NYC, if we die to them, do we have to go through all the steps again with shooting the targets, etc?
TBH
It seems like it happened a lot
Kelso got fast tracked, Neptune hid he was a narcissist, and Keener was a bit too perfect
@wild lion i think the shd actually has good recruiters, its just that really fucking smart people are often mentally ill in some way
@forest scarab I also think the initial JTF screwed over the First Wave Division agents hard core
Didn’t they say Dragov was fine except they had to make sure they didn’t snap him
Yeah. But when he realized The Division was as corrupted as the police force he worked for, he called it quits
so did keener actually believe what he said or was he really a homocidal maniac?
I still cannot forgive this, you can't tell me "I don't want to work with the Division anymore" and you associate with Rikers of all things
even if the Division is corrupt somewhere higher up, Rikers?
they leave dead bodies around as decorations
@wild lion I honestly think he believed what he was saying. He sees the world rotten to the core and is willing to do what's necessary regardless of the body counts
Both things can be true
Keener is such the manipulator he manipulated himself
where is the location with like 8 outcast chests?
@cold bramble maybe, but then again, The Division itself was classified (until Directive 51 anyway) so we wouldn't know about it. The feds would try everything else first, including the military, before something like The Division, which is the red button of red buttons.
I think that all the Rogue Agents in NYC fell down the same path that the Outcasts did: they were left behind and uncared for, and wanted vengance, but each had their own personal reasons.
Dragov in particular did not like that his father was a criminal, and sought to work in the justice department, only to fall back to being a king of the criminals.
So perhaps he came to the conclusion that everyone is a criminal, and that the Division in particular is responsible for ditching the First Wave. Which is ironic, because the whole point of The Division is that you're reliant on only yourself, and nobody else.
I don't remember Vivian's story.
Theo's is ironically everything that Keener kind of hates; no accountability, runs away; talks smack but can't hit back. He's also a delusional child obsessed with his father's death and like Dragov hates the US Government (or certain people in it anyway).
Kajika's background is like ??? I played the mission a few times but I'm not sure what he was trying to accomplish really, or what is end goal was. Kelso does say that he is old-fashioned and keeps a lot of secrets in his own head so we may never know.
Keener is just Emeline Shaw but more dangerous. Kind of reminds me of Handsome Jack tbh.
1
Why do you guys think The Division never thought to check the DARPA Labs at the pentagon before Black Tusk? It seems like shit there could've been very helpful, especially EXACTO rounds
I imagine a lot of their stuff comes from DARPA so it seems like it would be a good idea to at least secure the lab.
the division has a private r&d facility that produces their tech
completely separate from the us gov
although you have a good point that the division should have made that a priority
Ok, so we can assume that is well secured, but DARPA is still one of the leading military R&D divisions, it seems like something to be well secured
Vivian's story was that she lost her family to the Green Poison. Then after the DZ shitshow in NYC, she was found by the Cleaners barely alive and was set up there as member until she took leadership after Joe Ferro's death.
Later on during the events of Coney Island, Keener used her to take a hit at Tchernenko, believing he was the one who unleashed the Green Poison, hence why the Cleaners caused a ruckus at Coney Island after we secured the virologist.
And as we know later, she and her Cleaners set up shop in Two Bridges area, killing any JTF in the area.
And the rest is... history?
anyone heard of marvin?
Uh.... no?
hes the leader of the rogues and actually puppets the government
Marvin .. ? what's his full name
Marvin .. ? what's his full name
@west zephyr
His name isn't Marvin, it's Joe
the suspension is killing me damnit, just ask what Joe's last name is
Who's Joe ? (for the sake of the meme)
joebama
tell me about it. been chucking shock trap at everyone and never seems to hit anyone
pfft think about it this way: my stupid brain intepreted EMP grenade as shock and i spent so long trying to shock enemies with it
finally i got a cluster of 4 enemies and they got grenaded by my EMP grenade and i sat there like an idiot wondering why the challenge was completed lmao
@glad spruce you saved me in this one
You're welcome
I'll try this later I was really thinking about it , I tried shock trap and it is a disaster for me
Do the federal emergency bunker after the room with the trucks you go into a war room kind of thing and there is an electrical box on the wall behind the window I used that because 3 engines walked up to the window and I shot it and got the complete
Ngl surprised at how relatable the cleaners have become....
They always had a relatable goal since the first game. Its the means and methods of their goal that makes them questionable
Besides that, they also incinerate even their own members if they catch them coughing on the off-chance they may have got Green Poison
Wait, isn't the real villain the dude who released the Green Poison initially?
That villain is killed by keener in TD1?
He died by his own virus
Long story short: He's a megalomaniac with a bad case of social darwinism who unleashed the virus to cull the human population
Well it did work congrats on him.
vitaly, the other half of that "super villain" from d1 is still alive
he has the red death on his head too now
I don't blame the guy. He was held hostage by Keener and was forced to make the virus for the rogue agent against his will
Oh well, we recovered him in Coney Island and he should be able to do something right in the White House with the biofusion reactor we got in the Pentagon
he valued his life more then other people, especially after he saw what green poison did (that should've gave him the "courage" he needed to make the right choice)
hes equally to blame
He's still gonna be needed since he has the skills necessary to produce more antivirals.
So no, we're not gonna kill him
didn't say anything about killing him
just saying he was still alive
also, pretty sure we have other people to do the antivirals now since they have the base to work on
we don't need him, he literally just makes things "easier"
Well... as evil as the thing he did, yes it does make things easier to have him. And with the situation the country is in, you kind of want it to be easier for the antivirals rather than making it harder. In a situation like that it is more grey than just black and white in some scenarios.
What Ducky said
Sure, there are other people with medical skills who are willing to lend a hand to get the antivirals ready for deployment. But its better to have someone with expertise in that field to help make things easier
Besides the Black Tusk, there's also the threat of Rogue Agents with the activation of their network. It might be hyperbolic, but Rogue Agents are a far bigger threat
for now
I guess it's a big advantage that he made the virus himself also
who better to find a way to counteract it?
I mean the new strain
None other than Tchernenko.
We could've detained Amherst, but he died by his own creation and was more than happy to cull human populations in his own fucked up, darwinistic, bullshit way
I wonder though
Did someone supply Amherst?
You could "make" smallpox but it would be a weaker strain.
And apparently irl they do track genetic material to make small pox
I'd imagine it'd be a lot harder in real life to do what Amherst did considering there's only like 3/4 biolabs in the world that deal with extremely deadly viruses. But it's for the sake of a game so ofc it's not gonna be entirely like real life.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were government officials who covertly supported Amherst in his goals and used the Green Poison as a pretext to build a new America in their image.
some solid spoilers here
you gonna spend most ur time doing the following:
- dying to people who glitch
- not being able to speak cause bug
- game crashing randomly all the time
- no one in raids speaks english
- people who cant kill the heavy in raids
- ui layout poopy
- all ur grinded work for nothing cause game broke
- barely can patch dps glitch
- still hasn't fixed talent stacking
- cover system very unreliable when trying to dive to another objecy
Yeah. Cool. Ok
- game makes u want to glock urself
You need to self-evaluate your life if a fucking video game makes you wanna kill yourself
i don't actually want to kms fam
it's to express frustration
division 2 is a solid concept failed twice
- region lock, nope
lol
didn't ask if you cared
so both you and kelso use glock 17s in the Keener cutscene, why do we not have playable glock 17s
^ Its interesting seeing how some weapons are named SIG (like the rifle) do they have actual sig suer markings as well?
Ive just never bothered to inspect a weapon before. So the grip actually says Sig Suer on it? Or just the stippling matches the IRl grip?
it has a big "SIG" imprint on one of the pistols, can't remember which one
I just checked, I don't have it anymore, must have trashed it
i definitely wouldn't mind an automatic pistol
93R?
hell, one of the "pistols" is a straight-up smaller shotgun
so a Glock 17 would definitely not be far fetched
if we can have a "back up shotgun" then surely we can have a "back up SMG" or "back up AR"
Not to make it like CoD, but I want throwable knives
the fact that we don't actually have melee weapons in the game is kind of crazy
I'd like to be able to equip some sort of battle axe and shield and rush in
I became known in the Battlefield series for my knife kills...
nail gun perhaps?
Exotic Claymore that restores HP on it or something
i mean not even a glock 18
just a regular glock 17 would be interesting enough, because its just a semi automatic like the P250
Literally reading this channel because of point number 3 @wide olive
Yeah put we have enough semi auto pistols
Glock 18 as a full auto would be interesting
Except for the D50, and excluding revolvers, they’re basically all the same
At least that’s how they feel to me
Chainsaw as a signature weapon?
You need to collect fuel to run it and killed enemies fully resupply all ammo to you and your group members.
wait, that sounds like another game, hmmmmmmmmmmmm
how about kill enemies fully resupply all ammo and armor kits to you and your group members
although that still wouldn't be a melee weapon
I wouldn't be opposed to a fifth weapon slot for melee weapons
hard to imagine that Division agents wouldn't carry around some sort of knife with them to cut things
Not sure if having a chainsaw as a signature weapon is a good idea. If it doesn't rip enemies in half, people would go angry.
I think Flamethrower is enough as far as sadistic signature weapons go
Melee weapons as next specialization
@scarlet silo Either one of the 4 Hunters that spawn together, or Divide, or the duo Hunters (Drip and Psycho) or Neurotic
It was Neurotic. I got him, thanks though @tepid ibex
@scarlet silo You're welcome Lawhorn! Don't forget to support your local LMB!
The Last Man Battalion and you, rebuilding Manhattan one block at a time.
As endearing as that seems....
I'm afraid I'm gonna have to remain supportive of the United Sect. "Without regard to race or creed, brothers and sisters, unbreakable."
I'd rather die with my brothers and sisters, and give hell to others on the way 😛
I still love Parnell's little waddle walk in his footprints
It's like... who the fuck walks like that? xD
guys when is the second raid being released?
and glorykills like in doom
ripping arms of and spanking them with it
would be dope
@chrome kayak Spring this year
I think melee weapons shouldn't be a specialization, but their own weapon category
You can left click to stab and right click to throw (knives regenerate after a few seconds)
and you can backstab enemies if you're behind them (the hand will raise to show that you can backstab)
Melee combat in this game could be cool
however, for the hounds, I would like a sort of controller
Imagine hand to hand combat in PVP or vs a Black Tusk or something
or they can make a new skill
Time your attacks, you have to press certain keys at certain times to match your opponents
Something like that would be awesome
they'd have to make our movements more fluid for melee to feel good, right now it's way too clunky sprinting around
True
I would be in favor of a Hound skill, who has a few variants. The base variant would be a Carrier variant that increases your inventory by like 25 slots. They don't have an activation time; rather, they work like the shields: they have a fuckton of HP and regenerate after like 10 seconds if their HP is reduced to 0 (all items are immediately put into your stash on death), but otherwise, once called, they will stay. You can also "put them away" by tapping your bound button, but they drop all items right there if you ask them to leave.
In addition to the Carrier Hound, we can have a Suppressor Hound with a minigun, a Demolisher Hound with a grenade launcher, and an Eliminator Hound with a high-caliber cannon.
If we want to get a bit fancy we can also have an Annihilator Hound that carries a rack of missiles that auto-locks and fires guided missiles, and a Jammer Hound that just releases EMP pulses to disable nearby enemy robotics and skills, etc (the Jammer is also immune to enemy EMP pulses)
And just so that every specialization has their own robot doggo killer we can throw in a Flamethrower Hound that spews flames.
damn that would be cool
I know most of these exist in the form of turrets and drones but a tanky robo-doggo would be pretty cool
it's about time we got fancier gear too
Keener can easily hack a Marauder and a bunch of dogs
The cooldown would have to be long though
maybe 60s
Because they would be tanky and have a lot of HP and they only go away once you tell them to or once they die
I would also like to control a Marauder, that would be pretty fun.
no, they use the last one they had at the moment
Schaffer mentioned backup, but it would have taken time to get to Liberty island
so they definitely have more of them
I always thought it meant personnel
well, yeah, but I don't think the Black Task would just run out of Marauders
maybe in a later mission we might be able to get one once we deal a significant blow to the Black Task and steal their tech
after all, their hounds are from DARPA
despite the shortage of people and the rogue cell, it might be worth finding out where their HQ is
and attacking that
anyway, I think it would be cool to sit in the White House and do Drone missions where you fly around trying to chase down a boss or something
you can fly over all of DC except for the DZ and you can just fly the thing around
maybe you spot some Heroic convoys and you try to take out the convoy before they destroy you
Its one night till Tuesday. And what that means? More lore! :
We need new specialization
and also more tacticool helmets
and also more tacticool helmets
And we also need some tacticool vests and helmets
@quick creek also BTSU don’t have an HQ
the main HQ must be inaccessible
since it’s prolly something like mother base from MGS
new raid man
@fast wigeon what u mean lol
He means the second raid that's supposed to come on Spring
@cold bramble disable dx12 worked for me, although if the setting doesn't work ubi shouldn't have put it in the game
Seems to have worked for me aswell, 0 crash so far @wide olive
it's real but her turning was way too quick so something is up with her
literally 1 month happened between the "call to dc" and warlords, her sister should be alive before the call
hmm
i mean yeah it is too quick
she almost lost her leg at the beginning
and look, a month im an evil bstd
keener took two installments and a DLC lol
Do keep in mind its six months after the events of The Division 1 as far as the Division 2 goes.
With WONY, that puts it 8 months later.
Base -> 6, Black tusk invasion happens at/near 7 @glad spruce
Yeah
now that you brought it up
i am a month off

still 2 months.....👀
i guess that is enough time for grief based actions to happen but it just feels too quick
guess we'll see her real motives sometime soon assuming its not in an expansion
Next season?
still a long time away bruh
If you look the situation
even if you look at the situation, we still have 2 months worth of content to go through for SEASON 1
Are we looking at a steady 4 seasons a year thing?
I've been watching the announcement trailer again and it's been funny hearing them foreshadowing shadowy figures pulling the strings for Black Tusk and who knows what else
God knows how much I like the lore of The Division. Hell, I wrote a 7-page long google doc of my Division 2 agent and her exploits throughout the game
@glad spruce that's dope as hell. Do you have it posted anywhere?
anyone for buliit king farm
anyone for buliit king farm
@craggy talon technically the call to DC is 7 months after Division 1 so a lot could've happened between then, Paul Rhodes turned into a punk and form the recordings we've found the JTF screwed over the first wave agents really bad so who knows what else happened
It also seems like Black Tusk had a plan to target division agents and she might have already been leaning towards them and was finally pushed over the edge
I have a question about Castle. what happened to him in the Division Canon?
I played a mission once and I heard a name drop
they are talking about the castle settlement and its destroyed for ever
they gassed it in the beginning of division 2 i think you get called to help them right after they are attacked if I remember
I wish that it was revived after the capital was retaken by the Division so there'd be a third settlement
because just seeing it as black is kind of spooky and disappointing
unless they plan to do that later
It’s eerie walking through there. Tone, mood, and pretty much everything there is so spot on you can really get a melancholic feeling there
The Castle existed in the book. And Iirc, Castle falls in the comic. Which is a shame because they introduce all these cool characters in the book and comic that you then never meet in the game.
I haven’t read any of the lore most of what I know of is from the recordings you hear in game here and there
There's an actual book available? The story lines in the game doesn't seem to tell much. Sometimes you get past a certain mission and want them to go into detail and the game recordings just kinda stops... leaves me hanging.
There's two books. The recent one, Broken Dawn, involves April Kelleher tangling with a Division Agent hunting a rogue agent who sided with Black Tusk
I think the as far as the story in the game goes, it's kind of cliche
I mean, Faye was a genuine surprise, but her regression was too fast
and you never see any characters becoming "un-rogue"
it's always agents going rogue to Black Tusk, but you never see any rogue agents coming back
c
I mean, surely there might be some agents who "defected" but are actually spies, that would also be pretty cool
Theo tried to misle you into thinking that he was a spy or something but it was obvious he was lying through his teeth
I'd like to play through a mission your mission is to hunt down a rogue agent only to found out they weren't rogue at all after nearly defeating them, only to fight the real boss afterwards
I feel like agents who go rogue have to go through a massive psyche shattering to leave in the first place. All agents that we know that have gone rouge have lost their faith in the united states period.
the division didn't prepare for the possibility of "ptsd" from the extreme circumstances they were going to put their agents in
i feel like they should've prepared for it lol
just because they looked mentally fit on paper doesn't mean they would be afterwards
Like it's silly cause they were aware
Just didn't care or rather they didn't believe the worst would happen
I think it's more imperative to spend less time over SHD recruitment process and focus on the present.
One way or another, Black Tusk and their bosses will get their due. But for now, Keener's Rogue Network is gonna be a huge problem to deal with for a while
From what I've gathered of the recordings it's more the JTF screwed over the first wave agents more than anything. Left them to die and/or turned into the very factions we fight now. A prologue depicting wave 1 when this all started before the first division would be really insightful
NGN lore videos covers that a little bit more.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpaUkm6GiZodNyurBU4uhrBDu6UGvwjk1 (coincidentally, I was watching that yesterday evening)
I think that the most surprising thing from those video was that I learned that the Directive 51 is an actual real-world directive signed by Bush in 2007; the whole SHD/The Division sleeper agents is extrapolated from that.
I love the ngn lore videos
Yeah they're great, thanks @indigo halo
it's a bit sad that the wikis are a bit scarce regarding lore information (I've started a personal project revolving around that lore so I'm starting to dig everywhere)
(and yes, the books are already in my cart, but I'm waiting for the slowdown of our own pandemic before ordering them)
Oh snap there's books?!!!! I loved the collectors edition book that came with the first Division, really gave you an in-depth look at what went down. We definitely could use more of that!
There is also comics I just discovered
yes, there's New York Collapse, and Broken Dawn
first one is basically the survival manual gifted to April Kelleher with notes (it's the notes we find as agents in the first game)
second is apparently a novel, starring April and a division agent
😆 April has lore in division 1
(you can replace the .com by whatever country you live in, it usually matches)
but remember to check at your local bookstore as well, they might have it, maybe cheaper.
damn, and now I see there's also a The World of The Division https://www.amazon.com/World-Tom-Clancys-Division/dp/1506711049
(and it's double the price in euro hardcover than in USD hardcover. 😦 )
@cold bramble she also sort of appears in TD2
there's an echo next to a campsite where she encounters two BTSU.
I have the survival manual, yeah the world of the division is what I just found
hey Hawkster want to talk about glitches
I wonder how many agents went to BT
Probably dozens
and if they actually helped in taking down the SHD network
You know, I was listening to the Audio Logs involving a Rogue Agent who helped supply Rikers, attacking the Secure Quarantine Center, and then dragging both Division and JTF to the Underground during the first game
I remember that one
It does make me wonder where she went. Or if Saturn is the same woman caused the SQZ bombing a while back given her territory. Though that's baseless speculation on my part.
In any case, whereever that Rogue Agent is, I'm sure as hell my Division 1 agent has a score to settle with her
As far as I'm concerned, she's no better than Keener
all the rogues shall suffer
Its one thing to feel abandoned and get fucked over by bureaucracy. Its another thing to supply lunatics to bomb a building, dragging both Division and JTF to the underground of NYC, then make scattered audio logs trying to justify your actions
I mean, I can understand why she felt abandoned. But I didn't buy her story when she said that me and the assholes I kill are the same.
Almost makes me wish I could have a face-to-face combat to her
shield melee kill
That'd be funny
Though I believe the activation of the Rogue Network will be their downfall
I can't remember, what was the original name for the Dark Zone? As in when it was built by CERA and the JTF?
Decontamination Zone? Containment Zone? What's the justification behind the actual "DZ 0x" number painted on the walls/entrance?
It was called Quarantine Zone. And it was built by both CERA and JTF
As for the numbers. Well, the DZ in Midtown Manhattan was quite huge, so they put numbers to designate areas within it
so the whole DZ marking came after it became the actual Dark Zone then. Works for me!
is there an estimation of the number of deaths caused by Green Poison in canon?
(although it is stated that the virus was designed to reach a 80-90% mortality rate, so I could start from that and extrapolate)
Well, the Green Poison did what Amherst set out to do. Kill hundreds of thousands of people, causing a total collapse of civilization, etc...
No you were correct @indigo halo it stands for Decontamination Zone
Ah!
but I can't find any reference in the wiki to that denomination
was it in the audiologs?
What happened to Doctor Kandle?
So I just took down Dragov. Dude's a douche.
I haven't done much else in WONY, but I hope the other Rogues have better stories than "I decided the criminals are better than the Division because we're family."
Oh really? I didn't have any trouble with him. Only died once because I got greedy with the minigun.
the shock trap guy who pops steam and runs away and the steam tics damage directly to your HP is kinda annoying
The... The what?
Oh. I thought this was the Dragov fight lol. Gonna say I did not notice that.
Gotta say I expected a fight closer to how the rogue agents from D1 or the Hunters fight. Dragov was a letdown, even if I guess it was a little unique.
it was unique in terms of the 3 shield fucks sticking togeather and flashing you 1-1-1-1
or at least thats what he did vs me
pretty much perma blinded then the nail guns causeing bleed proc stacks
Honestly, as soon as the lights went off I popped my drone and turret and then never saw his friends again.
Oh you’re talking about Kajika. He’s a coward and very annoying to deal with
@cold bramble She moved to a facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan to work on a cure
Oh, and Dragov does have a pretty interesting story
kajika was more fun than theo soleley because theo's whole decoy gimmick was underused and kinda too easy
dragov's missions were pretty.... meh
and vivian was a ton of fun
FIRE CRANE
Hey so, can new "Agents" be recruited into the SHD?
At the current state of the world, I doubt they can be recruited. A lot of agents were activated during the outbreak
like say
a dead agent gives their ISAC brick to a person who they think can be an agent
aye. i remember seeing that
basically passing the agent status. its could be also how enemys get a hold of shd tech equips too. stealing the brick and watch
just... be aware of activating the safefail protocol and blow up the whole squad with seeker mines
kek
Dargov isn't hard
Go crossy
Even a 360 shield can't take explosive
Or go to the middle by the ammo and drop your hive and turret
But Dragov is the best rogue boss for me
It like we are the villian instead of him
You may be thinking that until you finish the whole story
I mean, no, fuck Dragov. He decided literal violent street gangs and ex-cons were better people because he decided the government and SHD are corrupt. He chose his sideand got what he deserved.
SHD might be grey in morality, but I've yet to see an active agent hang people up and torture them like the Rikers commonly do. Even Kelso, who's canonically a pretty loose cannon and brutal agent, doesn't torture people.
how are we the villain instead of traitor leading a band of ex-cons that hang bodies around
🙂 the only good guys are the hunters
I agree on this very much
How do you run into Hunters?
you run in to 1 hunter in a side mission the rest of the 25 hunters are trough puzzles
Huh, what's the side quest called?
not sure i think its just 3 question marks
hmmm, gonna have to google that. Thanks though!
it's a side quest in TD2 where you have to follow the signal of another agent, only to find him dead
then the hunter pops in a smoke cloud, interface glitches, and the fucker escapes
(it's sort of in the storyline)
hmmmm did I do it and just miss/not remember it?
Its called Agent Edwards Support, IIRC. Check the side missions sub-menu within the Progression Menu, it should show which side missions you completed or not
Thanks @glad spruce !!!
@indigo halo Wait, so that guy is a Hunter? I thought its a Cool Introduction of a faction that turns out to be Black tusk
that was one of the memorable fight in the game
that's how it was discovered that in the open world there are some places that are related to them and their trigger
when the UI goes all glitchy
that's a callback to hunters from Survival in The Division 1, who were the final bosses of that mode, before extraction.
man I miss Survival sometimes
that was real good fun
im holding out that the eclipse virus can be used to recreate a survival-type gamemode in div2
i know they said they weren't gonna do it, but i assume they are cooking something up
I really enjoyed the format of that game mode. The whole "you're stranded, you're dying, it's super cold, you don't see shit and you don't have your equipment. Exit's over there, good luck"
I remember making almond powder with my buttcheeks sometimes, because it was so frickin tense
theo parnell did nothing wrong
Oh, but he did a lot wrong
Siding with Keener, helping him in establishing the Rogue Network through piggybacking ISAC's database, getting innocent civilians killed
Honestly, I think he's the only Rogue Agent I wish we could apprehend and have him work for us. But I guess he was too obsessed over chasing with the truth
Keener kind of was right when you think about it
I mean. A lot of the Rogues have good reasons for what they did.
Except the rogue that made the Underground problem. And Dragov.
keener didn't really attack innocents either, just people he was "at war with", just some of his underlings went after civis
Yeah, but is that out of altruism or pragmatism?
Nothing implies he refrains from killing people because he thinks it's wrong. He just gains nothing from it.
If you had something he wanted or posed a threat, or he thought your death would gain something for him, he'd kill you in a heartbeat.
Dude killed plenty of Dragov's Rikers to prove a point that Dragov had to follow him.
only if you were a threat to him, if he thought you could be brought to his side, he'd rather go for that
like how he tried to recruit our TD1 Agents?
ya
Tbh I want a story of the TD1 agent we play. Even if it's something simple like "all 2nd Wave agents except Lau are dead" or "that agent that did a lot of work got hit by a drone and is dead"
1 point that i'm thinking, why does Keener confront the agents in TD2 face to face?
Dragov was completely hostile to keener (even till the end) so he had to use force on him
since in TD1, he actively avoid meeting our agents
and from the looks of it, he is not even on Black tusk's side
@echo acorn I think Keener wanted to die. by dying he becomes a martyr and his fight will live on long after he dies.
Dragov was a shitty agent and a shitty person and everyone benefits from his death.
Ah, Martyr for the Agents in ANNA Network?
In the end, Keener did 2 things.
A. Solidified his fight against the corrupt SHD officials and
B. Activated the Rogue network
Yep!
now i remember his convo with jupiter about their life before the outbreak
If only we can get a lore on what happen during the 7 month between D1 and D2
Other than the big events
at least we could have done our own theory crafting on what happen to the agents from D1
Do not quote me; but there has been a novel/book released and a comic book series. so it's possible the gap is covered between those two additional lore additions
I have yet to get either, but they are on my "to read" list
once you have opened the off-white chest in nyc haven and gained the hunter-killer chest piece can you then get it again as a drop? much like being able to get coyotes mask after getting it from the cache? have had a little look online but can't seem to find anything.....
every week or just a chance? as i got all blue rolls and was aiming more for all red =/
but the shield splitter can be obtained from a drop also right?
no
dayum
gonna be a long wait to get a decent one then i guess =/ shame they dont give a blueprint instead of a 1 off drop =/
So, I decided to look around for Senator Kensington that Theo was obsessed with chasing.
Turns out she was shown in an ECHO near the Capitol Building and has been dead for a long time

How the hell do you get through this door? https://i.imgur.com/4ltqvT5.jpg
That I have no idea, bud
This game is freaking buggy 😦
I just got the savage but won’t let me craft a 500+
How you do the valve thingy
You turn the valve

how i get into darpa labs? i finished pentagon but i can not see in pentagon area darpa mission
@unique zinc
Have you played DARPA once before? I had that same problem on my second character. I couldn’t find the mission on the map so I went to where it normally would be. I had to play the story mode version first before playing it on hard for the manhunt objective.
where is the story mode located?
it the missions
You have to run to it from the safe house
pentagon save house area?
Yeah
i feel so stupid .. i am in save house i dont see any thing to press to start mission darpa rofl.. i f inished pentagon mission already on challange
So I've been speculating (And this is a baseless speculation) about the missing audio logs for Keener/Conley/Dragov. And I've been thinking.... what if they haven't been found yet is because they're timegated and will release when Mercury and Jupiter are open for the hunt?
Like, think about it. There's like 12 audio logs involving the Manhunt for Jupiter. And we got 8 out of them now that both Neptune and Venus are dead. And given how its very likely we'll get the remaining 4 Jupiter audio logs with Saturn, it wouldn't be surprising to get the remaining Keener/Conley/Dragov audio logs from the Manhunt on Mercury and Jupiter.
Then again, its just baseless speculation. For all we know, the remaining Keener/Conley/Dragov audio logs haven't been found yet are because either no one else bothered to thoroughly explore the entire NYC map or they're bugged
can someone help me find the last two missing pieces for the exo holster lv 40
Tbh I want a story of the TD1 agent we play. Even if it's something simple like "all 2nd Wave agents except Lau are dead" or "that agent that did a lot of work got hit by a drone and is dead"
@round sinew I always assumed that our D2 agent was our D1 agent🤷♂️
But with the addition of WONY that can't be true as Lau, Rhodes and police guy (crap can't remember his name) don't recognize you
Which is a bummer
Benitez
Roy Benitez is the cops name
I guess they made this choice to justify the gear
Div 1 agents get pimped up by the end of it
@cold bramble thank you!!!
I just headcanon that my TD1 agent stayed in Midtown. As far as I'm concerned, she's keeping an eye on things in that region
Speaking of, I did a write a whole long story about my TD2 agent
I mean, it's possible the Div 1 agent is still alive. A lot of agents left NYC after the events of Div 1 to go other places. I just think it's a missed opportunity.
The whole manhunt thing with Mercury and Venus, etc is really underwhelming, because it comes off more as a grind than something enticing.
I wish they did something similar with Keener, where they take up abandoned Strongholds and you fight them as a boss, instead of just doing a bounty.
I hope at least Jupiter has a new modified mission
hopefully noy just a generic bounty
IIRC, Chris Gansler did confirm that the Prime Target have a special mission
has there been any updates on the new exotics for example the revolver or double barrel m4/shotgun
@unique zinc when you unlock pentagon you need to finish 2 missions after tht you unlock darpa mission finish it in story and then finish for specialization 😉
Is Jeremiah Ramos boss from Lincoln Memorial the guy we saw in Division 1 with the famous "Negative Ramos. We've got this."?
Different Ramos
Just beat down Vivian Conley. Woman literally explodes.
It's a shame, really. I've only done Dragov and Vivian so far, but it seems Keener only really got the two of them to work with him so he could exploit the Rikers and Cleaners as free manpower.
Dragov wasn't at all interested and Tbh was probably gonna be a liability to Keener at some point because he definitely would've rebelled.
And Conley seemed to get caught up too much in the Cleaners and likely would've decided Keener was better off dead.
Quick question, I have seen different versions of the Exotic Desert Eagle - (Liberty?), and I have seen two different versions, I understand that it may have been changed, but some of these articles are rather new (2020), which version exist in the game (base game) at present? - Please, and thank you.
one was headshot heals your armor, and the other deals extra damage to "summons"
The one that lets you stack 30 stacks and then headshot to repair shield is curent
got it, thank you! 🙂
Np, good luck
not the answer I was hoping for, but at least now I wont go chasing something I dont really want
Mind you, Liberty 2.0 is quite good for a Shield build
yes, but I cant hit for ship 🙂
BTW, very important, liberty still does extra damage to weak points and highlights them
oh, that was not apparent on those websites, thanks
To be fair, they don't tell you in game either
I assumed that part of the gun was removed, but apparently it still exists. At least, the gun still highlights weaknesses. It's my main weapon for tank builds too (ironic for a pistol)
with a good shield build, you should be able to close the distance and get an easy headshot
*tank build
and if you're taking damage to your armor with the shield up you probably have bigger problems than getting headshots at 2 meters
