That's the game now. Control Points (CP) can be retaken by enemies.

This is actually a good thing as you can farm them out for loot, and each CP captured above the level of Challenging gives you a random Blueprint that are all listed in your Crafting Table.

It is, and you get a reward for doing so, but it's impossible to keep them all green.

You can actually see when a CP is going to be retaken by a red gun icon travelling towards it in a GPS line on your map. If you kill that team, you've stopped it from being taken over.

Actually that's a mechanic. The lower their resources are the more patrols they have out and about.

It'll be any of the factions. You can do it by yourself, and just hope the friendly NPCS dont get overwhelmed by the attacking NPCs.

Activities respawn over time, resource caches restock, CP's can be retaken or lost on purpose, side-missions are 1time only, main missions can be farmed endlessly.

Imo the creepy Horror effect originates from the fall of civilisation not some b movie. Cleaners in the dz were an awesome sight in div 1. Ubi went wrong trying cater fir everyone in div 2 with this and that-lite. Where as div has its own thing going on without the need to borrow ideas. The dz in div 2 is still broken. That detracts from game imho. Even after the reboot, div2 effectively has multiple micro climates to cater for the diverse player aspirations. No bad thing except ubi is fixing bugs from its rushed endeavours.

@ionic abyss . Trying to help. Tbh getting help from others is a quick way to level up. The game is better in a group. The wony dlc has upped the thresholds a lot, but your game is relative to you. Maybe try a skill build with some armour regen. Explosive damage is insane atm. Rifles are good too. I would run some cps with you but im on ps4.

how does the summit work after the update? a couple friends and I were at floor 90 and trying to clear it for the first time but the update reset us, if I solo'd up to 80 or 90 myself and had them join for the remaining 10 - 20 floors would they be able to join and would it count for them?

yep, raising world difficulty automatically raises the alert levels on CPs

it also locks you into choosing that difficulty for a mission or above with the exception of being able to pick hard for missions with optional time trials

The Floor 100 end-bosses are Hunters, not Rogues. Same as Masks.

Any weapon that requires a Project to build needs to be completed in that Project before it can drop in Targeted Loot.

Melee builds are.....well there's a reason there's very few items which increase melee damage. It's just not a thing that really works at all, especially not in the harder content.

question: what's the best way to farm for Foundry Bulwark and Future Initiative chests and backpacks? I need to close out the blueprint projects.
is it just running IH bosses over and over? is it worth farming the first boss? do i need to wait a week or can i just do them again and again in a given week?
I'd rather not do complete clears if i can help it, and preferably get all the pieces this weekend so I can farm the regulus parts next week

after you beat it the first time, you get two exotic projects

one for FI and one for FB - you have to submit one of each piece from the two sets

if he's in control of the internet then he's in control of the router which is where you forward ports and enable a dmz

#

he can't enable a dmz on your local ip and his own local ip, plus enabling it on yours could be a security risk depending on how he does it

#

if he knows anything about IT he'd probably decline and if he doesn't he'd probably not know how to do it

afaik port forwarding only works on one local ip too

meaning even if you owned it, you could only enable it for your ps4, not your pc, phone, etc at the same time

he'd only be able to open it for your ps4 which restricts his own options, potentially other residents options, and could be a security risk if he did it for someone he didn't know very well

it should work as long as he has the last part of your local ip and optionally the port numbers to forward depending on whether you do port forwarding or dmz (which basically just forwards all ports)

bring the port numbers and ensure the ip you have is your device ip and ensure it doesn't change every time it's rebooted, though also know that sometimes power surges and replugging the ethernet cord in to the device can shuffle the local ip sadly

#

some routers don't support dmz so prepare the ports in advance just in case

#

other than that just try to avoid messing with your ethernet cord and check your NAT settings on it now and then to ensure it didn't update the local ip and require the port forward page to be updated

a dmz is the same thing, it just forwards all ports at once instead of requiring all of them

#

you may not need to worry about resets, it just depends on the device i suppose, sometimes when i have trouble with my modem/router and need to reset it, it'll shuffle my PC's local ip which i need to plug back in to the DMZ setting

probably depends moreso on the router than the actual device which means internet and power failures are the main thing to look out for

you probably need to download the entire game then even for the trial version since if you see players with end-game content or dlc items you still need to render them

#

so the main question is how epic game handles the content i guess, if the game has a different id and path then it might try to install it somewhere else

#

though you might be able to cheat

#

start the download, see where it sets the path to and if it's different, copy your existing game install to it and resume the download, it should scan for the existing files and just resume from there

#

ensure you verify your game install after the download though if you take that route

#

the only thing to do though is just try and see what happens, you only need to do extra work if epic games uses a separate id and path

the only thing i can think of on that then is if it was set to avoid installing specific stuff like mission content

if it didn't make you install the entire thing then at the very least you'd have to download the rest of it

#

if epic uses a different folder then again, you can pause the download, copy the existing files to it, then resume the download, just ensure you verify files afterward and if you encounter problems or just to be safe just do a clean install on a day you'll be away from your pc

#

sometimes the smallest mismatches can cause conflicts, sometimes they don't

#

the install verification the launcher platforms have should be able to deal with it though anyway

some blueprints are not from compelting Control Points, they're from a Raid or whatever. Just go to your Crafting Station, the exact location is listed there, 100%.

Not every item in Div2 is craftable either. If they're not listed at your Crafting Table, then it's from a Project or they're just not craftable.

if a set spawns and you missed them (ie walked by an actual area spawn), it still sets them on CD (i believe). Best place to farm the cards is FT to libertiy mission and head west into the park, a spawn is right in the middle of the park. Just check every 30mins or so

gearset no longer has a overall target loot anymore, so no unless there is an SC target loot option that shows up in the DC (we don't know if one exists), it will NOT be possible to directly target loot farm it

Fairly frequent but worthless in terms of proper rolls. Took me a long time to get them (or most DZ loot for that matter) decently rolled.

Best chance of good rolls is hijacking extractions when it's Providence or murakami targeted loot. But that's just my personal experience 😇

Yes because accuracy is still RNG (inside the bloom) and the Reload speed, BOTH get buffed by its talent. The stability part can be null OR helps a ton (based on player skill).

Weapon Handling gives 1% extra Reload Speed, Swap Speed, Accuracy, and Stability... so having 40% of it on-empty reload is pretty awesome.

I wanna say my rogue agents are bugged. Allow me to explain...

It’s been almost two weeks now without them - and yes I am aware it’s RNG and that this could go on for like a month or more - but i disagree.

Even tho I haven’t had rogue agents I’ve had the queue that “rogue agents are nearby” and the music plays BUT it only happens to me AFTER I teleport to a safe house. This has happened three times now.

Might that mean I teleported too early and could’ve had rogue agents right after the control point / mission I was doing? Idk but I do spend a minute or two after control points sorting my inventory so I doubt it.

What might be the cause? Im not sure but I think this has a part to play....

Last week, a buddy let me join him in his floor 97 summit so I can get the checkpoint. After I joined he left and encouraged I just farm 97-100 til I get rogue agents and then invite him so he can support. He left.

I remained in “his lobby” and chose not to leave (the pop up to return to personal progress appeared) because I was worried that it implied I “return to floor 1”.

I got rogue agents IMMEDIATELY. First thing on floor 97 - so I invited him over and he joined.

Because I was still in his lobby, once he joined it reset the floor and so essentially I lost these rogue agents.

Just wanted to mention that, because I feel like it has a part to play. Maybe I bugged some code behind their spawn or something I’m not sure.

And it’s starting to piss me off because chance of rogue agents has plummeted severely for me. I’d be getting them quite often. Now - NEVER. And I play on heroic with directives so I’m quite surprised they are not spawning as much as they used to.

Only thing that could increase the effectiveness of your armor kit was efficient and with firewall armor kit technically it increases the total heal from it but that's about it

From what I know the more skill haste you have the faster you get your skills back.

Cool down time will be decreased. Little tip. If the skills already do enough damage focus on getting them back quicker, like the seeker mines for example. If they don’t do enough damage focus on increasing their damage and duration, like the striker drone and turret.

@winged shale probably is fps build is squishy and leg npc hits very hard. Try it but i reckon youll switch back to skill very quickly. Tu12 is going to make skill build more fun anyway. Especially those new exotics

So I was doing the Dusk Bounty in the far East Building in Southwest and I think a Hunter spawned in there at the same time? game didn't say Rogue Agent I "killed" it but it like threw a smoke bomb and disappeared. what did I just fight?

Generally you wanna wait until its that gear's targeted.

On another note...

OH MY GOD. This community is so pisstake. I’ve done tidal basin invasion on heroic hundreds of times and EVERY TIME I do it i get matched with people who leave at the final boss fight after having died once.

It’s so infuriating. These people who are already weighing me down with bad builds are also not doing the rocket launcher in time nor killing enemies either. Then they leave me solo and I spend like 5 attempts on it

#

I admit today I realised my build for tidal is trash. I should be carrying a skill build with oxidiser but still how annoying and how easily these people give up and just leave me be on the final boss.

It has actual damage but when you check from inventory it is showing 0 for all weapon dmg
