you can farm the parts again i believe as LONG as you dont have the chest in your inventory or stash

who ever is trying to get the parts again. The game checks to see if you own the chest piece by checking both your inventory and stash. If it sees it, it wont drop teh parts. Move the chest to an alt characters inventory and the game can no longer see the main has the chest anymore. This applies for ANY of teh crafted exotics

you can, alos note you can just use the reconfigure in the bench to reroll the item with an exotic component

it doesn't hurt to have 2 on hand as you can use the leapfrog technique with rerolling by rerolling the worse one until its better then the good one and alternate to the other one then till its max rolled

Lately I've been seeing players that I've randomly grouped with foregoing weapon-dmg related pieces; for example someone will be running w/ an AR, but not have Fenris as part of their build. I'm curious to know why is that? Am I missing something? Has crit somehow become meta that if you stack enough of it, it will outweigh going w/ a weapon-dmg related piece?

its because WD from those brands is additive with WD from red cores

so its not quite giving 15% benefit

the more red cores you have the less the 15% and any other WD additions the less value they are worth

You cant have the weapon on you or your stash and only on 1st clear of the week for that invaded mission.

Make sure you did the correct mission for that part (or invaded zoo, drops a rng 1 you dont have)

Yes but no. You cant do the full manhunt, but you can take out the prime target for each of the previous manhunts. Jupiter's mission on roosevelt island at rank 53 of the free pass, and Hornet's mission in Tidal Basin at rank 48 on the free pass. They'll give you the skills, too, dont worry.

since its 81-100 when you clear that set, youll revert back to 1 again so techincally they are in a row

you can also repeat the last 3 floor set if you still didn't find the part. Just do x7-x9, get the key and open the box, if no part, then exit summit and return to x7 and clear x7-x9 again till you get the part

Unless an Exotic requires a Project to complete, the best way to farm any of them is through Targeted Loot.
If you have Warlords of New York, you can use the Summit, but either way just look for "Mask" when you open your map and press R.

people may have different opinions, but control points and bounties may be a good place to start, as getting gear is what you will need to do to progress and they will give a good idea where you stand with your gear. decide what build you like to play (skill or weapon) and farm those places for the gear you need,

Higher difficulties give you more exp and generally better loot.

Try to work to a place where you can comfortably do them at Challenging (CP3), there's a bit of a jump to Heroic (CP4) though.

No need to do the bounty @silk marten . Once you find the snitch she will be revealed for you. Be carful tho, she's on 24/36 hrs on/off cycle. She might be closed when you find the snitch - and you'll have to search for him again in the next day

While drop % for things such as Exotics are tied to activity difficulty, does the same logic apply to Open World farming such as Lady Death (World Boss farming)?

Additionally, does anyone have a chart off-hand that would explain the benefit of upgrading world difficulty in relation to item drops? Do they have a higher chance of dropping with larger stats similar to the DZ in the past? I've found perfect items in Normal Open World kills, but the question is more about the loot stats and rate at which loot drops being affected.

That's seperare. Control points have their own difficulty that can be boosted by activities and or world difficulty. Level 3= challenging, 4=heroic (max)

@potent tartan go to their respective strongholds, (roosevelt for jupiter, tidal basin for hornet) and go into mission settings, you then toggle the mission mode by holding 'Y' on your controller, it should say something like "roosevelt island manhunt" or Tidal Basin Manhunt"

Its called chickendancing. By cancelling sprint at the right tine, you conserve all your momentum but cause your agent's hitbox to be... weird, for a moment. Chain them together and you become nuch less hittable.

Seems to be you collect some stuff in activities like faction specific materials & some gear specific stuff (like when you deconstruct a pistol, it'll give you a pistol optimization material) and you go to the station, select what you want to optimize, and spend the resources to get it a litlle bit better.

There's 20 round clips for most ammo types, barring snipers and some rifles. Just gotta do some control points at level 3 or 4 for the blueprints for those.
