Hey guys. I just finished WONY campaign. I was wondering if i should activate the Global Directives or change the Global Difficulty. Are there any benefits to changing the Global difficulty?

Generally speaking, the harder it is, the better loot and more exp you get.

If you can consistently handle Hard, put it on that in the LZ and for missions, etc.

In all honesty, I have noticed that although the SHD 1000+ players might not do as much damage as I expected, they have become very very very well adapted to survive gunfights. Great survivability 👍🏻

Yep. No longer tied to the difficulty. Tied to the floor you are on. 1st part is on 1-20, 2nd part is 21-40, ect ect. You'll need all 5 peices when yiu extract to get the project. Happy hunting!

@south portal no necessarily, some people used exploits to lvl up super quickly (myself included). When the warhound convoy farm was a thing. I got around 600 shd levels in no time.

you start back at 1

when you finish floor 100, it resets back to 1, there is no Floor selection anymore as it really no longer needs it

you are able to set the difficulty of the summit as you want so the floor number is more arbitary to set

in terms of actual loot quality theres no difference between 1 and 99

Does anyone else feel like tidal basin invaded is significantly harder than most other missions?

I’m really getting wrecked in the final boss fight coz of the countdown rocket launch

Technically that's just regular Tidal Basin, not Invaded, but yeah it is quite tough if you haven't done it a few times.

I honestly like it best out of the Strongholds. Worst by far is Invaded Zoo.

Special thing. Some exotics let you do something to grant overcharge, like Acosta's go bag and BTSU gloves. Some talents, like Future Perfect, and Energize allow overcharge too.

Acosta's makes you able to throw grenades to grant overcharge, BTSU gloves allow you to mannually detonate your hive for overcharge if on tier 6, Future Perfect is on kill with that weapon, and energize is... on armor kit use?

most of them are "grants +1 skill tier, if on tier 6, grants overcharge" so you'll have to be on skill tier 6.

When you get to WT5, you get a side mission to go to pentagon which has you assault it from the outside that leads you to the "safe house", from there the prompts take you to the start of the pentagon mission

after the pentagon mission is done, it leads you right into the Darpa mission

Yeah Challenging Targeted Loot farm. I know it's tough right now, but you get used to Challenging pretty quickly.
The real jump is from that to Heroic.

else you could be farming for A LONG time due to having all the purples in teh loot pool

Honestly, farming in the open world can be much easier than in a mission or Summit. More open ground, room to maneuver . If you have to wait a few days to get Bader in a zone, then it's not the end of the world.

Ridgeways will still be there waiting.

TLDR: reason you want CHC/ CHD for EB is because your damage becomes way way way more consistant and reliable.

@brazen jay Jammer is a charge up ability, make sure you charge it up fully. also it could just be a shooting range bug FYI. (read the ability in game description)
