Hello Guys! Just wondering what the new raid is like in perspective to builds. In the first raid, I ran full DPS and also helped out with tank for turret room! ~ any heads up on what type of build i should focus on or popular?

DPS builds are still used in Iron Horse, but theres a couple more in there that you can use and still be helpful, like Future Initiative healer for the DPS boost, Foundry Bulwark tank staggerer to keep the boss focused on you while you stay alive, and a Hunters Fury to deal with some of the closer quarters engagements. Generally, if you are going in having read the encounter's "rules" but its still your first time, you should just bring your best full red dps build. Once you have learned what happens during the encounters and are confident that you'll be able to handle yourself, then you bring out the gear sets.
I went into IH with a boring rifle crit build, and did well enough. After 2 more runs through, i put together a FI build for the third boss to act as the main healer. On my 6th run i used Hunter's Fury in the second and fourth bosses to deal hella damage up close, as those were the roles i liked and knew well.

nope it only changes the difficulty of the world. It's not going to delete any items or progress don't worry. You might, however, lose some activities and Control Points on the map.
This is basically what you do when you want to go up to Heroic to get some level 4 Control Points to farm, or go down to Normal to gank some resource convoys

Kk. I know the feel. I would say best bet is to do control points/side missions on challenging difficulty.
It's a playstyle adjustment as well. Fighting Bots in the DZ is different than fighting them in SP. I feel like they are alot more aggressive and require more patience. Don't be afraid to sit and hide and run if it gets too wild. Once you get some good drops you'll be able to fight longer and harder

Gotcha. Yeah, I would do the story missions and pick up gear along the way until you get to maximum gear score cap. Otherwise, you can try to get lucky in the DZ and snag some gear from a downed player
When i first got to lvl 30 I got lucky and some high gear score players died while doing a landmark near me. Snagged their stuff and ran like hell lol

What level are you?
Press E on your map, and you'll see some bounties you can pick up and start doing. Then, on your map, press R. Figure out where Assault Rifle is the targeted loot, and do bounties and control points and resource convoys and essentially anything in that area. If no areas have AR as the targeted, just run the mission that has it a couple of times

Not exactly. F2000 can drop nearly anywhere, the Named version is only from the Ivory Cache. Gear sets can come from anywhere, but you'll have a higher chance in gearset targeted loot areas and missions.

For Directives, it only affects the change that a drop will be target loot or not. Say you get 10 drops normally with 2 of those being target loot with no directives. With directives you still see the same 10 drops but now say 5 of those drops will be target loot now (instead of 2 before)

ya whereever that yellow cord goes, there is always a way (unless it's a generated area which could not link up) ... most of the time if it looks like that it either has a box somewhere within sight but in the distance, or you get in there from dropping down
yellow is the marker for interactables generally, like tarps or doors, if it has a yellow padlock it can be shot, if it's a yellow door with windows it's generally accessible somehow ... always look for shootable drop down lines as well but generally if it's yellow it's the way to go
I had one where I needed to climb the building next to it and get an angle around the corner to shoot the panel box controlling the door, sometimes you need to go to the opposite side of the building and climb up across the roof.... some will drive you nuts because you looked for a drop down line but somehow missed it and spent 20 minutes running around like crazy until you took a second look and the line is right next to where you started looking

last point on that screenshot, that doesn't mean it's the entrance either, that could be an exit and the panel only accessible to allow an easy exit from where ever that started so you can carry on from that spot... this weed is conversational weed so I added more than needed I suppose

@thorny cradle every 20 floor set contains 1 of the 5 parts. Part comes from the chest at the end of each 3 floor set that requires the access key found in the same 3 level set.

the project will reset weekly
but the project only requires you to clear 100, starting floor doesn't matter
theoretically do 1-100 and 1-99 this week and next week on the reset, start floor 100, and get the project done basically instantly and then can do 1-99 again to set up the next week

difficulty changes teh loot quality
as difficulty rises, the min roll (and the avg roll) of the item rises. Normal for example can see a stat range from 1 to 100%. While Heroic can see a stat range from 40 to 100% as an example

Basically the armor regen attribution with the no regen direction means that the armor regen ONLY works while in combat
as for the summit levels. You have a personal summit level. If you join someone at a LOWER level then you, your personal level will not change until you reach your personal level. If you join someone HIGHER then you, then upon completion of the 3 floor set, your personal level will update to the current level. Just joining them does not update your personal level, the current 3 floor set must be completed

i mean summit is just basically a mission so it works just like the missions
its never going to be the best place for loot at the heroic level
open world and lincoln are still better if the target loot matches up
summit is crazy good for the legendary loot chance since legendary summit is easier then stronghold legendary
but for farming at the heroic level, summit isn't the "best" way to farm if a better spot exists elsewere
lincoln will always be the best since its quick and your guarenteed 4 target loots at the very least

it'll give you an item called "DZ resource" which is what you need to buy the stuff from the DZ Vendors
you can hold up to 25 in one contaminated item slot, so if you have 8 slots in your DZ bag you can get 200 from one extraction
but normally people wait until they have 50 to extract so the risk and time invested is less if they get ganked by rogues

@errant sorrel you can find the ridgeway peices on any difficulty. They are in chests on their previous floors (where they were before), with a much higher chance
so the normal peice is gonna be on 1-20 or w/e, ect ect.

basically Heroic summit is only good if what you want is NOT in the open world or in Lincoln. legendary summit is best if you can farm it easily since legendary summit is easier then legendary strongholds
