I can't understand why Div 2 struggles to launch if I have the Uplay overlay enabled. It either stay as a background process with 0% CPU usage or as a black screen with 0% CPU utilisation. Only rarely does it launch. Whereas, without Uplay overlay enabled the game launches without a hitch.

I'm playing Div 2 on an Xbox one S, all my region stuff is set up for australia/oceania but I'm currently being put in asia servers and it's telling me there's a poor connection constantly in the bottom left of my UI, does anyone know how to change it to AUS servers? Ive had two missions bug out since the update now.. on Liberty Island i killed Keener but an assault drone was still left alive. The mission finished and the drone went invisible and kept shooting me. Couldnt leave the mission while in combat so i let it kill me and was then stuck on liberty island, had to restart the whole game. Then i got to the end of the Stranded Tanker mission and the big fire pillar never activated so i couldnt disable it.. just had to restart the mission 😑

i think it has to do with changing world tier. because i joined a buddy who just unlocked the black tusk. so WT1 and it did the invaded cutscene and now it works fine.

My sort preference is never kept, and it used to work fine. Typical Massive, where fixes and changes get reverted back after another update. I don't think these guys know how to use source control.
And honestly, where is the emergency maintenance to fix Stranded Tanker? That's a manhunt blocker.
I heard that issue existed in the PTS as well, and if so, it boggles my mind that it got released with that in it. Is there any attention to quality control at Massive?

Where comparing this game to others I play regularly, it's night and day with how limited support is. We can't say what the situation is like behind the scenes, there may just be a few guys left working on it. It's just a case of managing expectations

I tried to be patience with all these game breaking bugs this game had earlier....but this one is so frustrating to have this endless briefing loop, nothing helps that have been suggested at forums etc.... (ESC, F, wt change, DZ west entrance...)

Most bugs like this kind are avoidable, the only reason I think this gets a lot of heat is because there is nothing you can do, you just are stuck in NYC. Im not blaming anyone tho because it was not in the PTS so no one would of known, but I just really want to play D2 is all.

Gotcha yeah. For me I can see and play the game but any time I try to alt tab out it will flicker on the second monitor then just completely go black.

^ happened to me yesterday and i had to quit the game. restarted the game and i got lucky to go back to the summit with the same group. would be different story had they kicked me before i rejoin..
note that for me once i restarted the game it jumped straight to the summit again. However, i don't trust this is reliable enough to happen every time..

I'm not sure if there is a work around on that but it seems a "feature" that is in Windows higher than Win7. Best advice is update your Win7 to Win10.

I can not open the quartermaster of the Season, as the video starts playing, the skip button does not cancel it, but is reset only with the escape button. But if I open the roundup tab on the map, then I will get into an endless loop of the video, which can only be interrupted by killing the game through the task dispatcher. Maybe someone knows how to solve this problem? Or it is massive and you need to wait for the patch.

@brittle scaffold actually it’s the Firefly skill that might be bugged. If I inflict Blind with Eyeless talent, Galvanize procs, but not with Firefly. Basically Firefly is not triggering Galvanize

Hi folks, I purchased the full game from Epic store but after the download is completed and I attempted to run the game, Uplay says I need to "update" the game of which requires to download over 50GB, that's pretty much the whole game. What's up with that?
I verified the files from Uplay launcher, all seems to be in order. The installation directory is also correct (points to Epic's default game directory).

I've had a problem with the agent edwards anomalous mission, where it tells me to go to a set of two double-wide doors and then the next marker seems to be behind them, however neither of the doors have a prompt to open them. (I'm SHD level 6, so WONY completed if that helps although I've had this bug as long as I can remember)

@glacial briar You may need a repair (or fresh) install of Windows at some point, but you can try to verify some of the critical OS files in Win 10 using "dism" and " sfc". First, make sure there are no hardware issues especially with memory or hard drives/SSDs and undo any overclocks. In an admin command prompt or admin windows powershell:
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealthand then:
sfc /scannow
If there are any errors reported, restart and run those again. Then start the Ubisoft client and verify the game cache files. Once they verify try again.

@gilded elbow not sure if you are still having the issue but a couple things you can check: there's a setting in Settings > Video > Enable Reduced Latency, that could help; also may be a silly question but are you playing on a wireless keyboard? if so, try checking the battery of it or there could potentially be some other device interfering with it on the same frequency

any streamers/recorders here familiar with OBS and this game? for some reason i'm getting a locked 40fps in game when i have OBS running. not like, fluctuating 38,42,39, but locked at 40; without OBS my game runs at around 110-120fps; even with both running my CPU+GPU don't even pass 35% usage. i've tried so many things with no luck: 1. googling the issue 2. different combinations of video settings like enabling/disabling dx12, fullscreen,windowed, vsync on/off, frame lmit on/off, etc. 3. different OBS (regular obs, obs studio, streamlabs obs), 4. different OBS settings like software encoder, nvenc, nvenc (new), different bitrate on capture, disabling preview, etc. 4. turned Windows "Game Mode" off; no luck so far but i feel like it's a setting somewhere, because it's stuck at 40 but i still have low cpu + gpu usage
forgot to mention, i also tried in OBS window capture, monitor capture, and game capture with same result, and also tried changing the affinity of each program in task manager to use different cores, although as mentioned neither cpu or gpu went above 35%

That could be also caused by CPU overload, try disabling other software running in the background (Razer Cortex helps with that), but I'm almost certain it's graphics card - related

Hello everyone, I need a PC help. When I try to launch the game, the splashscreen of EAC starts and loads, after that appears a Windows Message "There's been an error. The computer will restart in 1 minute". I noticed that after this message, the games load but the PC has gone in restart
I've already tried:
sfc /scannow on CMD
Reinstall the whole game
Disabled Antivirus
Execute the EXE files as Admin
Delete the tobii.dll file in the folder
Sometimes happens that, in task manager, after the EAC splashscreen appears the Windows Error Report application and, if I kill this process, appears the message "There's been an error. The computer will restart in 1 minute" and, after the message the game starts but the PC reboots

You'll need to validate files now (I know you reinstalled the game, but it's not the same thing)
Also, try moving the game to another drive, or at least a new folder on your drive (e.g. to C://Games/*, best install it on the drive separate from your OS (not where your Windows is))
That issue, in my eyes, would usually be caused by the executable or base DLL corruption, which is fixable by validating your gamefiles
To add, ensure your Windows is up-to-date with all the latest updates, check GPU drivers too

Anyone having problems with apparel event keys again? Every 4 levels I see the level up with the key but when I go to unlock I only see the one key that I assume you are gifted by default. Is it because I don’t have warlords if New York? (Getting before season ends, hopefully sale soon since I missed the last one)

windows+r -> %appdata% -> back 1 file layer -> local -> delete uplay game launcher

Sometimes after certain updates the launch time is a bit longer. Be especially patient after those just in case.

Heya, so I've been having an issue downloading the game. I'm on xbox one btw.
So I used to have the game downloaded, but I recently got an external hard drive, so I decided to move the game over to that. But for some reason, it refuses to install there. I'll start the installation, and it will instantly sya "installation stopped". No matter how many times, I couldn't get it to install there. Other games would, so it's not an issue with the drive, and there is plenty of space, it just won't install. I'm trying to install it on the internal hard drive rn, and it seems to be working, so I'll let y'all know if it stops again.

@sturdy perch It’s not a problem, its just after a certain time the apparel cache event goes into closing mode(event ending in a day or two +/- , and you cant earn the keys anymore. You can spend in game currency to get them though. Not something id recommend unless it’s something you really want since its just cosmetics....

I should have clarified, I didn't mean the event keys but rather the regular blue keys that can't be purchased(at least in my game) that drop every few levels or so I know Ubisoft did a supposed server maintenance this month about this but thats actually when it started happening to me

Are drops tied to time played per week? reason i'm asking is that i observe strange behaviour for over a year now. I've had a very active clan of 25+ active players did over 100 DH raids and EB never dropped for me and people who don't play a lot get it on the first try, many of times, and more on fresh weekly plays, only playing raid
the same goes for other friends who play a lot 12-16 hours a day, never dropped EB since day 1

I've farmed hundreds of hours for 3/3 godroll chestpiece and it never dropped. Took a break then came back and it dropped the first hour. Coincidence? There is no such thing imho, the chance to win the lottery jackpot becomes much higher at this point, at least in my perception

I have a question about saving my content on my SSD and NVME.2. I have an SSD (500 GB) that has windows and random stuff on it. Then I have 1 NVME with just games. Would it be worth to backup my games or are all the games (all purchased from online) and information regarding the games easy to retrieve in the event of a NVME failure. I also have another NVME which is 2 TB (just installed). I am trying to figure out if I should just back up random documents on main drive or back up my games as well. (Still have 2.5 TB free for games, but just trying to see if its worth backing those up or if I can just redownload those)

You can get this info from a monitoring program like HWINFO64; It'll show you the S.M.A.R.T info for your drives.
Storage configurations in a PC are subjective based on your personal taste and needs; so what I suggest might not be best for you or your needs.
You also didn't mention the size of your first NVME.
I'd personally have the smaller of the two NVME drives as your main OS drive.
I'd personally use the 2Tb NVME for games.
I'd personally use the 500Gb SSD for everything else, including a backup of your personal USER folder/Things you deem important.
But if say the 500Gb SSD is the oldest drive, and therefore usually the first to fail, that could change how you set it up.
If you want true redundancy(Backups) in your storage configuration, you'll need to look into and research RAID configurations.

so i just want to say i just came across with this; recalibrating armor piece deletes your gear mod. iam very aware that deleting item does that, but didnt expect recalib doing the same. now i have to start to farm again 12% chd mod. and that takes maybe 3 weeks 8 hours a day. iam honestly thinking about changing to play another game.

@storm torrent Its because the station completely rerolls the item as if it was just dropped. And in that case, it doesn’t drop with mods (that’s how they coded it).
@solid swift The only thing I know is those projects tend to not like crafted items. So find the items as drops.

Hi @here, my friend has had constant issues with getting this game to work. It did work way back when we first played it but even that took a whole day to get it working. At the moment his character or mine is stuttering and freezing in place every 10 seconds or so. We've tried EmptyStandbyList, high priority, disable overlay and Geforce. His Pc is not heating up in anyway so its not a performance thing. The latest addition to the problem is that whatever program we use to speak to each other (Discord, Facebook) his voice cuts out completely after tabbing back into the game.
I started playing again and was really excited to introduce him to Summit but this causes so much frustration. Does anyone have ANY idea at all? Please either DM or tag me if you have some suggestions. Thank you

He is using NVida. Turns out he does need an update for a graphics driver from the 29th. He's installing it via Geforce now. I dont have high hopes for it as these updates to drivers surely are game specific for just new games.

They can cause system wide problems. Apart from that maybe try repairing+verifying the game files.
Outside of that...it's looking like it might be related to his System and not the game. Can't be sure though.

I appreciate what help you've given. It seems alot of others on forums are experiencing the same issue so Im just trying to find the common denominator so to speak. I'll message again once he's done a driver install and reboot. If it doesnt work after that we'll just play something else 😦

whenever i stream the game with OBS, and tab out while streaming
my audio drivers crash
restarting audiodg.exe with taskkill.exe /F /IM audiodg.exe seems to fix it, but i have to tell obs to restart the audio stream from my mic
any ideas?
same thing happens if i stream through discord, so it isnt an obs issue.

I came across a rogue player with a bulwark shield, I activated my jammer and their shield still stayed up, the player had no disrupt immunity and was on fire spec, thus no hive assisted immunity, is this a bug?

When discord overlay is activated, and I launch the game, it freezes, if the overlay is disabled before I launch the game, the activated once the game is launched, it works without freezing. Anyone has an idea?

I'm on Xbox Series X. Second time I have no sound with this game now. Nothing through TV speakers or headphones. Same with two monitors I've tried. It's just recently started happening this week. Nothing on web for console solutions, it's all PC. Anyone know this probelm? Can't realy play the game because of it.

@tiny crag i don't know the solution, but can confirm that this is happening to me and a lot of my friends. One day connection is good, other day it is poor (blue or orange icon in the game), and latency is increasing to 70+ ms.
