i keep getting really long lag spikes where my game freezes for 30secs-1min and I either die because enemies kill me in the mean time or I get a delta-3 error code

@shut niche technically you "Pre-Ordered" the expansion. You'll be able to boost any character to Lv. 30 when the expansion comes live.

but I think the problem is that it was meant to be just one boost, while it was possible to get more and cap materiaals and such on your main
so they might have reverted to just one

@shut niche anyway, if you bought the expansion, create a New Character which you want to boost, play the tutorial (if necessary) go into the "Appearal" section -> on the left side to "Addons". There should be a button with the option "Boost".
If your on the PC it should be "Spacebar" to boost your character.
and please tell me if you can or cant do it. I dont want to spread wrong information about that. Just DM me~~

@tight copper ya, srry. The error generally is a connection issue. Try this, I have seen it work. Windows search 'cmd' to open Command Prompt, then, type 'netsh winsock reset', then restart your computer

Been struggling to get game to launch over the last few days. No trouble at all previously. Made no changes to my computer/settings. Whenever I start the game, I get the EasyAntiCheat window, then it just disappears after and I get a message saying TD2 crashed and asking if I want to submit a crash report.

Whenever I enter the DZ chamber my game will immediately put me into a loading screen then after waiting for a minute I will spawn back and then ending up in a loading screen again till I’m placed back into the main menu where I enter the game. I keep getting placed back into the main menu of the game and it will always keep doing that only just 3 times but it will end up making me wait 5 - 15 minutes just to get inside the DZ.

@frosty spade is that a laptop or a desktop? usually laptops have this dual graphics card system and sometimes that doesn't kick in correctly so ur game might end up using the imbeded graphics card rather than the dedicated one
but div 2 is known to use a lot of CPU anyways when u aren't using some of the latest model. plus that 8gb ram is also going to be a big bottleneck. folks have reported better performance with at least 16 gb

@fast fern it could be a UAC/elevation rights problem, right-click the uplay/epic/(whatever exe is firing the game for you) and run as administrator, I know Windows Firewall gets very upity about things adding or changing rules

@lofty heart div 2 is indeed a really power intensive game, if it doesn't work on your current hardware, there isn't an option other than getting better hardware.

In Stash or inventory, once you've seen the detail of one Mask you can't see the detail of any others. Only seems to do that with masks. Only way to see attributes of other masks it to come out of stash and go back in.

A lot of bugs in games can actually be caused when it's released server wide. Enclosed testing only goes so far.

Bugs aren't so easily fixed if they are server side. An enclosed environment build of the game is different from the server build.

Method that has worked for me and 3 others in my clan for the safehouse leaders is: random matchmake, fast travel to safehouse while still in random group, try and interact. If it doesn't work leave the group and try again, if it still doesn't work repeat from step 1 until successful.

lmfao so the problem with not being able to finish downloading the game was to do with my DNS server, some old forum (2yrs) found that Optus (AU ISP Provider) blocks uplay downloads for some reason.
i guess after a restart my DNS changed to it and i wasnt able to download the update. changing it to 1.1.1.1 fixed the problem instantly

How strange. I keep expecting Ubi devs to further improve performance but it gets worse with every patch and now, with this expansion. Is it just beyond you guys to keep CPU usage below 70% or is it an issue with the engine itself? It can't be, cuz it spikes from 30% to 78% consistently.
You guys need to care about this, otherwise you will lose fans. My friends are sick of this garbage (they have superior hardware than mine: i9 9900k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1080ti/1060, granted I have a normal 1080), I'm fed up with this garbage. Something needs to change

I truly hope so. I may have been a harsh critique in the past (I'm talking about AC Odyssey yo), but under my relatively mean criticisms is the optimism that truly wants Ubi devs to succeed. I love Ubisoft, all of their studios, ever since I was a kid playing the first AC game, even Morrowind which they published alongside Bethesda

@nocturne finch That's a strange issue. Try deleting the TD2 configuration file (try googling it, I can't remember where it is rn). That should reset all your graphics and video configs
