anyone having trouble launching the game on the pc? i was just playing it an hour ago. went to launch it again, and the game launches (with the frame window, and a black screen), but just closes with no errors or anything before it gets to the seizure warning screen.

@brittle grotto I'd always try restarting your PC before a repair.. This game has had some long load time issues known but it generally seems to stem from Uplay trying to close an existing entity of the game

Hi, so seems I've had an issue with the four hunters. Killed two of them and died. I saw on screen the remaining two disappear before I respawned. Now I can't pull the lever to spawn the hunters, there is no action on the lever. I've looked at other threads and they recommend joining someone else's session and doing it that way, but I've also read that it's not possible to do it that way now. Any pointers greatfully received.

Anybody here running Negotiators Dilemma and encountering issues with Press Home the Advantage (requires 6/6, Explosions caused by the player stacks a bombardier buff. Each stack grants party/raid members +10% explosive damage and the player with +10% armour for ten seconds)? For the life of me I cannot get it to Proc. Anyone else having problems with AMD's drivers stoping working with the game since the last game patch? Everytime i launch the game now it just freezes when i get to char selection screen, and either the game just stays there and wont even crash or i get the amd drivers stopped working and reset message and i have to use the task manager to shut the game of, tried going back to a driver version i know worked and ive formated my puter and reinstalled everything fresh and it still happens, but only with D2 so i really dont think its my drivers acting upp but the game itself and then with the last game patch

When I use my #3 Side-Arm shotgun it doesn't fire at all, then all a sudden pops off both shots instantly "Aim down sight, *physically clicks 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 times nothing... seconds later POP POP. I haven't had issue with Q/E skills though.

Advendra, I still been tweaking my settings trying figure this out. Worked best for awhile once I auto selected "Ultra settings" Literally nothing else in the game settings, Ultra or Low effects anything for me. even in my AMD settings, The fps limiter at, 60-75-100-120-144 or 244 cap doesn't help. Researching any problem yields same results "It's your fault, shut off all overlays and device manager>update video drivers" is their solution for literally every problem... lol

hello, i need help. i have 16gb ram, windows detects division 2 using a shitload of vram and then eventually crashing. this keeps happening all day and its totally game breaking. like less than 15 minutes of gameplay and its already sucking up 12 gb ram.. so i spy with my little eye a nasty memory leak.. is there something i can do to make this somewhat playable ?

Any idea what could cause control point level and activity +1/2 indicators to not show up? @scenic tiger I guess the thing is without the level indicators it is almost impossible to know if the CPs actually leveled up. So far no matter how many activities I complete the rewards don't change so it's possible all CPs are stuck at level 1. At the verge of starting a new character just to see if it is my entire game or just the character that is broken.

Hello everyone. I've had an ongoing issue since the release of TU6 concerning being able to fire my weapons. From the moment I load in with my agent left-clicking does nothing for me, however everything else works without issue. I can move, take cover, climb over obstacles, melee, navigate the menu, aim down the sights, throw grenades, use skills, and reload.

So far I have tried changing my binding, tried a new mouse, tried deleting all of my settings files, wandered around for 2-3 hours waiting for it to start working, reinstalled the game, tried a new agent, reinstalled my graphics drivers using DDU in safemode, disabled all overlays (Afterburner/RTSS), and am at the point I am debating reinstalling Windows. Is there any suggestions for what else I could try before that? I've been told numerous times it's lag and that it's happening to everyone, but my girlfriend has no such issue and I have no issues besides this game only. I don't think every other single thing would work if it was lag either.

I would say its definetly not related to windows so dont reinstall it. Install the mouse drivers new maybe helping? A friend had issues with not grenading and the key mapping was wrong

Hey guys, been unable to play the game for a few weeks now. Tried downloading a patch when it was released, however it would get to 99% and stop. I have proceeded to uninstall game, and now that wont install. I tried installing on a different drive, deleting uplay altogether but the download will just stay at 0bps. This doesn't occur with any other game including other uplay games. Any help is really appreciated!

Btw... how about you do a "Rosevelt island" Heroic with the Outcasts??? I remember it was the hardest run (Challenge) after gamestart... harder then Tidal Basin (Only Wyvern kills you with her Grenades). So a bit more Enemies etc. 😉

Is anyone else having missive stability Issues? I'm having extreme difficulty getting the game to run for longer than roughly 2 minutes before freezing/crashing to desktop.

I've gone through about 5 different versions of graphics drivers, Verified, reinstalled the game.

I have yet to play around with the graphics settings but i can't get more that a solid 120 seconds of the game running before it freezes and then i have to restart my PC becasue I cant close the app if it doesn't immediately close to desktop.

One thing that i do notice is what looks like different colored particle effects flaying around when facing a specific direction when outside of a building -persistent after verification and reinstall-, so far this is my primary indication that the game is in a broken state before crashing.

Anyone having stuttering issues? I'm noticing my 1080 TI is dropping to 0% utililization (which makes everything in the game freeze) and then jump back up to 100% like nothing happened. If it freezes for long enough the game crashes. This is without an overclock but I have voltage set to 100% (1.93V if the system needs it)

@queen junco at the state of the game they did report this bug existed on Tuesday, but got fixed on Wednesday's patch. they did acknowledge that you'd have to complete them all over again, for unlocking the chapel.
i can vouch that I ran it yesterday with my clan and it unlocked just fine, we all got our guaranteed Diamonbacks

I have insanely bad stuttering when I play, like my game just keeps momentarily freezing randomly every few seconds - I played a couple months ago before taking a break and it was working perfectly fine, does anyone know what could be causing this? I have an 8GB RX 580 and a Ryzen 5-2600.

@lofty heart I had a similar issue with my motherboard lightning software too, when the game originally came out. The only temporary workaround was to shutdown those windows services when playing. Permanent fix was when I checked their website n downloaded a new patch for the software.

Check their website for a new patch, or submit a bug report to the company to make a fix, that's ur best option. Or just shut it down when playing

I've been getting massive stuttering during firefights in the game. My GPU usage will drop to 0% then back up to 100% constantly. If it drops to 0% for too long, the game will crash. Anyone else having this issue? I have a 1080 TI (not overclocked, but voltage set to 100% or 1.93V) and a 7700k (overclocked to 4.8Ghz). I'm not having this issue with any other game.

So perhaps someone here can help. I played in all betas, even a tiny bit when the game first came out. No issues at all. RL hit and I had to focus elsewhere so I stopped playing. Anyways I am back now, or at least I would like to be but when I launch the game I get these random FPS drops every few seconds. I have no clue why, I even lowered my settings to the lowest options, and still happens. Never happened before. Makes the game quite difficult to play.

@surreal idol I had this issue today too out of nowhere. I ran an integrity check on the game files and re-booted after it finished. Gave everything a minuet to load up and tried again. Seems fine now.

@stray path - It turns out the CPU is my bottleneck. It's not up to spec and that's what's causing the extended loading / stuttering. I reduced the size of the game's window, and it's running fine for the most part now.

games will usually run worse in windowed mode on any computer, that's because everything in the background has to be rendered too while in exclusive fullscreen, only the game is rendered

@stray path I found something that actually WORKS! I went into my startup and disabled a few things that weren't necessary. Went into task manager and killed everything that wasn't necessary. And the MOST important thing I did was change Windows 10's virtual memory (page file) to something more appropriate. (It was on "let windows manage...") After that, I simply changed back to full screen and there is no stuttering!

Nah ram speed wouldnt affect that much. however the cpu speed might. but in this case i think its the ram size like u mentioned earlier. but he can try with low graphic setting & fps cp first

i can confirm whatever Ezio said is true about the config files in Documents. They are just config file that the game auto generates with defaults. Things like custom Key mappings, Graphics settings, etc. Make a backup of that folder if you are concerned, you can just restore it back and it will get used by the game.

He is running under the recommended requirements for the game, Ubisoft recommends that he be running AMD Ryzen 5 1500X, Intel Core i7-4790. Its his RAM and his CPU that need upgrading.

Hello together . I did notice something strange . My Cpu is going crazy over 100% while there audios . Only troubleshooting when there is a lot action around me . Meanwhile my cpu does not go over 30% if i do turn of the Audio

If you miss or shoot a target more than 1x then you'll have to wait 24h or log out before you can try again. Also if you already did the hunters then you can't spawn them again in your own session :( But this hunter def spawns, just did him again some days ago in a shepherding session.

ok so i was in a conflict match.. there was this weird thing/glitch... nobody was able to see me.. my shots were not hitting anybody and i was not taking damage.. enemies would run straight past me they are not seeing me... i thot its lag but i was able to punch people in their faces.. so ran behind them punching.. got 2 kills just by punching them to death.. i didnt die too... i was even able to revive my teammates twice

So my Q key in the game is not deploying my skill. I hear the little beep when I press it, nothing happens, I reassigned the skill, nothing happens. I quit the game for 8+ hours to sleep and came back, and with fresh boot up, same issue.

I have a similar lil bug, my skills won't deploy after switching loadouts, if the current loadout has the same skill as the loadout before. Means if the other loadout had cluster seekers then the seekers in my current loadout won't deploy. Workaround is to switch to a loadout with different skills first and then back to the loadout you currently want to use. Or switch the skill in question and then change it back. @tawny plover

@sleek plank for any npc that is stuck behind a wall or under the map use a for grenade. It goes through walks or floors. The only exception is black tusk warhounds since they are immune to fire. Am emp grenade may work but I'm not sure (never tried).

Yes, I know dx12 is a hit or miss. I guess I'm part of a small minority for whom dx12 has worked amazing, and with no crashes since the recent few upgrades. But ya, doesn't hurt to try, maybe u r part of that minority :)

did anyone else encounter this issue, i bought the ultimate edition yesterday because it was cheap af but the game wont download past 2gb it just refuses to. what will happen is it will download fast and fine up until 2gb then the download speed tanks to 0b/s and will not raise again, i've put in a support ticket but ubisoft hasn't responded so im here looking for possible fixes. any help is greatly appreciated

I'd definitely start by verifying the game files and then rebooting. I've had it help me at least once. It's simple but usually a good place to start. Then I'd start monitoring resource usage while idle. You could have a background process that is eating up more resources then you realize. CPU usage should be no higher then 1% to 5% idle.

well, to be honest this will be hard to figure out. somethings i'd suggest is

restart the pc
unplug replug mouse
use a different mouse to see if it happens with that mouse too
maybe try changing your gameplay mode, like (windowed / fullscreen windowed / fullscreen)
try DX12 instead of DX11 with the above variations

I don't play Div2 on PC, but I know similar behaviour from programs and games when I had the double-click speed set too low, then fast clicking was interpreted as double-click and therefore didn't trigger the normal click behaviour. Something similar possible with Div2, in this case?

When i stream a raid, i keep getting deltad and have very bad connection. When i stream by myself, i have a green signal and am able to do everything just fine. I have no dropped frames on stream but keep getting deltad from the game when in a raid group.

I tried flushing my dns and verifying my game files but somehow i keep getting deltad in raids. This started happening after saturday night.

I logged off yesterday in a Dark Zone saferoom and upon logging back in, I cannot leave - none of the exits work.

Because I'm in the DZ, I can't matchmake, or fast travel to leave the DZ.

I thought there was something wrong with my pc so I have try 6 other games with same requirement 8 GB ram, and it works perfectly fine. I have reinstall division 2 & uplay launcher, I am still lagging. I have same settings since launch. I have never had lag before until 3 days ago. What's the issues? Does anyone know why? They'll likely enable the PTS when they have "things they want tested out." They don't, at the moment. My guess is something should be coming up after the episode 3 update, when they implement the new proposed rework of the attribute budget system.

If you did the missions very recently then the chapel should open but if they were done about 2 or so months ago, then you have to redo them all for it to open

@opaque gale it is a bug that ubisoft has tried to fix but has failed many times trying to fix. Thus bug originated back in October and they released a patch saying to do all of the missions again. The bug must have come back as many other people have reported the bug. I did the college back in September and I still haven't been able to open the chapel. I guess just wait until they actually try and fix the bug.

⚠️ DARPA LAB BUG! WORKAROUND! Just in case not said yet... There is a bug on the Darpa Lab, the lab with the hole in the middle, where 1 NPC can be stuck in a spawning room, blocking the mission. WORKAROUND: all the players should stay on the right side of the lab, forcing the NPCs to spawn on the left side. That should prevent the bug. ⚠️

Agents, Admin and whoever is working with in game sound VOIP, my mic is not working in game, voip is activated the settings shows up my mic but i cant talk to anyone, i can hear everyone but no one can hear me. My mic works in discord and everything accept in the division 2 proximity/raid whatever u want to call it. can any of u help me out please? i tried every possible solution out there nothing... settings in game shows up the logitech mic but it dosnt work in game, and yes VOIP is active and i tried with both push to talk ON and OFF nothing... one suggestion for you to try out would be that type "sound mixer" in your win 10 search bar. make sure you are running the game.
here you should see individual applications and their Output and Input device.
generally they maybe configured to use default. but try the drop down and see if you can override it for your game to explicitly use whatever mic you are using

besides uninstalling the game from uplay, you probably want to delete the local game settings in Documents > My Games > div 2 folder

well nothing will happen when you press the button, but generally the other side should hear u.
if you like I'd be willing to join u in game and test it out. i personally never use the ingame voice at all, but i know it works with my mic.

same i don't usually use the ingame voice but i had situations where i got inv to a raid or heroic group from friends and they were talking through proximity/ingame voice and i could hear 'em and they could not hear me... and it somehow sucked and made feel disconnected from all other 7 players in the raid especially

ya its a fluke, it sometimes work sometimes doesn't. mainly i never see if I am broadcasting my voice or not. which is why i just keep it off.
occasionally when others speak and i'm in a menu or something, their name shows up on top right. but i never noticed any ui feedback when i speak. which is the scary part

Alright, I've been dealing with this past 2 weeks and I thought it was heat problem. From time to time, when I'm playing TD2, my PC restarts (and rarely shuts off). I've cleaned it, but the problem remains. Anyone seen this? Other games work normally, for long periods of time. TD2 sometimes run for hours, sometimes for minutes.

I would do the normal stress tests and see what creatures pop up. Run hwmonitor and intelburnin test and see what temps your cpu hit and if its stable. My pc was stable in everything but crashed in td2. Ran the normal tests and found out one of my memory modules went bad.

For the PC restarts, go into the Windows log and filter for eventID 1074, 6006 & 6008. You might be able to get more info to what the cause is. For a full screen game that's usually going to be for a driver crash, instability due to heat or overclock.

Either u found like an old build of that hid.exe that had compatibility issue, it's the newest version which has the compatibility issue. So you'll need to either downgrade or upgrade.

I've been quite stats in my vendor reset videos for the last few weeks and there's always 1 comment saying stats are higher. @tawdry wolf ya, that kinda happens occasionally. usually what i do in that case is switch over to a loadout that is using a totally different specialization and NOT using seekers as a skill. and then i switch back

it generally happens to me when i am running my tips, survivalist mender seeker loadout and switch to a demo/tech with cluster seeker loadout. i can't toss the seekers then. so i switch to my aces loadout running hive and drone, and then switch back to my cluster seeker loadout. that works

i actually have not encountered that bug myself, so i'm not sure what to advice you. maybe try completing it on a normal mode or something? and then later if you are looking for a challenge, toggle the invasion again and see if its still bugged on whatever difficulty you were playing on?

There are 4 pieces... Tally, Bridle, Scales and the Scourge.. the Sourge you get when you have the other 3 pieces and then do Capitol Hill on Hard or Higher

Here is a link to a pic for me to craft it, I'm missing the last piece. 6 weeks and I've done Capitol Hill at least 20 times on either Hard or Challenging and that last piece won't drop

I've done it once on another profile and it was like clock work, I've helped other people get just to have that last piece not drop for me... but for others... frustrating as hell.. I get full on drops or exotics.. (I've been trying to get the merciless for about 3 months now) but this is just a bloody piece

on the 1st profile the BP dropped with the 3rd piece. the same happened on my 2nd profile

and like noted, I don't control drops, so there's no way I "bugged myself"

then I shouldn't of been able to get the other 3 bits. and gaming with others they were able too. as of today it's not in the profile I was farming on. but for the last 6 weeks it wasn't

@topaz badge I have similar (r7-1700x/16BG Ram @3200mhz/1080Ti/NVMe SSD and 1440p 165hz Monitor. I average 80fps but on DX12 full screen, I get severe FPS drops but not down to 1-2fps. I run game in full screen on my main monitor. if windowed I get crippled to 10-30fps. So I full screen the game on my main monitor, my secondary 1440p 60hz monitor has the same as you (Discord/MSI Afterburner/FF) and if I need to go there I just hit the windows button to get there

you can always just windows key over to the side screen. then you'll see the FPS drop while the focus is off the game screen and then when you go back, move the mouse to the game screen and left-click and then the focus will be back on the game

@quiet marsh maybe i missed something, but just trying to help... did you check Inaya to see if she has the perk for sale to share blueprints and materials? Also, others have mentioned that they had to take the nemesis out of the storage for other chars and put them all on the chars to get it to drop. Just some simple things that I didn't see mentioned. Don't know if it will help, but best of luck!

I wish they would fix the issues w/ the NPC's getting stuck underground or inside of doors and you can see/hear them but you can't shoot them. This happens a lot at landmarks in the DZ. I've also seen it happen in DCD when a character fell through the stairs and ended up under the raised platform in the small glass area where the explosive pipes are before you go up the elevators.

@quiet marsh as @gusty trench said, if you have the Nemesis in your shared stash, even tho your HC char can't access it, you won't get any of the parts of the Nemesis

@loud surge @gusty trench making sure the exotic was in my char and not in my stash worked. I was able to go back to capitol hill, selected to re-invade it and did it on hard and it gave me the last piece.. just crafted it.. thanks again for the help guys

I've been playing division 2 for around 2 months and I've had 60 - 80 fps. Over the last week I can't get more than 30 however. I went from custom (a mix of high and ultra) to medium settings and I get no change in FPS. I've used the GeForce optomize option and still no change. Please help?

One suggestion I have it to reinstall the drivers but do a clean install. There's a checkbox somewhere during installation that u wanna check. It should wipe out any custom settings u may have accidentally made. Then u can give the Nvidia optimal settings a try.

It should be due to your monitor being set at its max level to increase resolution. Try to restart division or reboot your monitor.
