Hope they actually fix issues they were meant patches ago....like enemy backpacks made of Teflon...one thing I noticed too my M203 made launcher even though doing 1.8 million damage doesn't seem.to scratch enemy bosses like the last guy in Grand Washington Hotel. 7 rounds into his face and didn't even crack his armour. Plus seeker mine damage gone way down on mobs even though I haven't touched my build. Enemy run speed is still ridiculous..like drugged up Russian athletes. And mobs refusing to get out if cover even though not being attacked, Most notorious during the Boomer fight when adds refuse to come out of hiding.

Why did they remove the shortcut for the social menu? In Division 1 you hit "O" and it opens directly the group menu

i dont undertsand how this game can be this poorly optimized. i run a 1060 with 8 gigs of ram and a high I5. no not anything special but even with every single setting turned town to low or off i still frame drop walking down the street. theres 28000 pc players in this discord . surely someone has figured out a way around this.

@mellow oriole still can't run dx12 properly, bought a new pc this february i7 9600K, 2x8GB Vengeance LPX , asus prime z390-a board and got a Asus 1060 OC version, but its not overclocked more than how this card comes

OK I've cleared the raid twice now I have 7 keys but I cannot open the Box I've heard that the Box is supposed to light up when you walk toward it and tell you how many keys you need I have never seen this I think my game is glitchy how do I fix this

@tranquil glacier I would suspect hardware or driver issue even though it's new. I'll have to see if there's a way to look at the DA2 log. In the mean time thorough SMART HDD check and a few passes of memtest at least. Just to rule it out. I've had bad RAM sticks out of the box. Are you running a XMP memory profile by chance?

You can also run Prime95 "blend" test immediately after a crash and see if there is any stability issues possibly causing it. It should error pretty quickly.

Is the Resource Distribution Merit commendation bugged for some of you? I tried everything I could, but maxing the officer's supplies after capturing any control point doesn't award me the commendation. Restarting the game, logging in and out or trying in someone else's world doesn't fix it either

Anyone else has problems of Division 2 locking up? Past few days game tends randomly to just hang/freeze. Other programs work fine, Div2 stays on top while alt+tab while freezed. Can only use task manager to force close it. Reinstalled anticheat, didnt help.

when I open the ingame TD2 chat, it always inserts a / character at the beginning so I have to remove it every time, it's really annoying. checked game options, chat settings and googled the issue but didn't find anything relevant. I'm using the Canadian Multilingual Standard keyboard layout and haven't tried other keyboard layouts yet. any ideas?

Hi, guys, first time writing here but I'm a bit desperate.
I was playing the game just fine (bought it this friday) but suddenly, my game "freezes" everytime I open the map. I use quotation marks because the game keeps running behind it (there are dialogues for example) but I cannot do anything besides looking at a bugged map. And this only happens with this option, inventory, escape menu and so on are fine. I also verified the files but no such luck.

hey guys i have a laptop with i7 4720 hq and gtx 950m i have stuttering ingame so i opened the task manager and i discovered that the game is throttling my cpu so hard with 60%-70% cpu usage and 80-90% ram this is the first game that uses my pc like this is this normal ?

I had the same problem because I had a system that was from 2012. Played game on lowest settings and still had stuttering. Recently upgraded my system to roughly 2017 hardware and no more problems anymore.

is anyone having slow mo activity when entering the base of operations in div after the new update? in div 2?
i ran a verify and a benchmark with directx 11 smooth running benchmark with no problems but when entered the base at the white house door way the game went into slow mo with a xfx rx 580....

Having issues launching the game after installing the episode 1 patch. Validated files, did a restart, did the direct X install it asked for, tried launching the game in admin mode and from the Local D: > uplay > division 2.
EAC easy anticheat launcher comes up and the splash pre to that, but the "game" sits idle in my background running 27% of my cpu and doing nothing. Ideas?

I tried checking the forums which recommended the following: switching from dx12 to dx11, switching between different window modes, lowering settings, turning off overclocking (on CPU, GPU and RAM), disabling in-game overlay, verifying game files, re-installing the game (and uplay), overriding DPI scaling, running in compatibility mode, running in administrator mode, enabling nvidia debug mode, updating graphics card drivers. None of these solutions worked at all either individually or in a combination with others. I don't know anything else I can do to try and fix this, the game is quite literally unplayable beyond 15 mins at a time.

the game seems to use around 10GB of virtual memory, 5-6GB of RAM and 5-5.5GB of VRAM on my end (Win10 pro, 32GB RAM. GTX1070 8GB, 1080p medium/high graphics preset)

Basically, if it says Marksman rifle, it is eligeble for the job.

Marksman Rifles are the single shot ones. Tbh they screwed the naming. What div 2 calls a rifle is irl a DMR. While what div 2 calls a DMR is irl a Rifle. For example. Nem and 700 carbon are both Marksman Rifles in game, but would be Sniper Rifles by classification. DMRs are usually assault weapons that have been modified for accuracy and given a semi auto only (usually) trigger group.

Depends on how/where you got stuck. Sometimes "forcing" running or rolling might get you out of that spot, or asking someone to joing your group and then killing yourself so they revive you and you don't lose progress

I quite literally can't bite it, Gunner Spec means I have my Riot Foam. :/

As for how I got stuck, Captiol Hill, pretty much at the start, before you go through the Fence. Tried climbing up the left tower, character slipped, and got stuck betwen the vine on the wall and the wall itself.

Forceclosing worked, it luckily enough saved the CP.

try with some skills, like Oxidizer chem launcher, or Explosive seeker....if you have enough SP to mod them for damage

has anybody got this problem where you click "play" in ubisoft and it loads crazy long before it reaches your player screen. This only happens for me in this game. And the other one is that when I exit the game its load really long as well.

at least you guys can login. Been getting "Ubisoft services unavailable" for 6 weeks. Sometimes I can login when I change my PC clock to May 1st but had no luck getting it fixed. All happened around the time they locked all those accounts for a few.

I tried. It's a launcher issue so I couldn't see a way to raise a ticket unless it falls into a game category. I followed the written instructions to re-install the launcher but there was no change.

All I did was take a week off from logging in to play, installed the Blizzard launcher and have some fun in Diablo 3. No other installations or mucking around with drivers etc. So who knows.

I think they added more phones to find, and when they did, it refreshed the map of all the ones you collected before, so, you have them, but the minimap doesn't realize you do?

I ran into a bug at Camp White Oak, when you try to leave via the helicopter button, which is also the reload button...and you still need to reload, it will reload and you lose all control of your character. He just stands there.

Hey all... run into the infamous castle bug.l on Xbox. Levelling up my 2nd character.. Spoke to Kelso and completed Jefferson plaza in a friends game. Have completed all missions and upgraded theatre up to this point.. when I’m in my own map I can’t get into the castle (doors locked), but I can fast travel in. Jefferson plaza isn’t there, and campus isn’t showing... 😭

Guys for some reason my game is taking too long to switch LoDs, I have the game installed on SSD, but after I start walking, or load to a new area, it takes time to start loading the high poly assets in. Till then everything is just boxes.
I've reinstalled the game, given the game admin rights and tried to play on 720p lowest possible settings, and the problem still occur. Tried both dx11 and dx12

Is anyone else experiencing the map not being invaded. Tidal Basion is locked and says it needs to be invaded. Non of the missions give "toggle invaded" as an option and all the invaded activities are off. Even the alarms in the BOO.

Anyone on Xbox having trouble with audio? I’ve seen comments about gunfire sounding muffled on occasion, but in my case, it’s continuous, and it’s every sound the game makes. I log on and get the Kenly Mission alert from Manny, and it sounds kind of muted. Xbox system sounds are perfectly fine. I’ve checked sound settings in game, tried resetting the system etc. Nothing is working. It’s been nearly a week of this. :S

So if you completed kenley you are guarenteed the diamondback parts from the crypt chest, not the gun itself. Apparently that has been throwing a lot of people off ecpecting the entire gun in their inv. You gotta craft it unless you were lucky enough to get it as a drop.

Anyone with a Nvidia GPU had issues since the last driver update?

Now the game will start in windowed mode even though it should be full screen, and doing anything to try and make it full screen or having the window lose focus will cause the game display to freeze on the last frame it was showing even though the game continues to run underneath (you can tell because of the mouse and sound effects).

Geforce experience did a lot of weirdness to my other games when I reinstalled it so its likely my config got corrupted somehow

That I do not know. Have you tried changing the settings in GeForce experience? Sometimes that works.

I have, and I've noticed that after I've optimized the settings with Experience, it will say the game's been set to full screen with 1080p resolution but when I start the game again and the issue recurs immediately Experience says it's been set to Windowed mode with no specified resolution. All other settings are the same

I know it's not a general hardware issue because I was playing Vermintide 2 right before trying Division and played Tarkov immediately after trying it a couple of times. So it's either a driver or config issue.

I'm trying to upgrade my bench to 500 but every time I begin to hold 'x', it takes me to the crafting station. When I try to manually click the 'Upgrade bench', it tells me 'Blueprint item requirements not met'. I'm meeting all the requirements for the upgrade. Is there a glitch on the side missions? I'm showing that I have 36/37 side missions done. I checked all my loot and I have all the gear/mods from the secret side missions. The only weird thing I cannot explain is when I went to do the navy transmission side mission I was able to accept the mission but it just said enjoy the rewards but a mission never loaded.

BUG REPORT: Almost EVERY time i open the projects menu (from the settlement/white house or on the pause menu) the game crashes with a blue screen, this is happening with almost everyone in my clan, is extremely frustating since it takes at least 5 min to get back into the game!

Hey guys. I need some help with my headset mic on Xbox One. I recently got live and initiated some matchmaking on Camp White Oak. There was a guy in my group who was asking if I could hear him. I absolutely could, but he couldn’t hear me. I checked all the settings in game and on the console, as well as all the different mute options. Everything seemed fine. When I play with my brother and do it through party chat, it works as expected. It seems to just be in game chat with people not on my friend list. Am I missing something here? Thanks!

The game runs at 20-30 fps. After I restart it's back up in the 60-80fps

Not sure if someone mentioned this or if it's been fixed...

Encountered a UI issue in which I'm in a friendly CP to donate resources to the officer. Then a random NPC bumps into me and the UI disappears. I couldn't select any resource, donate, etc. Afterwards, interacting with the officer is completely rendered useless...

To fix this, I had to log out then go back in. But obviously this is a painful process to really sit back through the loading screens to donate 10 bottles of water.

Hello there. I play Div2 for two days on Xbox One X and I have troubles with sound. My issue is about silencing "tracks". I will describe it: After several tens of minutes in game, in some moment, sounds of guns and NPCs voices are muted. After some minutes later I can not hear my footsteps. And sometimes after some more minutes the whole environmental sounds are muted and often I can hear only some grunting squeezy sounds instead. One time restarting of console helped. Did someone have the same problem? Is there any way I can fix it myself? Or is it game's problem which need some patch fix? Thank you, Peter

@dim topaz So I solved my problem. It was neither the game, nor the video drivers. It was my antivirus. Checking the CPU usage, I saw the AV sending CPU spikes from <10% to 40-50% of my octacore, causing video lags. Fortunately, solved with just an update...

@vast venture I have had this problem as well. It also happens in Supply Drops. Out of 3 TC's I've done, the glitch has happened twice, and 1 of 2 Supply Drops. This is on top of the game-breaking bug that prevents me from progressing to world tiers, mind you. I've had sort of a shitty experience :/

For those having lag issues try out to limit the fps. My game made 85fps but with horrible lag and 98% GPU usage. Limiting to 60fps and lag was gone and GPU went to 80% usage .... @@hollow elk

Nope definetly not.... Ryzen 5 1600x should do it. Besides that please read again what i experienced and shared with the community. I tried out things to solve my lag problem the whole day and at least i ran the internal Benchmark from Div2 that showed me what i wrote above. After throtteling the frames game works smoth as f..k without doing anything else so its definetly a tip and worth a try

@elfin plinth Ryzen 5 first gen is trash compared to 2nd and 3rd gen. Especially if you're not running B-Die. High GPU usage is not what causes stuttering.

Ahh... I see youre an expert so i wont discuss any further. CPU usage dropped for sure but only a few % and was in a good state before...
Now i can put everything in ultra settings and then limit the frames so my shitty CPU can handle it. If its that what you wanted to read im fine with it. Problem is solved

According to this video the R5 1600x does 146fps using 70 % CPU. All done with an GTX 2080TI to eliminate GPU as a bottleneck. Here you can clearly see what the CPU is capabale for...so yeah its my CPU causing lag

I don't think you understand what causes frame stuttering. The benchmark doesn't show 1%/.01% lows which is exactly what shows stuttering. Also DX12 alleviates the CPU bottleneck, but causes crashes.

If it would be the current patch your mentioned lows would occure even with the lower CPU usage i assume. On my side the pc crashed hard while running Division 2 with the lag four times. It just switched off. When i was trying to provoke that i used to play AC Odyssey while running two you tube instances and a movie at the same time for 30 min and could not reproduce it. Since i changed the fps no crash or lag occured

The only fix I found, was to do a hard reset of my modem and router (Unplug power from modem, wait a few mins, then plug it in. Unplug power from router, wait a few mins, then plug it in.).

I don't think anything will fix the issues DirectX 12 has with The Division 2. Nvidia are looking into it but still no fix. Took some time for them to supposedly fix the DirectX 12 Renderer option in The Division so yeah, I doubt we'll see a quick fix any time soon. Best just stick to DirectX 11

Xbox One gameplay seems to stutter and briefly freeze once in a while. This seems to be more frequent after the last patch. It's quite annoying like when it freezes in the middle of a gunfight and I'll get wrecked without a chance. Not sure what to do other than the tedious soft resets.

So I've been playing for weeks and all of a sudden today I have serious performance issues. Nothing at all has changed about my PC, I was plying fine and then suddenly I get massive FPS drops when I try turning left or right. Restarting the game, rebooting, updating graphics drivers have all been tried. Also playing the game set to low. Nothing changes this behavior.

I've hit that issue (FPS drops) when I play another game that has a different windowed mode / resolution, quit, and then load up Division 2 on Windowed Fullscreen. Either I have to reboot my system or switch the resolution to Windowed mode or Fullscreen.

Someone on this Discord had a similar problem last week on their laptop, and because of a Win10 update it was defaulting to the onboard graphics card instead of their Nvidia graphics card, so it could be that.

Make sure your cpu isnt at 100% in benchmark. Also use the nvidia experence optimization. That should help

Make sure your windows power configuration is set to high performance and in nvidia control panel set power to maximum performance. Also setting the nvidia gpu as dedicated physx instead of auto wont hurt.

Most crashs ive helped troubleshoot is caused by cpu runs at 100% in benchmark. The gpu should be max not cpu. By using nvidia game optimizer usually solves that.

@lusty verge Had the same issue, I was able to solve it by just turning off my recording software (Plays.tv). There was also a temp fix where you load the game, turn on DX12, close the game, load the game again turn off DX12, close the game, and then finally load it back up and put it in fullscreen. It'd only work for one gameplay session though

Hey there, I have turn on dx12 and my game is always black screen once I start launching. I tried verifying game files, updating drivers and deleting graphic.settings and state cfg files but its still the same problem.

Step 1: Go to the directory where The Division 2 is installed; "\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2"
Step 2: Right Click on TheDivision.exe and select PROPERTIES option.
Step 3: Click on the "Compatibility" Tab.
Step 4: Tick the checkbox that reads "Disable Full Screen Optimization."
Step 5: Select "Change High DPI Settings" option
Step 6: Tick the checkbox that reads "Override High DPI Scaling Behaviour. Scaling Performed by." and from the dropdown menu select "Application."
Step 7: Click OK.

NOTE: Make sure you have turned OFF Steam Overlay and Ubisoft Overlay.

My audio is really fucked up. Dialogue is close to impossible to hear (at 100), music sounds choppy, I can’t hear my reloads. Was absolutely fine yesterday. I’ve verified my game files and its still broken. I’m checking if its just division 2 that was fucked up

i have 4 charactors i have been playing this game for a long time for the past couple months i can not login ...i have tried unistalling restarting and reinstalling muliple times i ran updates on my pc..i decided to try my alt characotrs today all 3 can login but on my primary charactor i can not any advice
