Anyone else unable to play the game in fullscreen or fullscreen windowed?
I feel like i have tried everything that i can think of.
What i have tried so far:
- Reinstalled the game
- Reinstalled my Graphics drivers and also using DDU first to completely remove any remains of the older version before
- Tried changing the Graphics settings from Geforce Experience.
When i applied fullscreen from geforce experience, the game starts in fullscreen mode. But as soon any loading screen starts it just freezes and then it crashes.
Everything worked fine when the game first launched and also under both the betas, it just crashed one day and after that i am unable to start/play the game in fullscreen for the last week and a half

@dry laurel I would try uninstalling geforce experience and any lighting control programs that are running in the background. I found this helped me out. Also, I always have run the game in fullscreen windowed since the beta and that seems to prevent crashes for me.

For some reason dx12 doesn't work well with some AMD CPUs
Div 2 seems to rely on CPU heavily at times so it causes drops in framerate. Ubi seems aware of it, as the recent update has significantly improved it for me. I found that turning off steam helped

no not really, all the newer games coming out with DX12 are running prettty good, Hitman, Shadow of the tomb raider, rise of the tomb raider, Sniper elite all of those has been great dx12 games.

hey guys, I wanted to spread the word on a possible fix for dx11/12 crashing for some people, I believe it's related to the EAC process. You can find easyanticheat.exe in the details tab of task manager, right-click while you have div2 open, and peg it to any thread on your instance of windows. If it works, consider yourself fortunate

I’ve been getting Bluescreen errors lately DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION whilst playing the game. Nothing in particular seems to trigger it, and it usually happens after an hour or so of playing. The sound will make a big buzz noise and then everything will freeze, the entire system will not respond to any key presses or combinations (like control alt delete). My specs are i5 4690k, rtx 2060.

Those settings are seriously resource hungry
And they barely look different between settings unless you really try to find a difference lol

go in to BIOS and set to defaults, that's the only way to tell. If you are not overclocking or tweaking your PC and it causes you issues it will require more narrowing down

you have a 1070 gtx, so that card is fine for most games at decent settings, you coudl save money abd get a bundle, but then you will prolly end up with a good cpu and bad mobo, and some ok ram

i had that happen to me
the thing that i did to solve it was this
i turned down chromatic aberation and ambient occlusion but also the big thing was i disabled the Uplay overlay in game. Cause i was having apex legends and anthem crashes and when i turned off origin ingame and made sure everything was updated windows/nvidia ect. then I havent had crashes until today where i clicked equip on a patch and the game bugged out and started flickering and now i can't launch the game even.

Game is broken for me
Can't play at all, since Main Menu graphics are all glitchy with sparkling RGB effects on it.
And if that happens while in-game my game becomes all bright and can't see anything.
This only happens with DX12 but it's the only way i can play TD2 since DX11 stutters every 1.5sec with no stops.

IT didn't stop the crashes completely for me, but it definitely helped spread them out

It's basically just limited the process to which cores it can access
You do it via task manager
Task Manager > Details > Right Click on EAT > Set Affinity
Do it while the game is loading, doesn't matter which core you chose either.
You'll have to do it each time you load the game, though. So it just becomes a tedious task.

DX12 was causing me to crash every 3-5 minutes in game. Tried all the usual workarounds and nothing worked. So I decided to uninstall Geforce Experience and then I went to C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools\NVCameraConfiguration.exe started it and selected disable on the bottom.
Since then, I've had a total of 2 crashes over an entire weekend

So, when I'm doing missions everything runs smoothly, but once I step out into the world/freeroam it becomes laggy almost to the point of it being unplayable. Guessing it's not a graphics thing since I've got that turned down all the way (despite running Ryzen 7 2700X/Radeon RX 580)...
could it be:
- bad connection with server (though traffic monitor shows me not even pushing my bandwidth to my limits)?
- low ram (8GB which is the the minimum, but somehow it was fine during the beta)?
- something else I haven't noticed?

it was horrible for me also, from time to time i have the stuttering too. i figured out for me good setting to play. specs: I76700K, 16GB RAM and 1070. ambien occlusion on middle, local reflection off, contact shadow all sun low, fog on low( you dont see the difference). Everything else i have on ultra and i play on 1080p. i have smoothly 80 fps, sometimes in open areas under 65fps, but much better and without noticeable difference

Having an issue where I have been seeing what I can only call fireworks on the screen from time to time. I have been messing with the settings and so far if I put it on Medium it seems fine. Has anyone else been getting massive FPS spikes in the last 2 weeks? I seem to get shuttering and massive drops from 80-100fps to like 30fps. This makes my character run in place for maybe 1-2 seconds. which causes me to die alot if it happens in combat. not sure where to start.

Having checked all safe house computers, got the 5 from the Campus Settlement, picked up the 4 around the Whitehouse, 100% on side missions, and picked up the one in the construction site mission. You might be missing the construction site mission SHD, as well as the same 5

The main things ive done to help stop the crashing is run everything on low, disabled antivirus turn off ALL overlays (including GPU vendor overlays like AMD/NVIDIA) run ISLC and have a huge pagefile. lately i havent been having any crashes since ive done all those things.
it sucks running everything on low but i would rather the game not crash than look better and crash all the time. i still hope they fix it up in the next patch.

@rancid peak keep win10 gamemode off, disable any nvidia or amd overlays in services. if need be do a fresh install of your drivers (that helped a bit for me) run ISLC while your playing the game to clear out standby memory. go into Task Manager and limit EAC to one core since that causes the 100% cpu "bug" and put upc.exe and UplayWebCore to lower priority. cant gurantee this will help but it helped me. i still get crashes tbh but they usually happen after about 2 hours of playtime.

like i said, the game is just really sensitive to crashes on certain configs and honestly the 1.7 patch made the crashes a lot worse imo.

I have i7 8700K, GTX 1080 Ti FTW, 16GB TridentZ RGB RAM and I was crashing like a mofo
Just about every 15-30 minutes, sometimes even before I loaded into my game
I tried everything that has been suggested on Reddit and the forums, and nothing worked.
The only thing that finally worked, and I hated that I even had to do it, was downclocking my GPU my 100MHz
Hopefully this next patch fixes everything, so I can go back to stock GPU
But I doubt it. Not with their track record of breaking the game even more with patches,
I wouldn't bother doing a memtest, it's already pretty much confirmed the issue is in the game, not your hardware.

I decided to abandon a couple of projects that seemed to be bugged in the first place. When i did that it triggered some sort of bug where i am getting the message audio FOREVER. Tried loggign out and restarting the game, but no good. It still keeps going. Tried to force that audio to trigger by leveling a Control Point. Does not even show me the message.

Unable to change my clan from invite only to open. I select open. Hold x to apply, A to confirm and then it processes, great. One problem. Pressing B to go back discards the changes. Pressing LB to tab doesn't save the changes.

Got info on why my game was crashing but i don't know if this would fix it. Looked up on Windows Event Viewer and it said "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
Will try to underclock my GPU and increase my TdrDelay from 2 to 8 to see if that stops the crashes on DX12.

not sure if you guys know this, when starting a new game you'll start with 0 ammo for the specialisation weapon, go to the counter and respec to another weapon (hold F to skip the cutscene) then back to the one you want and you'll have full ammo count on the current spec.

Hey, so I can't launch the game. I get to the "Connecting to online session" screen and then it hard crashes and asks me if I want to send a report (which I have 4 times now) but I can't seem to figure out why the game keeps crashing.
