Think there is a game_starter_log as well, you can see if you spot som abnormal errors. If none of that works, try contact Ubi support chat I reckon. They'll probably need your msinfo and dxconfig.

Does your character info say 0% cooldown reduction now then?

Press I for inventory, then its the round looking thingie to the right in the top right. Scroll down till you find cooldown reduction. Cant remember if you get any cooldown reduction from the perks, or skills.. and I am tired :p

Try to scout around your map and see if their is any missions for "campus settlement upgrade" and try doing those. see if that opens anything up for you. (when you click on a mission it will be under the rewards)

I have missing geometry, super-low textures, missing audio and general weirdness such as geometry/models not loading/changing in the character creator half the time, benchmark stops loading at 10% and a host of other bugs. I've also found a ton of other people talking about it but no real fix. Really blowing my mind that Ubi isn't acknowledging this issue.

I have a feeling its actually something to do with the Easy Anti-Cheat system, because I had the same issue playing Apex Legends any time I'd run an overlay. Game would start fine then immediately crash about 5 minutes into a match

Speaking of an anti-cheat, get this, I played the Beta for BFV -- then got it last week. Logged in to find I was perma banned for Cheating. What's insane is I've never cheated in my life at a video game (hacks/exploits/etc). I put in a ticket and they are still looking into it a week later... 😦

so i have a geforce rtx 2080 gpu and i have infrequent but common frame drops where i freeze hitting 0 frames in the division 2 (i play medium settings but my computer requirements meet ultra settings). i have tried changing all me display and visual settings in the game but it happens again and again and about a month before launch started happening in the division 1 also. there was no gpu driver update when is started, im all out of ideas and was wondering if anyone had any or had experienced this also before i put in a support ticket.

hello guys, idk if there are any of you still having issues with audio in game but this worked for me

Conexiant audio device

Follow these steps to update drivers and have sound Activated

     1. Log into computer as Administrator

    2. Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.

    3. Search for Sound Video and Game Controllers and expand it.

    4. Right click on the sound card driver and select Update device software.

    5. “Select Browse my computer for driver software” and move to next

    6.Choose “let me pickup from a list of device drivers on my computer”

    7. In the next screen enable check box - show compatible hardware.

    8.Choose from the list “High Definition Audio Device” and click finish.

    9.Restart the computer and notice sound is active.

    10.Notice High definition Audio Device driver is provided by MICROSOFT.

now sysnative isn't a thing its actually system 32 your looking for, find system 32, go to drivers, go to easyanticheat, right click and creat shortcut to the desktop then try a launch the game again, make sure you have closed down the launcher first

okay x264 uses CPU which could cause stuttering, try NVENC thats the best one for 1070 upwards Nvidia GPU's see if that makes a difference, whats your rate control ?

Find the location of your "TheDivision2.exe" application
Right click it and Select properties
Click on the Tab labeled "Compatibility"
Check the box that says "Disable full screen optimizations"
Click on "Change high DPI settings"
Check the box that says "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by."
Select "Application" in the drop down box. Click ok

HUGE problem with game. I tried playing, and I got the charlie 03 error saying that there was an 'anticheat integrity failure'. I reinstalled the game TWICE, reinstalled uplay, restared my pc countless times and tried verifying files. Now, the problem has only gotten WORSE, as my game crashes right at the snow-drop engine cutscene when the game launches. Is there any fix to this besides completely factory resetting my pc just for one game?

Sigh, I tried tracking my cpu and it didn't even spike up to 100 both cpu and gpu.
I turned that reduced latency but it is still happening.
I don't even have dx12 as I run on 8.1.

Really @gusty saffron ? Haven't seen them mention it happening on dual monitors.

@sick lodge are you getting 100% CPU usage? as in no matter where you are its near solid 100% If so drop resolution scale to 85% and sharpening to 10, you wont notice the difference in visuals on your screen but it will reduce CPU usage.

the only thing that confuses me is i can run any modern game on ultra and getting over 70 frames without any issues, no matter what i change settings wise on division im getting the exact same problems. CPU usage doesnt appear to be an issue at least according to the usage im seeing, at its worst its peaking to about 35%

Hi Dragon, happens to me occasionally. Has to do with error while quitting last game. Just click on the 1600*900 window while booting and press 'ALT+enter'. Ur game should go fullscreen and all other settings should remain.

Hi guys, you need to fix that error in the arms of the characters (the main one and NPC's). When you equip a machine gun or some models of shotguns, the left arm becomes very thin and very ugly. It looks like a branch of a tree. Even tattoos on the arm disappear when that happens! I've recorded it on video!

They should also improve the option to optimize weapons. I liked how it was done in TD1! It was easier! Can they fix it too?

So is anyone's game freezing during character creation? It'll work for a couple of minutes but then suddenly freeze, I'll get a burst of audio, and then it'll go silent and unfreeze again.

I also notice that if I'm alt-tabbed out, it'll play audio. If I'm alt-tabbed in, it's silent.

i seem to be having a problem where whenever i engage in combat, my frame rates drop below 10 and the game freezes for like 10-15 seconds then i die due to the massive frame rate drop. is there a way to fix this?

Adding this in here for all with "freezes"

So first of all the tool is called "Intelligent standby list cleaner" and it's made by Wagnardsoft
it's pretty slick and just does its job once you set it up.

as for the config file it's located in your documents and then the game folder and under graphics setting.cfg
Can you find the line saying ["streamer dedicated budget"] = 4096, (well input any number of ram you will allow it there

In short division 2 have an issue where even though it releases the memory it have used does windows hog it like a maniac and stores it in case div2 want to use it later ( div 2 isn't coded to reuse from the Standby list I think you guys get the problem )
anyway whenever the Standbylist fills out your ram will you your system momentarily freeze ( dx11 uses less hence is less prone but still happens )

( and believe me when I say it can end up hogging a lot of ram doesn't matter if you got 32gig or 64gigs of ram it will fill out.

I have 16gigs of free memory and I set the application to clean every time it fills up more than 8gig, it have cleared 4 times in the last 10min so feel free to do the math how quick your ram will fill out ) xD

Has anyone run into an issue where you can not seem to select any other mod slot on a weapon? If I try to load an appropriate caliber mag mod it will always go to the scope slot and no matter what I do I cannot select any other slot.

Need assistance. No crash errors in log, so I am unable to troubleshoot any issues.. Game will crash when I hit continue. No error name, nothing else pops up but send crash report. Re-installed the game, no fix, reinstalled Anti-Cheat, no fix. Checked all my PC drivers, nothing needs done there.. Im running out of options and getting really upset that I can't play the game.

They're working on a fix @radiant knot , or at least we all hope they are. Really makes soloing difficult when the hive, turret, and drone are all despawning and unusable.

Not that I've seen, beside mentioning it here.

Also regarding the skills despawning, I've noticed the bug triggers much more regularly when you cancel your own skills, rather than letting them run out for the full duration. Seems a temporary fix to just let your skills run out at full duration, even if it's annoying to trigger the longer cooldowns.

exit the game, go to C:\Users***\Documents\My Games and rename the 'Tom Clancy's The Division 2' to something else then startup the game.

Just give it a go. I'm pretty sure that folder isn't removed when you uninstall the game. if the game can't find it, it'll build a new version.
