the best fix that I came up with for is to cap my frame rate to 60 and it is around 40-70%
and I bet if @coral spindle checks his CPU he will see 100% usage because I was having his problem as well

i have an i7-8700k and a 1060 with a mixture of medium and low settings and i get drops every minute or so 😭 im eager to continue playing but sadly until they release a fix for the massive fps drops im gonna have to hold off because it just ruins the experience

@still wraith well I tried to play today after the server maintenance and.... 7.1 gone. Testing sound in Logitech control center, even if showing 7.1 active, I had just stereo sound. And Im not meaning in-game. In every situation. I had to unintall/reinstall Logitech drivers/software.

Find the location of your "TheDivision2.exe" application
Right click it and Select properties
Click on the Tab labeled "Compatibility"
Check the box that says "Disable full screen optimizations"
Click on "Change high DPI settings"
Check the box that says "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by."
Select "Application" in the drop down box. Click ok

Anyone have your characters skin tone and appearance change? I logged in yesterday and my agent’s facial features and skin tone changed pretty significantly. I confirmed with a few friends that played with me the day before that my character did change and after spending a while making my character look the way it did, it’s quite frustrating.

Yeah then that would be because its the cheap version, the EU version would have all of the languages and I think the EU version also has Spanish and French language pack as well

It happened after unlocking the particular person in the BoO that relates to that [avoiding spoilers]. I went and visited once (didn’t change anything) then logged off for the night came back to the changed appearance. I’ve logged on and off since then and it’s the same different face features, skin tone, etc

Guys, me and a bunch of other players having a very bad connection to the servers. Doesn't say "Poor connection to the Host", just a really bad lag. Example: I open the box of ammo, and char squats next to it for 10-15 seconds until it responds. Enemies arent reacting and such. I have posted a ticket that hasn't been reacted to in more then 24 hours, same with forums where a number of people have responded to me that they have the same problem, but Ubisoft hasn't replied to it. I have played perfectly fine since 12th, the problem started just about 30 minutes before 15th. Since then i am barely able to play the game. And the most annoying part is the silence from the other side. I have done all of the troubleshooting steps, although, the issue is not ISP, nothing has changed since the 12th. It is very frustrating that no one is acknowledging the problem and respond to us that something is being done to fix this. Please help? I am lost at this point...

The stuttering issue is not due to overlays, third party programs or logitec drivers. these solved the issue for some people but people are still suffering from this unplayable stutter
there are messages everywhere about the stuttering. I have it bad in my game and I have tried everything.

look for the division 2 in the (select program to customize) then scroll to the bottom of the (specify the settings for the program) and it should say vertical sync and turn that off. seems to work sometimes

hey guys im having some trouble with the game mainly 3 Any input would be appreciated. 1. Sometime during game play there would be a few freeze frame follow by a few beeping sounds when pressing keys, stickykeys, filter keys are both turned off, happens on both my pc and laptop, only in this game. 2. game sometimes starts in window mode no matter how many times i set it to full screen. 3. All my skills were messed up last game, turret would dispear, cant use any skills except heal. Thank you

It might have turned back on maybe, double check. Also I agree frames are a fair bit lower since the patch. The game don't feel so buttery smooth. Hopefully they fix it soon
@void grail are the beeps window sounds? Sounds like it's sticky keys. I think it's a bug starting in window mode, just alt+enter and it pops into fullscreen. Skills ara a bit buggy right now, I think the devs are working furiously right now to patch things on the fly. Hang in there my dude

DX12 seems to spread the load better across GPU and CPU, where as DX11 seems to focus on CPU more, so if CPU is bottleneck try DX12 to offload some of that load. Sure it might not be so high FPS, but it might help

So I get no audio when I am playing the game. When I launch the game I get the audio when it is loading the game but as soon and I get to the main menu my audio gets muted. When I do Alt + Tab and go onto another application my audio comes back.

also: Open Uplay and click the little gear icon in the top right corner.
Click settings
Under the general tab uncheck "Enable in-game overlay for supported games." You'll get a warning when you try to launch the game about having this unchecked but I don't think it actually affects anything in game.

If you have an audio switcher enabled, and you switch audio sources while in game you can't switch them back until you click out-of-focus.
(edit) If I open another audio source, it reverts to "switched" audio source.
My example:
- Switching between Headphones and Speakers.
If I have my headphones in, and click my audio switch to speakers, I can't switch back to headphones unless I click out of game. Though if I open up another program with audio, it will switch back to speakers.
