Alos it's running faster than it's reported clock speed, so pushing the hardware even further than what it's confortable at in a laptop. that could also be your issue

Haven't been able to play Early Access yet as it's not available yet in my timezone (Sweden) but I hope I'll have no issues running the game. Open beta ran very smooth on my system which is i7 8700, gtx 1080 and 16 Gb ram.

Sounds good! Yeah can't recall exactly what my fps was on ultra settings but I think just under 100 in most cases with dips to maybe 70-80 during the open beta.
Might be a difference between how the open beta and full game runs though, will be interesting to see.

However, this wasn't the same audio bug found in beta. its a different one occurring to only some players with logitech 9xx or 5xx headphones.
And if anybody is facing issues with these kinda headphones, please unplug your usb adapter and plug the headphones directly in the headphone jack

Initially when i the audio bug started to appear for me, a few hours back, the game freezed. And had to kill the process. But after a restart of the machine, it seemed to work fine. May be the third party software the game installed prior to starting, need some restart.

laughs did no one not learn from launch day of TD1? Purchase through uplay ONLY. We had the same issues with Steam.
The same hitching issues, sound problems and etc. on launch day of TD1.
-Turn off your overlays, all of em: Geforce Experience, iCUE, Razors Synapse, ulays, Discords, Logitech..all of em and if need be, turn the programs off completely if you have to, trouble shoot, adjust your graphic settings, be it Vsynch, chromatic yadda yadda and etc....trouble shoot each setting as you go.
and finally yes, we had these issue back on launch day of The Division it was a rough ride, so we are here to help 😃
Mhmm not to mention we didnt get patches through steam for up to a week but uplay was spot on day one on patch releases. I get why most of it was due to patch reviewing on steams part before releasing it

I found a weird fix for the audio issues on Logitech headsets. I had plugged in a pair of 3.5mm headphones then cycled the in game audio output. Fixed the issue for now. Haven't run into it again yet.

@opal fox I would try DX11 if DX12 is crashing or vice versa. I'm running the game on DX12 with the lastest NVidia drivers that were released last week for The Division 2 , on my 2080Ti getting very good FPS with Ultra preset then everything maxed out above Ultra. Running 2560x1440 on my Samsung 144Hz HDR 32" gaming monitor, game looks pretty damn good. Now I can even use the Gsync on this Freesync 2 monitor 😃

I cannot start my game because I need to login to ubisoft from the Epic Games Launcher. When I try to do so, it redirects me to my browser and gets stuck on a "verifying" screen. It does that for ten minutes then times out, leaving me to start the same process over again.

@everyone discovery made by accident. Put the game in windowed mode. resize it manually by draggiong the border so it is ALMOST full screen and then lag goes waaaaaaaay down

Anyone on PC having an issue switching from windowed to full screen? Everytime I start the game its in windowed I switch it to full screen and game freezes. It didnt do it last night but 9/10 attempts this morning it has froze

For everyone else having EpicStore issues: So my Epic Store purchase can't be tracked by Ubisoft, but my accounts have already been linked. The situation is out of Ubisoft's hands as they can't pull that information and now comes the long and hard fight to get our keys released from Epic Games.
Fucking hell, I've been at this since I got off work around 6pm. It's almost 2am where I am, and it's been an exhausting and fucking frustrating day waiting on Epic to get their shit in order. Hope all you other agents are having better days

Bad Performance with GTX 1060 3GB
I'm getting pretty low frame rates even at medium settings with my 1060 3GB, averaging around 30FPS. Benchmark says average 60FPS on Medium but in game it dips a lot lower. The recommended system specs for 1080p 60FPS is a GTX 970, which is nearly identical in terms of power to the GTX 1060, which is very very slightly faster. Is the game perhaps just unoptimized at the moment?

The Division 2 has just been released on Early Access for certain players. As such, there are fewer players trying to access the game than will likely be at launch. Even so, it is likely that there will be server drops during the first days, as has already been the case for some players.

Hii UbiDevs, I would like to report that the Washington hotel mission where you "Rescue Eleanor Sawyer" is causing players to lag to the point of unplayability, I was wondering if a hot fix could be implemented into the game to fix this??
The problem seems to be present on the PS4 and Xbox
And carries over through this mission
I myself am yet to experience this issue but hope for the sake of others currently experiencing this error, I hope that it can be resolved before the release of the standard edition on Friday

So I ran the game in DX11 mode. Then in DX12 mode. After switching back to DX11 mode the game launches to black screen and crashes.
I have tried verifying files and deleting the Division 2 directory in documents.

I can't even get past the opening mission crashes everytime at the last cut scene. Then I can't launch the game for a fee tries. Fixed the audio but now this :/

Someone posted "Hold your heal key" on Reddit, but that does not work. Another wrote that special ammo is more like a buff, automatically activated on pickup. That would be stupid.

Was able to request a refund for standard edition so that I may purchase gold. Now no payment methods in either the launcher or their website work. When trying to use paypal through the launcher it instantly declines before even selecting a payment method now. I've attempted prepaid visa, my debit card, and paypal. normally you want a game to use as much memory as possible .. because that means less loading from the hard drive or caching it onto a hard drive . That said there are examples where old data is stuck in a memory leak that is never ever needed anymore can just increase the memory usage because it gets not cleared out ... Example would be if you kill an enemy and it despawned but you still have his position and meta data in memory instead of just game code and assets
