Very old accounts that have commanders no longer in use are hurt more by accrued commander power, then younger accounts. As the game has changed people that max commanders as meta changes, accounts slowly lose fighting power because troop power is replaced by commander power. The commander power could be capped but a commander not used anymore should not be counted on your current power totals.
Everyone complains about matchmaking and when kvks seem unfair, I feel the commander power really skews this into an even worse situatio. When older camps many accounts have bloated commander power, trying to look at power and team in Kvk as allies looks like they should have more troops by the alliance power numbers. Dead troops, healed troops, and kills all are now tracked and people that have lower commander power numbers can have more troops.
I have two possible solutions for this issue.
1 cap commander power at say 4-5m and the rest is not counted at all.
2. Take away commander power in general and just use armament and gear as power that is ranked. Because there is no way to tell an account with maxed gear and armaments or an old account that just has a lot of maxed commanders.
You want us to work on new commanders all the time please don’t penalize the fighting abilities and cost more in passports for accounts that have been playing a very long time.
