  5. War of the Ruins: Contend for an age-old battlefield in search of missing treasure.

2. New Season of Conquest Story "Tides of War" Pioneer Event Coming Soon
New features in this story:

  1. Tides: In Tides of War, the Lost Kingdom will cycle through phases known as "Tides". Each Tide will last for 4 days and have its own unique mechanics.
  2. Tide Effects: Each Tide has its own mechanics, which will affect all governors in the Lost Kingdom. Plan your strategy ahead of time to get the most out of each Tide.
  3. Personal Directives: During each Tide, you can choose one of 4 Personal Directives to issue, which will provide you with a unique buff for the rest of the Tide.
  4. Alliance Directives: Your alliance leader and officers will also be able to issue Alliance Directives, with 2-3 unique Directives per Tide. Alliance Directives will affect all members of your alliance and help shape your strategic direction.
  5. Alliance Merit Shop: During this story, killing or severely wounding other governors' units will earn you Merits. Merits can be used in the Alliance Merit Shop to redeem alliance supplies. Alliance supplies can be restocked by gathering resources and defeating Barbarian Patrols during certain Tides.

3. Commander Skill Description Rework
In this version, we've rewritten and optimized the descriptions for virtually every commander skill. Note that we have NOT changed the actual effects of any of these skills. Below are some specific changes we made:

  1. The term "normal attack damage" has been replaced with "normal damage" and the term "normal attack" has been replaced by "basic attack".
  • The previous term "normal attack damage" has always included damage dealt by BOTH normal attacks and counterattacks, and we felt that this term did not clearly express this idea.
  1. For all commander skills, we have worked to eliminate ambiguities, more clearly define targets/scopes, improve readability, and unify/optimize terminology. This includes things like clarifying skill conditions/triggers, more clearly stating cooldown times/durations, breaking skills into more readable chunks, etc.
  2. As previously stated, these changes are purely textual and have no effect on the actual effects of these skills.

4. "Siege of Orléans" Season of Conquest Story Optimization

  1. Added text to the auxiliary skills interface to more clearly show when in the Lost Kingdoms Chronicles each commander is unlocked.
  2. Certain skills that had no effect when equipped as auxiliary skills can no longer be equipped as auxiliary skills.
  3. Increased the Writ cap to 10000.
  4. Optimized Motte performance and made them more recognizable on the map.
  5. Added Pyrrhus and Pericles to the list of auxiliary commanders.
Items 1-4 will apply to all Lost Kingdoms in the Siege of Orléans story immediately after the update. Item 5 will only apply to Lost Kingdoms that begin after the update.
#

5. PC Version Improvements

  1. Added shortcut keys to Scenario Battles, mainly used for the Ceroli event series, Ian's Ballads, and Champions of Olympia.
  2. Optimized text input.
  3. Optimized the performance of certain videos and interfaces.
  4. Fixed an issue where logging in via Google was sometimes blocked.

6. Other Improvements

  1. Optimized the map overlay in Ark of Osiris when zoomed out. You should now be able to see both friendly and enemy troops on the map when zoomed out.
  2. Added additional information to commander skill descriptions, including "target type", which identifies whether an active skill affects one target or multiple targets.
  3. Optimized the logic of Huo Qubing's "Dragon of the Desert" skill:
  • Added new visual effects when Huo Qubing's troop receives the bonus to skill damage.
  • In Sunset Canyon, Lost Canyon, and the Golden Kingdom, the skill will trigger immediately at the start of battle.
  1. The "Hold Position After Attack" setting will no longer automatically reset if enabled.
  2. Adjusted the design of the Scout Camp interface.
  3. Optimized scouting:
  • Added the ability to jump to the next unclaimed Tribal Village after claiming a Tribal Village's rewards.
  • Scouts will now hold position for 60 minutes when asked to hold position after exploring the fog.
  • Scouts will now hold position for 60 minutes when asked to hold position after exploring a Mysterious Cave.
  1. Season Length and Mechanic Adjustments:
  • Removed the fog system from the Heroic Anthem story (except for the Preparation Season) and extended the story's duration to 50 days.
  • For the Preparation Season, extended the Heroic Anthem story's duration to 50 days.
(These changes will only apply to Heroic Anthem Seasons that begin registration after the update)
  1. Added a toggleable confirmation prompt when attacking or scouting a governor in your own camp.
  2. Optimized the interface of the Wheel of Fortune event. Commander skill levels displayed on the event page should now reflect the actual skill levels of the commanders you own.
  3. The Alliance Mobilization event will be opened to more kingdoms, with the rewards adjusted depending on which Season an alliance is in.
  4. The cooldown for accepting immigrants to your kingdom has been reduced from 1 minute to 30 seconds.
  5. Adjusted the order of the reward buffs in the "Eve of the Crusade" Season of Conquest event. The fifth and sixth buffs have switched places.
  6. The Olympia Token Shop will be opened for a limited time so you can spend any unused Olympia Tokens you have.

Thank you for supporting Rise of Kingdoms. We hope you enjoy the game!

*See the Event Calendar for a detailed schedule. Some events will only be available in regions where all kingdoms have existed for at least 21 days.

2. Awaken Your Iconic Equipment to New Heights!

  1. Except for the weapon Trial of the Lost Kingdom and gathering equipment, all Legendary equipment can be awakened into Iconic equipment. Iconic equipment is split into five upgradeable tiers.
*All Iconic effects already in the game will now be Iconic I tier.
  1. The cost of awakening a piece of equipment and its Iconic effects depend on its level and type.
  • Awakening to Iconic I tier requires Iconic Crystals and Gold.
  • Subsequent Iconic tiers require equipment blueprints, equipment materials, and Gold.
  1. After a piece of equipment is awakened to the next Iconic tier, it will inherit its previous refinement level and special talent. It will also gain a bonus to its attributes.
  2. Equipment set effects will not be affected when awakening one of the constituent pieces to a new Iconic tier.
  3. Your kingdom must be in Season 1 or later to access Iconic equipment and its related systems.

3. Transform Your City Themes With Transmog!

  1. Using the transmog feature, you can change the appearance of a city theme to that of another city theme, while keeping its original attribute bonuses.
  2. You can only transmog a city theme into a theme of the same quality level and unit type.
  3. You can only transmog city themes you permanently own.
  4. Transmogging requires special items, which can be acquired from a variety of events.
#

4. Get Inducted Into the Hall of Fame!
At the end of each Lost Kingdom, kingdoms that performed well will unlock the Go Down In History event. Through this event, the top governors in each kingdom will have a chance to be permanently inducted into their kingdom's Hall of Fame.

  1. The Go Down In History event will begin in your kingdom at the end of the Season if your kingdom meets the requirements:
  • Before reaching the Season of Conquest, your kingdom will only receive this event if it managed to capture the Great Ziggurat at any point during the Lost Kingdom.
  • After reaching the Season of Conquest, your kingdom will be ranked with the rest of your camp by the number of Autarch Testimonies received. If you rank in the top half, you will receive this event.
  1. The number of governors your kingdom can induct into its Hall of Fame each Season depends on a few factors:
  • In the King of the Nile story, Hall of Fame seats will be based on which coalition occupied the Great Ziggurat at the end of the Lost Kingdom. Kingdoms from the same starting province as the coalition will receive 3 Hall of Fame seats each. Kingdoms in the same camp as the coalition but with different starting provinces will receive 1 Hall of Fame seat each.
  • In other stories, all kingdoms in the camp that controlled the Great Ziggurat at the end of the Lost Kingdom will each receive 3 Hall of Fame seats. All other participating kingdoms will receive 1 Hall of Fame seat each.
  1. The Go Down In History event is split into 3 phases: the voting phase, speech phase, and announcement phase. Each phase lasts for 3 days.
  • After the event begins, all governors will receive a "candidate score" based on their total kills and deaths in the Lost Kingdom. The top 20 governors in your kingdom by candidate score will be added to the Hall of Fame candidate list.
  • During the voting phase, the top 300 governors in your kingdom by power will be able to cast votes for candidates. The candidates with the most votes will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
  • During the speech phase, inductees can submit a written speech, which will be added with them to the Hall of Fame. Once this period ends, they won't be able to change their speech.
  • During the announcement phase, the inductees will be permanently added to the kingdom's Hall of Fame.
*The Go Down In History event will only appear for Lost Kingdoms that began after December 11, 2023. View the event in-game to learn more.

We plan to update the game to version 1.0.80 "Easter Elation" on 2024/03/25 UTC. Before the update, you can download data in advance via the Update Version tab on the events page to earn rewards. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and will send you a compensation reward once the update is complete.

1. Our Easter Event Series Is Here!
Death gives way to life, snow gives way to rain, and winter gives way to spring. Prepare your egg basket, because Easter is here and it's bringing new festive events:

  1. Wondrous Wilderness: Complete 7 days of quests to earn egg-cellent rewards. Remember, timed quests can only be completed the day they're unlocked!
  2. Verdant Picnic: Collect Easter Candy and decorate an Easter picnic!
  3. Spring Secrets: Spend Easter Eggs and Straw Bonnets to purchase all sorts of rewards!
  4. Arms Training: Challenge Armsmaster Lohar as he gets stronger with each battle! How long can you last?
  5. Team Draw: Form a team with your fellow governors, then spend Imperial Scrolls to draw fabulous prizes!
See the Event Calendar for a detailed schedule. Some events will only be available in regions where all kingdoms have existed for at least 21 days.

2. New Season of Conquest Story "Alliance Invictus" Pioneer Event Coming Soon!
New features in this story:

  1. Alliance Outposts: You can upgrade any Alliance Flag into an Alliance Outpost. Not only do Alliance Outposts have all the functionality of an Alliance Flag, they can also be used to loan troops to your alliance. Your alliance leader and officers can use these loan troops to garrison buildings and launch rallies.
  2. Alliance Flag Shields: You can activate a shield for individual Alliance Flags. A shielded Flag cannot be attacked for the duration of the shield. Shielded Flags cannot be used as the basis for building new Alliance Flags or launching attacks.
  3. Curios: At the end of a certain Lost Kingdom Chronicles chapter, you will be able to claim a "curio". If a troop's secondary commander has a curio equipped, all units in the troop will be converted into a certain unit type (depending on the curio).
  4. Support Skills: Complete quests from Bastion commanders to unlock their skills as support skills. Each troop can equip up to 2 support skills. Support skills do not affect garrisons or rallied armies.
  5. Altar of Darkness Changes: While the Altar of Darkness is open, any governor with a troop inside the Altar of Darkness's province will receive continuous Honor Points (not just governors in the coalition that occupies the Altar of Darkness).
#

3. "Tides of War" Season of Conquest Story Optimization

  1. Adjustments to Season Rules
  • New Season Rule: When gathering basic resources in the Lost Kingdom (Food, Wood, Stone, or Gold), your alliance will gain alliance supplies (20% of the resources you gathered). Alliance supplies will be stored in the Alliance Merit Shop, and can be redeemed by alliance members with Merits. This rule will take effect for the entire Season.
  • Increased the visibility of the following rules:
*If a garrison captain is reduced to 0 units through combat, it will not immediately return to its original city. It will remain in the garrison until combat has ended.
*In the Lost Kingdom, killing units belonging to governors in other camps will earn you Merits. Merits can be exchanged for alliance supplies in the Alliance Merit Shop. Unused Merits will be lost at the end of the Season.
  1. Tide Effect Optimizations
  • Optimized the display of the Tide of Steel page, specifically in regards to the Attack bonus you gain by earning kill points.
  • Adjusted the number of kill points needed to earn an Attack bonus during the Tide of Steel. Previously, it took 2 million kill points to earn a 0.1% Attack bonus. It now only takes 1 million kill points to earn a 0.1% Attack bonus.
  1. Alliance Merit Shop Optimizations
  • Previously, your resource exchange limit in the Alliance Merit Shop was 10 million resources per day. It has been changed to 40 million resources per Tide (4 days). The exchange limit will reset at the start of each Tide.
  • Added a new tutorial explaining how the Alliance Merit Shop and its exchange limit works.
  1. Personal Directive Optimizations
  • For Personal Directives that have an earnings limit (i.e. a limit on how many benefits you can receive from the Directive), the Directive selection page will now show you your current earnings and the limit.
  • Fixed the Toil Directive ("Reduces your Gathering Speed by 50%, but increases the extra individual resources you earn from the effects of the current Tide by 205%"). It should no longer affect governors after they leave the Lost Kingdom and return to their original kingdom.
  • Optimized the Battlefield Appropriations Directive ("Severely wounding or killing another governor's units will earn you extra resources. Resources earned this way will be mailed to you in installments over the course of the Season (2,000,000 per day)"). The limit for the daily installments has been increased to 5,000,000 per day.
  • Optimized the descriptions of a number of Directives to make them easier to understand.
  1. Alliance Directive Optimizations
  • With the exception of Directives that target alliance buildings, all other Alliance Directives will affect all alliance members. They will continue to affect alliance members even if they leave the alliance.
  • Alliance Directive cooldown times will also apply to the governors that benefit from it. If you receive the effect of an Alliance Directive, you cannot receive that effect again from another alliance's Alliance Directive until the original Alliance Directive's cooldown time has ended.
  • If you use the Tower Defense Alliance Directive to upgrade an Alliance Flag into an Alliance Arrow Tower while the Flag is protected by the Banner of Peace Directive, the Tower will not actively attack other governors' cities.
  • Adjusted the Flaming Out Directive ("Whenever you begin burning an enemy building, increases the time the enemy needs to wait before extinguishing the burning building by 20 minutes and increases burn speed by 200%"). It will now only increase the wait time by 10 minutes and burn speed by 25%.
*The above changes will affect all ongoing and newly-opened Tides of War stories. After the update, all ongoing Lost Kingdoms using the Tides of War story will be updated to reflect these changes.
#

4. Ark of Osiris and Osiris League Adjustments

  1. Skill Rebalancing
  • The Hidden Sentry skill has been made into a generic skill. It can be used by any team without being equipped/taking up a skill slot.
  • You can now store up to 3 uses of the Hidden Sentry skill. In addition, the notification you receive when using the Hidden Sentry skill has been adjusted.
  • Adjusted the logic of the Master Strategy skill. Troops in ranged mode will revert to melee mode if they are moved by the effect of the Master Strategy skill.
  • Rebalanced the effects of the Tear Down, Valiant Stand, Bog Down, Desert Storm, Sneaky Tactics, and Total Vision skills.
  1. 3 New Skills
  • Fire Arrows: Increases the ranged normal damage, ranged skill damage, and ranged attack range of allied troops within the target area.
  • Stocking Up: Visiting Caravans and gathering provisions will grant your team a portion of an Energy Bar.
  • Energetic: Increases the amount of Energy Points your team gains.
*Some skills have had their values adjusted. See in-game for details.
*The above content will appear in Ark of Osiris practice matches after the update. They will appear in the Osiris League after the start of the playoffs.
  1. Ark of Osiris Registration Adjustments
  • Registration will now start on Wednesdays and last for 3 days.
  • The minimum participants needed to register has been changed to 15. If a team has less than 30 starters, they cannot assign any substitutes.
  • Each alliance can form up to 3 teams to take part in the event.
  • During the registration phase, alliance leaders and titled officers can adjust their lists of participants at any time after registering.
  • Added a new "team coordinator" role. Coordinators are in charge of setting up and using battlefield skills.
*These adjustments will only apply to the Ark of Osiris event.
  1. Osiris League Spectator Adjustments
To ensure matches are as fair as possible, governors spectating Osiris League matches will not be able to view the details of each side's skill bars.
*This adjustment will only take effect after the update.
#

5. Other Improvements

  • Champions of Olympia has a new map: Hephaestus Hill! Use signposts to direct "Flamebearers" to their destination.
  • Adjusted the rules for earning Clash Coins in the Canyon Clash event. When attacking an enemy encampment, you can earn 20, 50, and 100 extra Clash Coins by fulfilling 1, 2, or 3 Banner capture requirements (respectively).
  • For the Hammer and Anvil quest in the Alliance Mobilization event, spending equipment materials to awaken Iconic equipment has been added as a method for completing the quest.
  • Added a 7-Day Armament Supply bundle for kingdoms in Season 3 and the Season of Conquest.
  • Optimized the equipment loadout feature and increased the maximum number of loadouts you can save from 10 to 30.
  • Adjusted the rewards for opening Inscription Shard Chests, replacing Epic inscriptions with Transmutation Stones. Within 7 business days of the update, you will be issued Transmutation Stones based on the number of Inscription Shard Chests you've previously opened.
  • Optimized the display when opening Armament Chests.
  • Optimized the descriptions of the Kingdom Chronicles chapters in the Preparation Season and Season 1. These changes do not affect the actual requirements for each chapter or their rewards.
  • Optimized the text of most Karaku-related content, which includes the Ian's Ballads, Karuak Ceremony, Trial of Kau Karuak, and Peerless Scholar events, as well as certain achievements, State Forum dispatches, and Kingdom Newspaper articles.

  1. New Season of Conquest Story "Shifting Gears" Pioneer Event Coming Soon!
    New features in this story:
  1. Commander Revamp: Revamping a commander allows them to lead skirmisher/artillery troops and learn a new active/expertise skill.
  2. Shifters: These new units will redefine the way you approach ranged combat. If a revamped commander is the primary commander of a troop, all the troop's units will be automatically converted into shifters. Shifters have the same base attributes as siege units but half the Load. They do not counter and are not countered by any unit types.
  3. Bonus Conversion: If a revamped commander is the primary commander of a troop on the map, certain bonuses from equipment, talents, formations, armaments, technologies, the Museum, and city themes will be converted into bonuses for shifter units, depending on the commander's original talents. For example, if a revamped commander has the "infantry" tag, all infantry bonuses from the above sources will be converted into shifter bonuses. In addition, melee damage bonuses will be converted into ranged damage bonuses.
  4. Skirmisher Troops: A new type of troop that can launch ranged attacks without switching to ranged mode, but takes increased damage. Deals bonus damage when there are no enemy governor troops within a certain range. Only revamped commanders or those with the engineering talent can use their active skills when leading skirmisher troops.
  5. Artillery Troops: A new type of troop that can launch high-damage ranged attacks. It has much longer range than traditional ranged troops, but a limited firing angle. Only revamped commanders or those with the engineering talent can use their active skills when leading artillery troops.
  6. Revamp Coins: You will need to spend Revamp Coins each time you revamp a commander. You will automatically gain Revamp Coins every hour, and can also earn them by completing Bastion Quests.
  7. Alliance Arrow Towers: Crusader Flags can be transformed into Alliance Arrow Towers, which will attack nearby non-friendly cities. Their attacks will reduce the target city's Wall Durability but will not deal damage to units garrisoned in the city.
  1. New Features and Events!
  1. Experience the all-new Cityscape platform! From the city editor, you'll be able to upload your city layout to Cityscape or apply someone else's layout to your own city.

  1. Season of Conquest Story Improvements and Museum Updates
  1. Museum Update:
  • Added Exhibits for Guan Yu and Leonidas I to the Museum.
  • Unlocked the next level of upgrades for the Museum Relics of Thutmose III, El Cid, and Yi Seong-Gye.
  1. Fixed a bug in some stories where effects obtained during the story would be improperly carried over to your original kingdom, namely effects obtained from Seasonal Strategies in the King of the Nile story, effects obtained from Stratagems in the Storm of Stratagems story, effects obtained from Alliance Directives and Personal Directives in the Tides of War story, and effects obtained from Artifacts in the Warriors Unbound story.
  2. Updated Lost Kingdom Barbarian Keeps. These changes will take effect starting with the Season of Conquest beginning on 2024/07/02 at 00:00 UTC.
  • Added a new Keep difficulty level to challenge.
  • Added Animal Bones to Bloodfist Bargha's loot table.
  • Added new Keep resource centers. These resource centers will expire after a period of time, but new ones will regularly spawn. If your alliance defeats Bloodfist Bargha, your alliance will automatically occupy the Keep's resource centers. Your troops cannot be attacked while gathering from a Keep resource center occupied by your alliance. Higher-level Keeps will spawn more resource centers, and those resource centers will have greater resource reserves.
  1. We've remastered the Heroic Anthem story with an all-new map! We've kept the same map elements and story while completely upgrading the visuals of Holy Sites, Passes, water, and mountains for a richer and more immersive experience.
  2. Updated Great Ziggurat and Citadel rules: If the Great Ziggurat and its Citadels are occupied by two different alliances, but the alliances are in the same coalition, the Citadels will not attack the Great Ziggurat's defenders.
  1. Immigration Optimizations
  1. Cross-season immigration now requires putting down a deposit of 20,000 Gems:
  • Once you receive eligibility to immigrate to a kingdom, a deposit of 20,000 Gems will be deducted from your account. If you don't receive eligibility, you will not need to pay a deposit.
  • Once you've finished immigrating to the kingdom, your deposit will be refunded to you. If your immigration eligibility expires and you still haven't immigrated to the kingdom, your deposit will be lost.
  1. If you have enabled secondary password verification, you will need to complete verification with your secondary password before doing anything immigration-related.
  2. Governors with less than 10,000,000 power are not eligible for cross-season immigration.
  3. Lowered the power limit for cross-season immigration from 100,000,000 to 85,000,000.
#
  1. Other Improvements and Event Updates
  1. Updated the description of Liu Che's expertise skill "Above All Kings". This change does not change the skill's actual effect.
  2. Improved the layout of certain pages:
  • Mobile: Increased the number of troops icons displayed in the troop dispatch queue on the right side of the UI to 5.
  • Added the "Show Full Dispatch Queue" option in the Settings. When enabled, the troop dispatch queue will be able to show 7 troop icons at a time. Troop icons may be automatically resized depending on your device.
  1. Improved the experience of dispatching multiple troops at the same time:
  • When using the "Multi Select" feature to dispatch multiple troops at once, the system will only select troop loadouts from the same section (e.g. only Blue loadouts or only Red loadouts).
  • Added the "Troop Loadouts Include Equipment/Armaments" option in the Settings. If disabled, loading a troop loadout will no longer load its equipment/armament setup.
  1. Improved the City Theme transmog feature: The first time you transmog City Theme A into City Theme B, you will need to spend Little Brushes. Any subsequent times you transmog City Theme A into City Theme B, you will not need to spend Little Brushes. After the update, we will compensate governors who previously spent Little Brushes to transmog the same city themes multiple times.

#
  1. Armament System Optimizations
  1. New "wishlist" feature for special inscription armaments: In the Formations interface, you can now wishlist an armament for each formation. After you've wishlisted an armament for a formation, all special inscription armaments you later acquire for that formation are guaranteed to be your wishlisted armament.
  2. Special inscription guarantee optimization: Added a new progress bar to show you how close you are to getting a special inscription armament. For every rare inscription armament you acquire for a given formation, you'll earn 1 point of progress for that formation. At 9 progress, the next rare inscription armament you acquire for that formation will instead be a special inscription armament. Your progress will reset once you get a special inscription armament.
  • Some time after the update, we will calculate how many special inscription armaments you've previously acquired for each formation and issue "Armament Converter" items via mail. These items can be used to convert a special inscription armament into another special inscription armament for the same formation (e.g. converting a Horn of the North into an Emblem of the North). Converting an armament will randomize its basic attributes and reset its transmutation count.
  1. New Features and Events
  1. New Alliance Ascension event: In new kingdoms, you'll be able to earn rewards by completing quests with your alliance. This event will only be Pioneer tested in a number of newly-opened kingdoms.

Commander Swap FAQ

We've been getting lots of questions about the upcoming Commander Swap event! 🤔 Here are some of the most common ones! Get ready, and if you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team!

❓Q1: What do I need to swap commanders? How much does the bundle cost?
💡A1: You'll need Legendary Swap Tickets to swap commanders. The greater the difference in skill levels between the two commanders, the more tickets will be required to swap them.
For example, swapping an expertised commander with a "1111" commander costs 120 tickets, but swapping an expertised commander with a ""5551"" commander only costs 2 tickets. (yes 2 this is not a typo)

Sources for Legendary Swap Tickets:

  • Purchase them with Gems. Each ticket costs 100 Gems. You can only purchase up to 120 tickets with Gems.
  • Purchase the Fresh Faces bundle. Each bundle costs US$4.99 and contains 12 tickets. You can only earn up to 120 tickets this way.

❓Q2: When will commander swaps be available? How long will the event last?
💡A2: The Legendary Commander Swap event will be tested in certain kingdoms on January 8, before being launched in all kingdoms on January 10 at the earliest.
If your kingdom is more than 3 days from the end of Season 2, the event will start 3 days before the end of Season 2.
The event will last for 5 days after being triggered.
*The above schedule supersedes any previous announcements or info.

❓Q3: Will I be able obtain King Arthur during the Legendary Commander Swap event?
💡A3: Yes. You can get King Arthur by completing quests in the King's Trials event.
(Agoose notes: King's Trials is the event where you complete quests to unlock King Arthur, and it can be unlocked on the fifth day at the fastest. First Strike is the other event where you can try out the expertised King Arthur. They are two different events.)

❓Q4: Can I use King Arthur for a swap? Let's say I swap a "5511" commander with a "1111" King Arthur to get a "5511" King Arthur.
Next, I swap the "5511" King Arthur with an expertised commander. Can I get an expertised King Arthur this way?
💡A4: Yes, you can use King Arthur for a swap; No. Each commander can only be swapped once, as outlined in the November 27 Face-to-Face With the Developers.
Additional Info:

  • You have 2 swap opportunities (i.e. you can swap up to 2 sets of commanders). Swaps cannot be undone.
  • If you immigrate during this event, you will no longer be able to participate, regardless of if you participated in your original kingdom or not.

❓Q5: Can I reset a "5551" Zhuge Liang to "1111", then swap him with an expertised commander?
💡A5: No. Commanders with unallocated skill points can't be swapped.

❓Q6: I have an expertised Charles Martel and 600 Charles Martel sculptures. If I swap him, will I lose the sculptures?
A6: No, you'll be able to keep the sculptures.

❓Q7: If I'm currently using the trial version of King Arthur, can I use him for a swap?
💡A7: You can only swap King Arthur if you have actually recruited him yourself. Here are a few important points to note:

  • You** can't** recruit King Arthur during his trial period, but you can recruit him before starting the trial period. If you swap King Arthur during the trial period, his levels will be based on your own copy of King Arthur, not his trial version's levels.
  • The trial period for King Arthur lasts for 4 days, whereas the Legendary Commander Swap event lasts for 5 days. Even if you start the trial period at the beginning of the Legendary Commander Swap event, you'll be able to recruit and swap King Arthur after his trial period ends.
#

❓Q8: If I'm in a Season 2 kingdom, how can I obtain SoC commanders to swap?
💡A8: We will launch the Gathering of Heroes event alongside the Legendary Commander Swap event. During this event, you can complete quests and earn points to get SoC commanders.

❓Q9: If I don't swap any commanders during the event, will I be able to swap commanders later?
💡A9: No. Regardless of whether you have used your swap chances during the event, you won't be able to swap once the event ends.

❓Q10: Is the number of Legendary Swap Tickets required affected by commander levels or star levels?
💡A10: No, they do not affect the number of Legendary Swap Tickets required.

❓Q11: Does the Legendary Commander Swap event include commanders from all generations? Is there a City Hall level requirement?
💡A11: Yes, you can swap Legendary commanders from any generation, so long as you have permanently recruited them. Your City Hall must be at least level 8 to participate in this event.

  1. Lost Kingdom Domain Optimization:
  • Adjusted domain slot allocation. When adjusting your alliance's battle roster, governors who have left your alliance will no longer be automatically removed, and instead must be manually removed.
  • Each domain now has separate kingdom titles. Titles granted by a domain will only take effect in the Lost Kingdom. At the start of the matchmaking phase, the system will record which domain your king belongs to. Titles granted by this domain will take effect in both the Lost Kingdom and your original kingdom.
  • Improved the logic for determining whether or not to split a kingdom into domains. Kingdoms will now be split into domains based on their activity level, rather than the number of their active governors.

*The above adjustments will only take effect in stories that begin after the update.

  3. If you purchase the Premium Season Crystal Supply during the Season of Conquest, you will unlock the "instant research" feature in the Crystal Research Center.

#

#
  1. Added the ability to "reserve" defender-class kingdom titles:
  • In the kingdom titles interface, you can tap the magnifying glass next to each defender title to open the title reservation page.
  • Select the time slot you want to reserve.
  • If the king or a ruler approves your application, the title will be automatically granted to you during your selected time slot.

Update 1.0.96: Struggle for Supremacy

Greetings Governor,
We plan to update the game to version 1.0.96 "Struggle for Supremacy" on 2025/07/14 at 06:00 UTC. The servers will be down for an estimated 3 hours during the update. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and will send you a compensation reward once the update is complete.

1. The Supreme Strife Tournament Is About to Begin!

  1. Registration Rules: If your City Hall is level 25 and you are in the Season of Conquest, you can form or join a Pact at any time between the start of the event and the end of the registration period.
  2. Qualifying for the Strife: At the end of the registration period, the top 64 Pacts by total power in your server region (International or China) will qualify for the Supreme Strife.
  3. Format:
  • The Supreme Strife consists of multiple rounds of matches, with 8 Pacts in each match. At the end of each match, the 4 Pacts with the most points will advance to the next round.
  • The tournament lasts for a month, with a round of matches held every Saturday. Pact leaders can vote on the specific start time for their match. Each match lasts for 4 hours.
  1. Forming Pacts:
  • After the Supreme Strife event begins, you can create or join a temporary alliance called a "Pact". You do not need to leave your regular alliance to join a Pact, and Pact member limits will increase as the event progresses.
  • You cannot quit your Pact if it is advancing to the next round. If your Pact gets eliminated, you can quit the Pact and join an advancing one.
  1. Gameplay:
  • In each match, Pacts will be ranked by their points. They can earn points by occupying Supreme Sites located across the battlefield.
  • All governors will receive buffs equal to max-level Crystal techs and Past Glory bonuses. Lost Kingdom buffs will not take effect in the Supreme Strife battlefield.
  • To claim territory, Pacts can build Pact Flags on the Supreme Strife battlefield. Pact Flags have a 350% bonus to construction speed and have a fixed Durability of 1000. The build speed of Pact Flags is not affected by the number of governors helping to build it.
  • A certain proportion of severely wounded units in field and stronghold battles will instead be killed. Severely wounded units will be instantly healed at no cost when they return to their owner's city.
  • At the end of each Supreme Strife match, the majority of units killed during the match will be resurrected for free.
  • In the Supreme Strife, commanders can equip skills from auxiliary commanders at no cost, allowing for all-new strategic combinations.
  1. Rewards:
  • After the end of each Supreme Strife match, all participating governors will receive generous rewards. Governors who advance to the next round will receive bonus rewards.
  • Governors will receive additional rewards based on their Pact's final ranking. The reward pool includes permanent city themes, exclusive titles, marching effects, teleport effects, avatar frames, name plaques, and other in-game item rewards.
  • By killing enemy units and training units in the Supreme Strife, governors can level up their Supreme Pass battle pass and unlock new rewards. Purchase the Supreme Soldier bundle to access extra rewards and added benefits.
  1. Pioneer Experience:
Before the Supreme Strife begins, we'll be holding a Pioneer Experience version of the tournament, designed to familiarize potential contenders with the rules and special mechanics. We hope that this preview will make the actual Supreme Strife a more exciting experience for participants and spectators alike.
The Supreme Strife Pioneer Experience has mostly the same rules as the regular Supreme Strife, but with a few differences in format, rewards, and the Hall of Legends. More details will be provided later via in-game mail.

Update 1.1.00: Song of Troy

Greetings Governor,

We plan to update the game to version 1.1.00 "Song of Troy" on** 2025/10/10 at 06:00 UTC**. The servers will be down for an estimated 3 hours during the update. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and will send you a compensation reward once the update is complete.

1. An all-new Season of Conquest story: Song of Troy!

Come take part in the inaugural Pioneer test for this year's key story!
There'll be a few teaser events before story registration begins:

  1. Epic Cycle: Lead the Greek coalition in its campaign across the Aegean.
  2. First Strike: Borrow the strength of a new Legendary commander!
  3. Tempest Clash: Prove yourself a hero on the high seas!
  4. Alliance Quiz: Who's the smartest governor of them all?
  5. World Wanderer Troy: Embark on a journey through history and uncover the secrets of Troy.

Within the story itself, you'll get to experience a ton of new mechanics:

  1. Pantheon: Choose a Greek deity to receive their blessings. Your chosen Patron will provide you with unique buffs and special skills.
  2. Trojan Horses: After your camp occupies its Crusader Fortress, it will start building Trojan Horses. They can be allocated to the alliances in your camp. Trojan Horses can move to any accessible location in the Lost Kingdom (except for Altars of Darkness) and be turned into a Horse Fort (except for in the King's Land). The Horse Fort's territory will be counted as valid alliance territory. While a Horse Fort is under construction, it acts as "temporary" alliance territory. Members of your coalition can teleport into its territory, but their cities won't be protected from attack.
  3. Olympian Arena: As the Chronicles progress, the Olympian Arena will be opened periodically. During the duel period, you can choose a side to fight for and dispatch troops to the Arena. Your dispatched troops will be controlled by the computer and will automatically fight other troops in one-on-one battles.
  4. Exclusive Artifacts: As the Chronicles progress, you will unlock an exclusive artifact for Achilles and Hector. When equipped, the effects of their skills will apply to all unit types.

Two new Legendary commanders, Achilles and Hector, will launch alongside the key story. At the start of a Song of Troy Lost Kingdom, the following events will become available:

  1. Trojan Treasures: Opens chests to recruit Hector.
  2. Son of Peleus: Purchase bundles to unlock rewards and recruit Achilles.

    • Only select armament attributes can be improved through honing, which include: the Attack, Defense, Health, and March Speed attributes of infantry, cavalry, archer, and siege units, as well as all damage.
    • Attributes other than all damage increase by 0.2% each time you hone, with a maximum increase of 3.5%; if you choose to hone all damage, gain a 0.1% increase each time, with a maximum increase of 2.0%.

    • Honing Stones will be available via the Inscription Shop in the Lost Kingdom after this version update.
  2. Optimized Voting Rules During the Matchmaking Phase:
    • When matchmaking results are announced, each kingdom may cast a vote. Votes are calculated independently for each camp. If more than 80% of the votes within a camp reject the result, that camp is considered to have refused the match; otherwise, the result is accepted.
    • If all camps in the Lost Kingdom choose to reject the matchmaking result, this match will be canceled and all the kingdoms will re-enter story registration.
  • These changes apply only to story registration after the version update.
  1. Optimized By-Election Rules:
Kingdoms that have reached their skip limit for story registration will be assigned to a story with a higher likelihood of successful matchmaking during the by-election phase. Kings will not be able to refuse this assignment.

    1. New Lost Kingdom tier: A+. After the version update, the Lost Kingdom tiers will be A, A+, S, and S+.
    2. In addition to the rewards available at each existing Lost Kingdom tier, the following additions will be introduced:
    • When the Lost Kingdom Tier reaches A+ or higher, camps that do not capture the Great Ziggurat will also receive additional Autarch Testimonies. These rewards will be distributed by the leader of the coalition that captures the Crusader Fortress.
    • When the Lost Kingdom Tier reaches S or higher, the coalition that captures the Great Ziggurat will receive additional Legendary Autarch Testimonies.
    • When the Lost Kingdom Tier reaches S+, the coalition that captures the Great Ziggurat will be able to share a Star of Champions with any other coalition.
    • This change applies only to Lost Kingdoms that begin after the version update.
  3. Optimized Season Pace:
    • When Eve of the Crusade and the Lost Kingdom are available simultaneously, high-level Marauders and Marauder Encampments will spawn in both the Home Kingdom and the Lost Kingdom.
    • There is a chance of earning Crystals from defeating high-level Marauders and Marauder Encampments, at the cost of greater action point consumption.

-This city theme set comes with exclusive accessories including city and teleport effects.
-The exclusive city and teleport effects are only applicable when the corresponding city theme is in use.
-If you transmog another city theme into one with set accessories, unlocked accessories from the set will also be available for use.
  2. New SVIP Shop Items: Now features the Thunderous Birdsong series, including a profile theme, an animated emoji, a chat theme, and a special framed avatar.
  3. Optimized Ark of Osiris:
-A replay feature has been added to the Golden Battlefield. Governors can now view their alliance's recent battles under Tournament History for post-match review.
-In Balanced Mode for custom matches, you can now use equipment awakened up to Tier 5.
  4. Conduct Score System: Players who use third-party tools such as scripts or cheats will have their Conduct score deducted. When a player's Conduct score falls below certain thresholds, penalties will be applied accordingly.
*This feature will first be available in kingdoms that have entered the Season of Conquest.
  5. Season 3 Story Pioneer: Select kingdoms that have entered Season 3 can experience the King of All Britain story and battle for glory before entering the Season of Conquest.

Other Features

  1. Alliance Notes: Alliance leaders, counselors, and officers with the appropriate permissions can add notes to alliance members, visible to all alliance members.
  2. Optimized Map Markers:
-Added a Copy All feature for marked text.
-The ability to set coalition markers is now available to leaders, counselors, and officers with the appropriate permissions across all alliances within the coalition.
  3. Quick Checks: Alliance leaders, counselors, and officers with the appropriate permissions can initiate an alliance-wide quick readiness check. All online alliance members will receive a notification and can choose to confirm or decline. This feature will unlock once the kingdom the alliance is in enters Season 1.
  4. Improved PC Shortcut Controls: Adjusted the position of the "Troop Markers" button in PC Shortcuts mode for easier access, and added keyboard shortcut support.
  5. Optimized Auto-Peacekeeping:
-Action Point Display: The auto-peacekeeping page now has an action point display and quick use feature.
-Saved Level Settings: Your previous level settings for barbarians are now automatically saved.
-Target Logic: If your peacekeeping troop becomes targeted by other nearby barbarians, it will now prioritize defeating these barbarians before continuing movement. While marching, if your barbarian target is attacked by non-friendly troops first, your troop will automatically look for a new target based on its current location instead of the starting city.
-Damage Prioritization: The troop with most units remaining will receive damage first.
  6. Modified the "Maneuver at Ease" inscription description for the Wedge Formation II Armament "Herald's Ensign" in some languages. The corrected description should read: Within 5 seconds after using an active skill, for every 3 instances of basic attack/counterattack damage dealt, the next basic attack will have its damage converted into direct damage instead. The direct damage is equal to 150% of the troop's basic attack Damage Factor. This correction is text only and does not affect actual mechanics in game.
  7. Adjusted descriptions pertaining to "Rage Gain Speed" for consistency purposes. This change is text only and does not affect actual mechanics in game.

Thank you for supporting Rise of Kingdoms. We hope you enjoy the game!
