Making this post on here so I can “publish” all my Radiohead / other types of posters all in one place, so I might as well start chronologically from the first one I made:
‘Nature’ / Radiohead / OK Computer
This was based off a project called “Bring Back Nature” run by ‘The Friends of the Earth’. Stanley Donwood collaborated with them with a print of OK Computer’s artwork as a reward for the prize draw’s winner.
‘Airbag’ / Radiohead / OK Computer
This one’s based off the first track off Radiohead’s 1997 album ‘OK Computer’, simply titled ‘Airbag’. The poster itself utilises one of the lyrics from the song as well if it wasn’t obvious already-
‘Chemicals’ / Radiohead / OK Computer
Similarly to Airbag, this one’s based off the track ‘Let Down’ from Radiohead’s third studio album ‘OK Computer’.
‘Chemicals (9,1)’ / Radiohead / OK Computer/OK Minidisks
This is based off an earlier version of the song ‘Let Down’ from OK Computer that was leaked online back in 2019. The track was labeled ‘Let Down (9.1)’ and was recorded sometime in 1996, a year prior to the album’s release.
‘Imaybeparanoidbutnotanandroid’ / Radiohead / OK Computer
Here I’ve tried to recreate one of the posters advertising Radiohead first EP leading up to OK Computer’s release, ‘Paranoid Android’. This poster would’ve been printed in A1 or even bigger and been plastered on London walls and I’ve tried to recreate it the best I could out of only two references that were very low quality.
